We had a great time at Sigiri Sandilu. The host family was very friendly, they gave great tips and drove us to Pidurangala Rock for free. The food (especially dinner) Was also one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. The location in the farmland was great (you can reach good restaurants and Shops by foot) and we saw many animals.the room was perfectly clean, with a very modern AC and comfortable beds.

You stay at the home of the sweetest family. Super clean and comfortable room. Hot shower. Airconditioning. At walking distance from the restaurants (5-15min) Lovely Sri Lankan breakfast prepared by the lady of the house. Quiet place.

Accomodation in nice garden, calm place, clean and nice room, boss and his family were very friendly, familiar atmosphere, they prepared really rich dinner for us and recommended many activities. There are many opportunities for trips.

It was without any doubts our best stay in Sri Lanka! The host and his family welcome us in their place and let us feel part of their family. They hanged out with us without never being too intrusive or pushy. The host organized for us transfers and safari for very reasonable price. And the food was just abundant and amazing. We were very sad to leave.

This is by far the best place we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka so far. Surrounded by nature at its finest, the place is really welcoming. A clean room, a comfortable bed, hot water and a family that made our stay ten times better. Their dinner and breakfast are absolutely delicious. The host, Ravi, went out of his way to make our experience great. He had late evening tea talks with us to answer any of our questions regarding their culture and the country. He took us to his own rice plantation and arranged a Safari tour for us. He even cleaned our TukTuk after a night of heavy rain! All in all, this place has our full recommendation and we will 100% stay here when we come back.

This is an incredible house for many reasons. The most important is the family, they are extremely nice people. Ravi is a farmer who plants mainly rice, and he believes in organic production. The food they prepare is delicious, and the breakfast is spectacular, it was such a nice suprise when they served the table for breakfast, with fresh fruit, roti, and other homemade breads. They use mainly rice flour that is made from the rice that Ravi produces. Definitely the best breakfast in the world!!! We think that the price should be higher for all what we got. The situation of the house is in the middle of the countryside, near the Sigiriya and Purudangala rocks.
