Sean and Eileen short break.

Owners were engaging and friendly. The cabin was spacious and clean. There was fruit, continental breakfast with coffee provided. We liked the location and privacy. A great short break.

Amazing place to stay. Tropical rainforest vibe

Location, accommodation, the owners booked us a last minute reservation at the amazing Thai restaurant around the corner, giving us recommendations or where to see in mission beach. Amazing tropical rainforest vibe... wish we got to stay longer. Definitely recommend

Back again

We have stayed here many times and absolutely love it. Its very clean, the aesthetics and furniture are lovely, anything you may need in the room they have thought of and it is readily avaliable, its quiet and exudes a feeling of relaxation. The hosts Steve and Sharon are lovely and have some great local recommendations for dining and sight seeing.

Quiet, Tranquil, Clean bungalow close to the beach

Beautiful room in a very pleasant property, very tranquil, very close to the beach, the hosts went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable, and everything went well despite being sick. Fruits and small snacks, yoghurt, milk and juice was provided for breakfast. There are laundry facilities and a bbq for guest use. Would go back again for sure.

Beautiful bungalows close to mission beach.

The property was a great location and the bungalow itself had everything we needed. Especially liked the fruit and welcome snacks / milk & orange juice this was a lovely touch. Amazing the work that Steve and Sharon undertake on rescuing local wildlife too!

Calm and carefree space, will be back

Steve and Sharon have created a beautiful space for people to enjoy the peace and quiet of Wongaling Beach. A beautiful, clean and comfortable bungalow with all you need- fruit and snacks on entry, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. We loved waking up and seeing kanagaroos and meeting Stella the beautiful rescue Turtle on the premises. Really special place, we felt so welcomed and cared for.

Exceeds Expectations!

The quality of accommodation was exceptional! Every effort was made to make the cabin a comfortable and stylish retreat. Steve and Sharon were warm and welcoming and go above and beyond to make guests feel at home.

We would happily stay here again as it felt like the perfect rainforest retreat.

Well appointed and very clean bungalows and beautiful gardens.Great peaceful location backing onto rainforest.Lovely hosts that were very welcoming with lots of information on things to do in the area.We were especially impressed meeting some of the local animals that Steve and Sharon look after as wildlife carers.

Great hosts with heart Bird sounds in the morning - cabin is nestled among palm trees. Large comfortable bed. Large bowl of fruit andyogurt and milk provided + coffee maker! Beautiful swimming pool

A little piece of paradise!

This was an exceptional accommodation. Bungalow was super clean, amenities and decor were classy - the best of everything was provided. A big bowl of fresh fruit, a Nespresso machine and capsules, a selection of tasty snacks to choose from, juices, fresh milk, cereal. This was an unexpected touch. There were even a couple of indoor game packs for entertainment. There is a small washing machine and spindryer on the verandah, and a clothes airer that does a good job drying washing. Wifi was wonderful. There were a few restaurants within walking distance, and a supermarket. Steve gave some great tips for walks and sightseeing. The hosts look after injured wildlife,so there is always something to see. Maybe best of all was the setting in the rainforest garden, almost daily visits by a curious cassowary that pecked on our window, and the wonderful chorus of birds in the early morning. This place is simply superb.

Some people might not like being away from the main central hub, but this was not an issue for us. It's only a short drive to the centre where all the "action" is, but if you like a stroll to dinner, and a peaceful stay, this is definitely a great place!

A great place to stay with fabulous hosts.

The bungalows were in a great location, just a short walk to Wongaling Beach and a short drive to Mission Beach and Bingil Bay. The hosts were fabulous people who made us feel so welcome to share a little pocket of their paradise. Beautiful self contained bungalow in a lovely tropical garden setting.

Perfect weekend getaway.

Exceptional attention to detail, everything was available for basic in house catering. The position is quiet and private yet close to all amenities. Perfect place for a romantic getaway, we will definitely return.

Great layout and space in cabins. Bed was super comfy. Cabins amongst the trees meant that you felt nice and isolated, despite the other two cabins in the property .

Truly amazing!

This is one of the nicest places anyone could ever want to stay. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable and are willing to assist with any enquiry. You really do need to take the time to visit this location to see how great it truly is, and you won't be disappointed.

The single issue, for me, was the hardness of the bed. This wasn't insignificant as it meant for a restless nights sleep resulting in tiredness the next day. If it wasn't for this single issue I would have given this location a perfect overall rating. Others might like very hard beds so this may not be an issue at all.

privacy, location, cleanliness, atmosphere all just magical plus everything you could possibly need or want & the flora & fauna 😍

this is just own personal choice - bed was a little hard & don’t leave any thing out because the little ants are quick to find it 😆 still love it though

Relaxing, comfortable and refreshing

Amazing accommodation and hosts. My husband and I found this property to be very clean, welcoming and peaceful. We enjoyed two nights here, everything we needed was there, will definitely be back. The pool was so clean and refreshing. Thank you

brilliant

Great location set under forest canopy, wild life walking around the room at sunset. Owners are the local wildlife rescue, and very friendly and welcoming. Fridge and bathroom were stocked with quality snacks and ammenities, not the standard hotel budget stuff. pool is refreshing and the area is kept clean. this place needs more recognition than it has right now. would 100% recommend and stay here again.

Comfortable bungalow with everything you could need surrounded by nature

The bungalows are set in among tall trees with lots of greenery to look at from the windows. It was clean and quiet and there were lots of extras included that I didn't expect! The owners are also lovely to chat to and can provide lots of local knowledge of what to see and do in the area. I really enjoyed my stay!
