Located in Canterbury, this lovely house for $137 per night is a great option for your next break. This beautiful authentic log cabin Bach offers panoramic views of the bay and will have you relaxing in no time. A great sized section with petanque court and native planting that attracts kereru (Wood Pigeon), piwakawaka (fantail) and Korimako (bellbird) for a lovely morning chorus. The Bach sleeps 10 with room in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms for a stretcher or port-a-cot if needed (not supplied). The first bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom is a large mezzanine with a queen bed and 4 single beds. Great indoor-outdoor flow to a large deck with views of the bay and perfect for a classic kiwi BBQ (provided) or watching the sun go down. There is an upstairs deck looking out to the heads which is a great place for a relaxed breakfast. There is a dish washer and washing machine available (please bring your own washing powder/detergent) and a heat pump to keep you warm. So much on offer in this stunning location with the beach and jetty just a couple of minutes walk and a longer walk out to the heads or a monument accessible right from the front door. It is also just a short drive to Akaroa, Purau, Pigeon Bay or Diamond Harbour for some further afield exploring. There is limited / no cell phone coverage in Port Levy, so this is a fantastic place to escape from technology and truly unwind. We love that our batch has no TV and we enjoy wonderful days and evenings of games and socialising with family and friends. Linen isn't provided so please bring your own. Some pets maybe accepted. Please ask a question to discuss. NOTE: Under Kiwi Bach tradition you are expected to: Leave the cabin clean and tidy and do the dishes before you leave.

Really loved this place. Fells very remote with out driving a day!. Awesome short get-away in a cool place with a brilliant deck.(got a touch burnt) Got my first swim of the season off the jetty too. Thanks very much, wIll stay again!

Our group loved getting away to this log cabin. Beautiful house in a beautiful spot, only a short drive from Christchurch. Unique experience being a log cabin. Great deck and lawn area, positioned perfectly for an evening BBQ. Would definitely return.

The bach is well located in port Levy, a close 2 min walk to the jetty. The lical community are very friendly. Remember to buy all your supplies 8n Littleton or Diamond Harbour before going over the hill. It is quite a drive to shops from the bach. Views are breathtakingly beautiful. Bach is cosy and well equiped. Nights are pindrop quiet.

Great place to disconnect from the day to day hustle and have some quiet & relaxing time. The weather did not allow us to use the BBQ, but we imagine it would be a perfect spot to cook up some sausages while enjoying the stunning scenery. The log cabin was warm and cosy even without having the heat pump on, which gives credit to the solid timber construction. Kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm.

Originally booked for the family but plans changed at the last minute and kids didn't come with. The place would have been ideal but saying that my partner and I both enjoyed our stay.

Was beautiful. Great view. Loved staying here and will do again. Loved the walk to the wharf. Beds and couches were a little old and could be replaced but other than that, loved our stay. Thank you 🙂

Beautiful unique house, with a lovely lawn area and amazing views. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back to stay again in the future. The house is very comfortable with everything you need. 5 minute walk down to the ocean. So peaceful.
