About this houserental
Nestled in Mesquite, this attractive house for $205 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This is the perfect home-base for your golf vacations, family sports tournaments, and year-round outdoor recreation. After the high-energy fun, dial it back with a hot, water-jet massage in the hot tub under the stars, or an invigorating swim in the private swimming pool. Or just relax and hang out in the sun for days. The pool is heated by a high-capacity heat pump, capable of warming the pool to 70 - 75F on average days, even in the winter! We installed a new vinyl fence on south and east sides for added privacy and improved ambiance. Clean, comfortable, and fully-equipped, this single-level house has new paint and luxury plank flooring, comfortable beds with high thread-count sheets, new ADA-compliant toilets, and high-quality furniture, with a leather recliner and couches. The kitchen includes all the gear, plus basic condiments, spices, reverse-osmosis filtered drinking water, and a K-cup coffeemaker. Outside, there’s a new Weber grill, and laundry room across the breezeway. Bring your canine family members along, for a small additional fee ($60). In the attached two-car garage you’ll find an air compressor for your motor toys. Outside, there’s a three-vehicle driveway, and space for several more vehicles in the street. All your vehicles will be just a few footsteps (with no stairs!) from the house. Snowbirds from the north will love Mesquite’s warm climate. With 300 sunny days each year on average, and an altitude 1280 feet lower than St George, and 430 ft lower than Las Vegas, it’s the warmest you can find within a half-day’s drive from Salt Lake. The average high temperatures are above 60F every month. When the weather is warmer, you can play in the nearby mountains and plateaus, and our private swimming pool and shady patio areas offer a cool respite afterward. The quiet cul-de-sac is within walking distance of several fabulous restaurants and taverns on Mesquite Boulevard, and it’s near Hafen Park, and trails along the Virgin River. Besides the many miles of nearby dirt roads and cycling, motorcycle, and ATV trails, Mesquite is close enough for daytrips to St George (35 minutes), Zion National Park (90 min), Las Vegas (80 min), Valley of Fire State Park (70 min), and multiple Grand Canyon excursions (perfect for warmer months). Mesquite is easy to navigate with light traffic, and it is home to 7 golf courses, including CasaBlanca Golf Club - a fine Cal Olson design built in the mid-1990s, Falcon Ridge Golf Club - with amazing views, Wolf Creek Golf Club, and Contestoga Golf Club - a challenging Gary Panks design. The location was just minutes from the park. It was very convenient for us as we had to be there everyday at the crack of dawn. There was a little miscommunication with the entry door code he gave us but Curtis was quick to respond. The house is perfect for our family of 7. Couldn’t use the pool, it sure didn’t feel heated at all and the water was extremely low. The hot tub was spectacular due to the cold front that weekend so we didn’t mind. The house quickly ran out of toilet paper and the soap dispensers were near empty when we got in so we stopped at Walmart to buy more. Wasn’t aware the tv’s only work via roku. Thank God we were able to connect our apps to it so we could keep the kids entertained. Overall, we were happy with this VRBO and would definitely rent it again in the future if we come back next year.

Fantastic property and location. My family had an excellent time over Thanksgiving at the property. The property owners were responsive and accommodating at all points in the process from reservation to check-in, and check-out process.

This home was perfect for our football weekend getaway. My kids were able to play before and after games in the pool and they really enjoyed the hot tub after the football games. The house was very clean and the owners were very friendly when communicating.

We were impressed from day one! Out check in was a breeze and the place is full of fun activities for the family. From the pool to the games it has everything you need for a nice comfortable stay. It was in a perfect location for our sports tournament and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. The host was very helpful and their attention to the needs of a guest were exceptional. Would most definitely be staying here again when the time comes.

This was our second stay here and we love it! We are pool people so it is so nice to have a private pool to enjoy whenever you want. The hot tub is awesome too. They stock up the kitchen with little things you need like spices, and condiments which is great! Lot of towels and great layout of the home. We will be back!

We went down for a quiet weekend, and having never used Vrbo were very impressed with the home. They had thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable including thoughtful items like robes for going back and forth to the pool, any type of pan you might need and even spices. The home was updated and well appointed, we we totally enjoyed our stay!

My wife and I got some food from the local Smith's and escaped from the world for 2 days. We never left the house. Having the pool and the hot tub in such a quiet place was what we needed to clear our heads from the world.

Everything was great until the AC stopped working. I was promptly refunded for the time I didn’t get to stay there. I would definitely stay there again in spite of the AC mishap since it was addressed and handled fairly.

I stayed a week here with 2 buddies for a week long golf vacation. It was perfect for all our needs. Curtis was extremely responsive and pleasant to work with. We plan to stay in future years when we come back for more golf!

Felt at home at this property. Indoor accommodations were very comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay great. The pool, hot tub, covered seating by the pool, different places to sit at an outside table throughout the day, etc. really helped make the stay even more pleasant. Only downside was that we needed more pool floats that didn’t leak!

The home is in a great central location. It was just minutes away from both golf courses we were golfing at. The home has lots of character and was clean and comfortable. The pool is well kept and the temperature is just right. Did not sit in the hot tub, but it looked nice and clean.
We will definitely be looking forward to staying here again.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay!
We did have a hiccup on check-in. The cleaners had a scheduling SNAFU, and the residence hadn’t been turned over. After notifying the owner, we were immediately contacted by the cleaner, who apologized and made arrangements to remedy the situation. Additionally, without prompting, the owner refunded our cleaning fee.
The house was perfect, and the amenities were better than advertised. Little perks like a provide waterproof pool area speaker were much appreciated.

This home was so great & made it easy to feel comfortable & just like home. Perfectly stocked on linens, basic pantry items/condiments, and anything to make it feel like home-away-from-home. The beds were comfortable & there were plenty of pillows to choose from. It was a bit too cold out to use the pool but hot tub was amazing. We will absolutely be back for another stay!!

5 stars all around, we’ve stayed here before and hope to do so again. Super clean and cozy, comfy beds/bedding, very home-y feeling on a quiet cul-de-sac… love the privacy outside. Remote work friendly! Good, fast internet and the dining area makes a great work space. The Pages are easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything needed to enjoy our stay.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay in Mesquite. The pool and hot tub were in great condition and although we didn’t use the pool as much as we’d hoped in the chilly weather, it was still nice to sit outside in privacy by the water. The interior has a lot more to it than the photos indicate - huge smart tv, walk-in closet and a spacious kitchen and dining area. We actually decided to explore the desert close to the house vs. going on longer road trips because the house was so comfortable. We’ll be back!

The house was extremely nice and clean. Plus, if there are any maintenance issues, the repairman lives a few houses down. The owner is very responsive! We ended up locking ourselves out of the house, a d he talked us through it.... no delays or issues!
The only recommendation would be to have the maintenance guy turn down the air about 3 hours prior to arrival....so, the house cools off. We thought it was broken, but just needed some time to cool down.
Unfortunately, we didn't get an opportunity to use the pool or hot tub, but the owner kept it really nice and clean.
Would definitely stay again. 🙂

We had a great time with our family on our first get away with a baby! There was plenty of space for our pack n play in the master bedroom. The guys were able to get in lots of golfing and be back in time for plenty of relaxing by the pool. Being extremely nit picky here, when we arrived the AC was not on so that was pretty uncomfortable for the first hour or two with a baby and unloading the cars but otherwise we had a fantastic time and the house had everything we needed.
