We had a great stay at this awesome house. The kitchen is perfect to cook in for a large family. There were plenty of rooms for everyone to spread out. The back deck, pool, grill, and patio is wonderful! We spent a lot of time relaxing by the fire pit, taking dips in the pool, and enjoying the use of the grill. Quiet property, host is very nice as well. We will book again!

This place is a real gem. Spacious and open, bright but private.. beautiful. In the morning the hummingbirds were all over and the deer and bunnies, hawks and birds made it feel like an oasis. It was a perfect stay. The yard and pool make for great relaxing or playing outside.

Overall just a good experience at a wonderful property. The pool is great, and the pond is beautiful. At night it is so full of frogs singing and you can see the stars. The house is large and comfortable. A small issue with the door code upon check-in, but Javier quickly responded and resolved the problem.

Positives: Once we settled in this property worked for our large group. The kitchen bar and stools and the grand table were perfect for eating and playing games. The TV area and comfy couches were also a plus. Plenty of beds, bedding, towels, etc. We used the large grill several nights and it worked well. Was too cold to swim, but the outdoor area/furniture was great as well. The property owner/manager was kind and responsive when I called. Negatives: Heating in one of the master bedrooms was an issue the first 2 nights but it was resolved. There was lots of opened food in the pantry and fridges when we got there and a dog bowl full of water and dog hair in the garage. The gate entrance was broken and wide open when we arrived and it kind of gave a run down vibe to the property. We didn't use the paddle boat because we knew we wouldn't be able to put it back the way we found it. The check out instructions via email were different than the ones listed in the VRBO app.

This was our second year in a row staying at the Sprawling Lakes Resort Home. Beautiful location, property upkeep was a bit lacking this time around, yet the ambiance, and overall stay was magnificent. Property Owner is a pleasure to work with and eager to quickly repair any issues that rose during our stay. Hope to book again in the future!

Our family traveled from Alaska, Bahamas and Washington, DC for a surprise party being held in Gainesville. This was the perfect hideaway for us to stay out of site and socialize until the day of his function. We loved it and look forward to visiting again soon!

My family and I were in town for a wedding. The property was conveniently located 5-10 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go. It’s super quiet and we even saw a few deer on the property. The homeowner was extremely responsive to questions and the property inside was very clean except for a few small hiccups. It was also stocked with plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, etc. The exterior of the property looked as though someone had not stayed there in a while, though. The dock was caved in at the end and surrounded by weeds on the side so we really couldn’t do anything related to the lake. We did see piles of lumber so maybe they are working on fixing that? The pool’s water level was over a foot below the skimmer so it was completely full of leaves. It had toys left in it and the chlorinator had the top broken off of it. In the homeowner’s defense, it was too cold to swim anyway and the pool company came out to clean it the day after we arrived. Regardless, the pool area looked like it had not been tended to in quite a while. When we initially arrived, the gate was held open by a wooden stake in the ground because apparently the gate was broken - but no one notified us of this. We had to ask in order to be told. It wasn’t fixed while we stayed there for 4 nights. The door lock also is extremely finicky as many of the buttons you have to press multiple times to get it to register and it times out after a few seconds. When it’s raining outside and you’re spending 2 or 3 minutes playing with the door lock, it can be a bit frustrating. I’m tech savvy and have my own smart locks on my homes, but this one was just worn out. Everyone that locked/unlocked the property in my family commented on it. Overall, very clean and nice inside but the only amenity that was useful outside was the fire pit area. We enjoyed our stay, but had to take the kids elsewhere to have much to do during the day other than play in the yard. Regardless, we would stay again at the property.

This is a unique property, close to everything and set in a beautiful location. Can accommodate a large group and has everything you’d need for a stay. I’d definitely stay here again!
