Comfortable, clean and absolutely perfect as a base to explore the area. Hosts were super friendly and knowledgeable.

The hosts Phil and Lythia went great. I left my hair straighter at home and Lythia kindly loaned me her daughters for the entire 3 nights we were there. The room was spotless to the point that we thought it was all brand new. Absolutely loved our stay and all the great recommendations for places to eat were on point. Beautiful spot and beautiful hosts. Thank you.

Highly recommended - Will be returning on my next business trip

The hosts were very warm and welcoming. The unit is decorated to perfection with everything you could need. The most comfortable sleep I have had in years with quality mattress and linens.

Only suggestion is to add a dressing gown

Great location, very quiet and central to shops, bars and restaurants. Also quite close to a number of beaches. Staff are great, very friendly and could no do enough to make my stay memorable.

It is quite hot in summer in South Africa, whilst the unit I was in had a very effective ceiling fan in the room, the lounge are had no means to cool it down.

Up in the trees

We stayed in a lovely room up in the trees, clean comfortable and peaceful. Had everything you could need, nespresso machine, fresh milk and an honesty bar stocked with lovely wine and other things. The bed, pillows and sheets were luxurious. Lythia and Phil went out of their way to assist and make us feel at home. We will be back.

Enjoyed staying at One Oak Guest House and will stay there again and highly recommend to others!

The small cottage was beautifully decorated and contained everything I needed to be comfortable and stay in luxury. The property is spacious inside, luxurious, and exceptionally clean. The overall experience was an extremely positive one! Thank you to the hosts!

we didnt have breakfast but location was perfect for our needs as we were attending a concert at Lourensford wine estate. There is absolutely nothing I can fault with this property. It was clean, beatifully furnished, owners were super polite and friendly and I would recommend it to anyone wanting value for money luxury

Amazing Guest Houst!

What a stunning unit, the linen was top class, I had a super comfortable sleep. Wonderful fireplace which is double sided into the bedroom and warmed the whole unit. The kitchen was well stocked and lovely tea and coffee facilities as well as a decent size fridge. The fridge was stocked with thoughtful extras that you could add to your account. I really just loved this spot the owners were super helpful and so friendly. I will definitely be back.

Exceptional

Hosts were friendly, welcoming and accomodating. I had a very enjoyable stay. Loved the homecooked breakfast. Very close to the beautiful Helderberg Nature Reserve. The bed was super comfortable, I will definitely be back!

Cosy, comfortable, beautiful and happy space

The hosts, the breakfast, the amazing bed and decor. A lovely cottage. Sweet dogs and cats available to meet if you want to but wouldn't bother you if you were not an animal person (in which case you are not to be trusted, are you?). Loved everything about it. Super spoilt.

One Oak is run by a super couple who were extremely kind and helpful. The Tree House room I stayed in is extremely well-appointed - no expense has been spared, combining to make it an very upmarket and yet also distinctive and unusual sanctuary high in the green trees of Somerset West's rural outskirts. Lovely - I will definitely visit again!

A hidden gem that keeps on giving with all the extra personal touches that Lythia and Phil provide.

Everything it was so spacious and much bigger than expected. The totally private terrace with beautiful shrubs.

Beautiful, safe and well appointed

I don't know where to start breakfast, the property or the owners. All three were so much more than what we expected. The breakfast is superb and is delivered to your apartment in the mornings. The property is safe, beautiful appointed and the hosts, just amazing.

Comfy chic

The cottage was lovely- very comfy bed,fully equipped kitchen and a great walk- in shower with lots of hot water. The continental breakfast was delicious- loads of food and beautifully presented. Location is good and the hosts,Lythia and Phil were friendly and helpful.

There is some building work on the premises- it didn't worry us, but it's something to be aware of. During power outages there is a rechargeable light but no WiFi, so come prepared!

Tranquil, safe and comfortable

Spacious, clean accommodation and wonderful hosts. Close to the most beautiful wine farms and we had assistance cleaning inside each day which was a lovely spoil. Lythia went out of her way to arrange the stunning breakfast continental food basket for us at 5.30am which was so appreciated as we had to leave early

Just needed some extra cutlery which Phil organised in a jiffy for me

Beautiful, comfortable guesthouse.

Absolutely beautiful guesthouse, loved the fireplace, was perfect for the cold Cape Town nights. The host thought about everything, taking privacy, luxury and comfort into consideration. Cant wait to go back
