Excellent séjour à Turtles Nest.

Accueil très chaleureux de Marc et Béatrice. Marc nous a aimablement organisé l'excursion " cochons-nageurs ", on a beaucoup apprécié. Bel espace-détente sur la terrasse privée.

Manque de lumière dans la cuisine et dans la salle de bain.

Hidden Paradise!

Die Gastfreundschaft ist ohnegleichen. Es wird alles, was man sich wünscht, organisiert und möglich gemacht. Super unkompliziert. Mietauto wurde für uns direkt vor die Tür gebracht. Das Frühstück war sensationell. Täglich frische Früchte und Rührei mit Speck. Sehr lecker! Man muss bedenken, dass die Insel sehr begrenzt Lebensmittel hat und für das ist es wirklich weltklasse! Exuma ist sowieso einer der besten Inseln, die man einfach besuchen kann. Trotz Hochsaison, kaum Touristen! Kilometer weisse Sandstrände mit maximal 5 Personen und das gleich 5min entfernt. Man kann auch ein Kayak für 2 Personen ausleihen und durch die Sandbänke rudern. Echt malerisch! Die beste Entscheidung gewesen!

10 out 10 the best hosts, location!

we stayed at Turtle Nest in Jan. for two nights, and it was our best stay in Bahamas! It's been two months now when I think of the hosts Mark and Beatrice, we can't thank them enough for their generosity, friendliness, and great recommendations for everything! please do yourselves a favor- Trust their suggestions! since we didn't have a phone service when we were in Exuma. Mark covered everything for us, from the booking of the tour being canceled at the very last minute, Mark immediately helped us with a good tour company, otherwise, we would have missed the goal when we were in the Bahamas! Mark was always one step ahead on the logistics, and helped so so much! we appreciate these sweet hosts very much, the best airbnb hosts we have ever known! thank you both!!!

Séjour incroyable, je recommande vivement !

- le vrai atout de turtles nest est le service offert, les propriétaires sont adorables. Ils sont au petit soin et très arrangeants - la chambre est confortable - la plage aux tortues est à 12 min à pied - une voiture en location est disponible sur place à un prix très avantageux - le petit déjeuner à 25$ est très bon ! Je vous le recommande. Vous y retrouverez: bacon, œufs, toasts, céréales, fruits frais etc. - thé et café à disposition avec une fontaine à eau. Ce qui est un vrai plus aux Bahamas - masque, tubas, serviettes de plages à disposition - une sortie snorkling avec Mark. Il est passionné et c’est très agréable de discuter avec lui. Merci infiniment

- il y a un chien à la propriété. Pour ceux qui n’aiment pas les chiens ça peut être gênant car il est très présent mais adorable

Makes you feel home!!!

Mark, Beatriz and Sasha makes you feel home. They will help you with anything you need, including renting a car and general info about the island. Free coffee, tea and water. Room is great and comfortable. They will borrow masks and fins if you need them. Please be nice with Sasha, she’s a lovely dog and I miss her!!! She is actually the owner of Turtles Nest… hehehe Thanks for everything Sasha, Mark and Beatriz!!!

Not taking Sasha back to Brazil with me!!! lol

Rundum perfekt 😊

Wir wurden sehr herzlich aufgenommen. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut, der Strand zum schwimmen mit den Schildkröten ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Außerdem war die Unterkunft sehr gemütlich und sauber - wir haben uns rund um wohl gefühlt 😊

Nos sentimos em casa

Gostei de tudo. Desde a dica de locação de veículo, com ótimo valor. Reservamos antes de ir. Pegamos no aeroporto, já chegamos à pousada dirigindo. Logo ao chegar tivemos a agradável surpresa de ter recebido um up grade para um quarto com cozinha completa, o que foi ótimo, pois pudemos preparar nossos próprios jantares.

Com relação à pousada, gostamos de tudo. Pegamos alguns dias sem sol, com muito vento e maré cheia. da próxima vez vou tentar viajar em datas de maré baixa.

Everything was perfect: the apartment has everything you need, it Is located 5 mins from the turtle beach and it’s a strategic point to visit both the south and the north of the island. The owners are fantastic and very kind persons, always available to give you suggestions and help when you need. I totally suggest this structure to everyone who wants to visit Exuma.

Great place for couples

We went there for a long weekend (4 days) and we really liked our stay at Turtle Nest, there are many positive aspects: - The hosts are really friendly and help you during your stay with local tips - The location is in the middle of the island, which let you explore North and South. You will need a car unless you plan to go only to Hoopers Bay - The breakfast is good. We felt at home

RELAXING!

The property was super clean and comfortable. We loved seeing Sasha, and the owners, Mark and Beatrice, were so welcoming and helpful with recommendations and renting the car from them. Mark even offered to show us a good snorkeling spot, but we had already made different plans sadly. We definitely recommend Turtles Nest!

We wished the property was closer to more restaurants, but that is our fault for not doing more research on the location, and if you rent a car or get a taxi it’ll be easy for you to get around. Mark and Beatrice have an excellent option and price for a car rental on property too.

the perfect accommodation in exuma

everthing was perfect. Our studio was very clean, beatrice and marc are super friendly and helped us out wherever they could and gave us many tips for a great stay in exuma. We even had free drinking water in the room, as well as beach toweles which was super convinient. Sascha, their dog, was super cute :)

Incredible people

We were blown away with owners’ hospitality. We couldn’t hope for a better host. Beatrice and Mark went above and beyond to help us out with anything we needed. If it wasn’t for Mark’s kindness, we would have missed our trip to the pig island as the agency messed up.He kindly contacted them and drove us half way to meet the driver and offered us a lift at 7 am. We got the best tips from exploring the area, to restaurants, etc and that made a huge difference in our satisfaction. The property is also refurbished and clean with very comfortable beds and very nice breakfast available at extra cost. We loved everything and hope to come back as Exuma turned out to be our favourite Island.

