Our trip coincided with the landfall of Hurricane Lee - Donna went above and beyond on getting us updates, suggestions and even offered us some flexibility on the rental dates. All ended up working out as planned and it was a fantastic stay. The place was as described and as expected. The deck is awesome, nighttime sky views are unbeatable, it’s a nice area for walks and the serenity of the water and quiet neighbors made for a great getaway. A 10/10 recommendation for the rental, the owner and everything about it!

The house is very nice. Missing some basics- wine glasses, outdoor grill, very few electrical outlets and odd that both bathrooms are on the same level. The house was clean and wonderful to have washer/dryer and dishwasher. The view was outstanding and comfortable to sit on the deck and take daily walks to the point.

Our stay in Machiasport was wonderful. Terrific location that is quiet and off the beaten path with access to the best of what Maine has to offer. We visited Acadia, Lubec, Bar Harbor, as well as a few local spots like Devils Oven and Bad Little Falls. The views from the property were spectacular! One night there was a late day shower and the most stunning, rainbow appeared! It spanned the entire horizon! Never have we seen such a marvelous rainbow! The home was tidy and well organized. Just the right size for our family of four to relax after a day of exploring down east Maine. Donna was a delight to correspond with always Timely, friendly, and informative. Overall a wonderful vacation experience!

Everything was pretty much perfect. Appreciated having laundry soap, paper towels, paper plates, etc. we’re used to a king bed so the bed was a little uncomfortable. Loved being able to cook but it’s kind of dark by the stove. Maybe a small lamp on the side? It’s a beautiful area and neighbors were very nice. Enjoyed Matt’s lobster and Helen’s Cafe and of course, the deck.
