You are truly away from it all, while the amenities of Silverthorne- restaurants and shopping- are just minutes away at the bottom of the hill. With a plethora of shopping and dining options and quick access to I70, Silverthorne is the ideal home base to explore the Colorado mountains. We are a little over an hour from Denver- about one hour and twenty minutes from Denver International Airport. The home is extremely convenient to all the Summit and Eagle County Ski resorts- Keystone (10 minutes), Breckenridge (20 minutes), Vail (35 minutes), Beaver Creek (45 minutes), Copper Mountain (15 minutes), Loveland (15 minutes), Winter Park (50 minutes). —————————————————— ABOUT THE HOUSE This is a truly unique home, with three updated and well-appointed levels! *Entry* The small entry foyer is located between the first and second levels. You will find coat hooks, a ski rack and shoe trays here. We ask that you please leave all shoes and boots in the foyer. *First Level* The lower level consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom and laundry. The lower front bedroom has twin bunk beds, a toy box and a dresser with a fun mountain theme. This room is mainly intended for children. The top bunk has a weight limit of 200lbs. The closet in this bedroom is being used for housekeeping storage. The lower rear bedroom has a queen sized bed, roku tv, and dresser with a southwest theme. This room has a large walk-in closet. You will find a few extra blankets, humidifier, pack-n-play, vacuum, broom and dust pan, iron and small ironing board here. The newly remodeled bathroom features radiant floor heat, a tub/shower with window and tiled ledge for all of your bath essentials. *Second Level* This is the main living area. A wonderful, cozy space with an open concept design. This level contains the living room, dining room, kitchen and breakfast bar with huge windows to take in the expansive mountain views and a door onto the very large deck. The living room features a cheery wood burning fireplace. With stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, the kitchen is updated, modern and very well stocked. There are pots, pans, baking trays and dishes, and numerous small appliances. The deck is a wonderful extension to the living space with a seating area, table and chairs, and gas grill. *Third level* This level is the master suite with a fun boho inspired design- blacks, whites and grays with a splash of yellow. There is a king sized bed, dresser, reading chair, roku tv, and a little office nook with desk and chair. The mountain views from the king sized bed are absolutely incredible! The bathroom is a few steps down from the bedroom and features a large walk-in shower with bench. Like most houses in the Colorado mountains, we do not have air conditioning. The third floor gets warm on sunny summer days. Opening the windows up in the evening will cool the room pretty quickly since night time temperatures are very cool. You may want to close the blinds and drapes at night to maintain the temperature- but maybe not, as the sunrise view is pretty amazing! The lower levels of the house stay fairly cool all day. All mattresses and most furniture were purchased new in April 2021. Indoor fires in the wood-burning fireplace are permitted September through April. Please use extreme caution as the area is prone to wildfires. There is firewood stacked about the property. One rack of wood near the fireplace is provided complimentary. If you require additional firewood, it is available for purchase at Lowes. Chopping and stacking firewood is hard work! We have enough for winter for ourselves and one rack per guest. The house offers wifi and three roku TVs. Guest can sign onto their Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime and other popular smartTV apps using their accounts. We do not have cable service. The house is equipped with a ring alarm system, consisting of motion detectors, door and window sensors, smoke and co2 alarm listeners and video doorbell. There is also a security camera on the front exterior of the home and wildlife cameras on the side and rear exterior recording motion, audio and video 24/7 for the protection of our home. If tampered with, guest will be asked to vacate the property without refund of stay. This is not just a rental property. This is our mountain home. Great care and thought was put into all the little details. We truly hope you enjoy all the special touches and unique charm of our little mountain retreat. ***—————————————————*** A few notes on SNOW… You’ll need to travel about 3/4 mile on an unpaved, but well maintained gravel road to reach the house. For this reason a 4WD vehicle is strongly recommended. Additionally, I70 has traction laws in the winter requiring a 4WD vehicle with tires appropriate for snow. We have a contract for driveway plowing November to April. You may need to shovel the front stoop during your stay and put down some salt in front of the shed (where the trash and ski storage is located), as this area tends to get icy. ***___________________________________*** HOUSE RULES This is a PET FREE PROPERTY. First off the views are stunning! It was so nice to have those views but then be able to be in town in a matter of a few minutes. All of our group agreed we couldn’t find a single negative thing about this cabin. It is exactly as the listing states if not better. Anything you could possibly need was there plus extras. The owner was super responsive. We saw the neighborhood fox several times and mule deer from the deck. Would not hesitate at all to rebook.

My wife and I found this home to be perfect for our honeymoon and first trip to CO! The location was great and we fell in love with Silverthorne! The house was clean, cozy, well decorated, and well stocked. Jill even sent us a video of a moose walking through the yard in the morning! Dont miss the sunrise through the master bedroom windows. Although there is no AC, keeping the windows open at night was perfect. We were worried about the construction next door but they were quiet the entire week! I highly recommend this house for any mountain getaway.

Our trip included skiing at Breckenridge, Copper and Keystone. We sought a location that was equal distance to each so that none of the locations would be difficult for travel in the morning. The accommodations are just as described and communication with Jill is wonderful. Short drive to Lowes and Walmart for supplies or food, and places to eat within reason. Would stay again!

My brother, a few friends, and myself stayed here during out snowboarding trip and it was great! The location was perfect for easy access to the 3 different resorts we went to. The home itself was very comfortable and accommodated the 4 of us with ease. And the views were great! Nothing but praise for the home and the host!