The hosts Mark and Beatrice are very kind and helpful. Actually, they are much more than hosts: they are guides, travel planners, good advice givers…! The studio is ideal for the stay in Exuma, very confortable, clean, and with all the commodities one might need. The breakfast time made us feel like home. The snorkeling with Mark was unforgettable! We rent a car trough them, and everything was easy and safe. 100% recommend

Semplicemente perfetto e incantevole

the structure is excellent, clean, welcoming and enjoys an excellent position. The owners Mark and Beatrice are exquisite people, always available and very welcoming. In addition to being very kind, they also advised us what to visit, where to eat and which excursions to do. Mark also take us to snorkel. Sure the Bahamas are wonderful but they helped make our vacation even better. We really hope to be back as soon as possible.

Wonderful stay

Beatrice and Marc and their dog Sasha, Very friendly hosts, who organized everything upon our arrival (our son was not feeling well) Delicious breakfast and very tastefully decorated! Then their knowledge of the island, the tips and tricks made for an extremely enjoyable vacation. Besides the fact that they speak Swiss-German, a tip for those who want to go to Exuma. A rental car is necessary, as it is located a little further from the beach, but therefore extremely quiet! We can only recommend it.

Best vacation I've ever had in Exuma, I'll be back

Staying in Turtle nest was a fantastic experience, beyond all expectations, Mark and Beatrice are two fantastic people who welcome you and cheer you to feel immediately at home, Mark with his knowledge of the island makes you visit fantastic places and accompanies you to snorkeling, I will definitely go back and definitely recommend staying at Turtle nest, I recommend taking a rental car to fully enjoy the island of exuma

Internet doesn't always work but it's not Mark and Beatrice's fault, unfortunately in Exuma it works well in some areas in others it doesn't, I hope they solve it.

Amazing stay, great location and hosts are wonderful.

This was such an excellent experience. Mark and Beatrice were so kind and welcoming and helpful the whole trip. The room was large and beautiful, really comfortable bed, lots of beach and regular towels. There was a fully equipped kitchen and free drinking water. We also rented a car from them for $65 a day and it was perfect. Excellent location, walking distance from a gorgeous beach and grocery store and pizza place. There was bar soap, liquid hand soap and laundry detergent- laundry machine worked perfectly and there was a clothing line to hang clothes. Really nice outdoor seating area. There were fans and air con and a tv and choice of DVDs. Great wifi. Adorable dog too. Can not recommend this place strongly enough.

Bring anti bug spray because if you're outside at night the sand flies will eat you alive

Great Place with super friendly and helpful hosts.

The studio was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary cooking supplies (pots, pans, utensils). The overall room was clean and updated. The hosts have an awesome dog that wanders by occasionally. It’s a short drive to the Turtle beach. Also, very walkable if you don’t have a rental car. It’s also a short drive to the Fish Fry or into George Town. I can’t say enough about how friendly and helpful the owners are. Really top notch service!

The area is wooded, and as such has mosquitos and noseeums at night. Just remember your bug spray if you’re going to be outside at night.

Mark and Beatrice are sensational hosts. They go the extra mile to make sure their guests have a wonderful stay on the island. They organized a day trip for us despite the unstable weather, took us snorkeling and even gave us a ride to the beaches and the airport. We felt very welcomed from the first second.

Beatrice and Mark were wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond (really!) to make sure we would have the best experience not only at Turtle Nest, but in Exuma. They had by far the best suggestions, and they helped us get places that we wouldn’t have otherwise been able to. Lastly, Turtle Nest is perfectly located in the middle of the island, and the rooms are cozy and clean.

Nothing really. This was by far one of the best vacations. Exuma is beautiful, but having great hosts made so much better!

Mark and Beatrice are super welcoming and they offered to give me a ride to the beach or dinner. Location is really good - 10-15 min walk to hoppers bay with all the turtles. the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms modern.

Such a perfect stay

Our stay here was completely perfect. Mark and Beatrice helped us with everything, they are so nice and we are very grateful to them. They make us feel so in home, helped us every time we needed. The apartment is beautiful, comfortable and has everything to make your stay perfect. If you ever goes to exuma, please stay here because you are not gonna regret it. We hope to come back soon, with a better English for more conversations and stories. We already miss Sasha, such a good and beautiful dog!! Hope you the best Mark and Beatrice, and we truly hope to see you again.

Lovely place!

Everything was very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. It was very good value if you consider that the prices on Exuma are super high. Very friendly and helpful hosts. It felt like a super cosy home! We would definitely recommend this place. We recommend to rent a car as it is not next to the place and you can explore the island much better. We loved it!

Very accommodating hosts. Simple yet extremly clean and comfortable rooms.

Breakfast was optional and extra, which was as advertised. Very relaxed and flexible. Some BnBs that I have stayed at had rigid and strict hours, but Mark waited until we were ready and made it to order.

Locations was Brilliant. A distance from the airport, good proximity to amenities and the beach. We stayed in the studio which was perfect for what we needed.
