We do not recommend this property. You can find a much better place for your money.

We liked the location and beach access.

The lack of cleanliness and upkeep. Not just the unit we stayed in but the property it self. We understand different variables can affect maintenance and housekeeping but this property is showing signs of neglect. The pool area for example, moldy and broken lounge chairs, weeds growing in pool decking to the cloudy dirty pool water. Then there were the dead bugs by the units door that had not been swept up before our check in, grimy floors, one floor tile had a small blood stain proving that they had not been properly cleaned. Dishwasher with food particles left in the bottom as well as strands of black hair inside on the dishwasher door. Then there was the dirty dishes and utensils that had been put away. But the one thing that really got to me was when we started to see roaches. On the second night I’d killed 2 that were in the kitchen/living-room floor. Thinking they must have gotten in through the door since that is where I’d seen a few dead ones . But on our last morning I’d gotten up to start getting ready to leave. Went into the master half bath turned on the light and there on my toothbrush was a huge roach! I should have taken a picture before I’d gotten my husband out of bed to take care of it for me. This place is way overpriced for what we had gotten.

We celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary there and really had a good time. Went to Harry A's

I loved the location being within a rocks throw from the ocean. The patio is beautiful. We wasn't able to use the pool, but will keep this location in mind because of the pool.

I wish you could've asked the Lord to stop the rain, but it was wonderful anyway. HE let it stop long enough for us to walk a couple of miles along the beach.

Loved the pool and the place was cozy and fun great location to the beach

Loved how convenient the beach access was

Hot water heater wasn’t working, maintenance came right away and fixed it but than it quit working again There was roaches in kitchen and master bath

The description given of the property on Booking.com was way out of variance with what we found on arrival. which was a 6 unit cluster of ground floor beach apartments/ bungalows of the ageing variety. Not enough cooking utensils and the eclectic mix of crockery and cutlery need replacing/ updating

I absolutely love the Island, love LaPlayita and plan to book my next trip here.

maybe a 100 ft to beach. easy access, quiet, peaceful, clean, well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. view of beach. Loved it. Easy check in. Everything about it was wonderful.

It was perfect. The apt. the pool, the view. Everything was perfect. They even had beach towels provided.

I thought it was a great place. The price was right, but the cleaning fees seemed a bit high.

it was a great location close to the beach.

The beds were okay. I thought this was a no pet place. But there were a few dogs there.

Great get away!

The kitchen fully stocked with every kind of tool needed to cook for a family. Plenty of linens, beach towels!! Comfortable furniture.

A first aid kit may have been helpful (although not needed!)

Overall it was a wonderful place. We will definitely book again.

The place over met our expectations. I loved the kitchen and beach themed furniture in the home. Great location from the beach. Its right across the street from the beach access. Very clean when we went in.

The bed wasn’t comfortable to my liking, but my husband and I both have back pain so it could be us.

Location was amazing, I'll never do a Florida stay without visiting St. George Island again and considering this rental!

The wifi did not work and the couches were spotted (to be expected this close to the beach, I suppose). That's it!

My stay was so enjoyable that everyone is still talking about that hidden treasure.

We absolutely loved the place. It accommodated my party and we were all comfortable. We would love to come and stay again soon!

I'd like it if we cc oils stay longer next time. It was perfect!
