Located in North Dakota, this charming house for $119 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Quaint and charming remodeled home on a quiet street in beautiful Bottineau, ND. Originally an early 1900’s Granary, this home was moved to its current location in the early 1940’s and additions were added for the kitchen, bathroom and a second bedroom. The home has all hard surface flooring for easy clean up and is uniquely decorated in a rustic farmhouse theme. We even left some hidden treasures exposed in the recent remodel like the brick chimney and aged wood siding. Bottineau and the surrounding area have some of the most beautiful scenery in ND. Just a short drive from the Turtle Mountains, Lake Metigoshe, Bottineau Winter Park (Annie’s House) and The International Peace Gardens, this home would be a great home base for travelers to the area. The community of Bottineau itself offers several options for dining and local shops. The home is centrally located and within walking distance of the downtown area, Walmart and the city park featuring Tommy Turtle.

My daughter and her fiance/husband stayed here for the weekend while in Bottineau for their wedding. I had told Miranda it would be the "Honeymoon Suite," and she gifted them with a bottle of wine and candy/cookie bouquet upon arrival. That was a special touch she didn't have to add, but was certainly appreciated.

Our experience with this house was great. It is small but it was perfect for two people. Although the house is technically old, It has been completely redone (lots and lots of electrical outlets...quite handy in this digital age of recharging devices!). It is situated in a small town that is just the right size...we could easily walk to local stores (even Walmart), parks, movie theater, and restaurants. The only thing to be aware of is that the bedrooms have no closets, only a few drawers and hooks. Since we only used one bedroom, we simply used the 2nd bedroom as our walk-in closet, laying much of our two weeks worth of clothes on the bed. Also remember, that there is no washer or dryer provided...but that problem was rectified by the coin laundry in town. Overall, we had a great time. The owners were extremely attentive, responding to any problem (we had a circuit beaker blow, and they were there in less than ten minutes to fix the problem!). Our two-thousand mile drive to get here was well-worth the wonderful experience we had.

This was a great vrbo! It was very clean and had everything you could think of for cooking along with games, books, tv and a quiet place to sit in the back yard. Although we preferred the front as many birds would come around there! Highly recommend this place!

What a charming rustic home that is a refreshing change of pace from staying at a local hotel. This cozy place has plenty of room for a couple or small family and the layout and decor are exactly what you see in the pictures.
Miranda is an excellent host and her communication is fantastic. The wifi works well, the kitchen is fully stocked, and the beds were very comfortable after spending the day on Lake Metigoshe. The house is very convenient and it's a sweet little home with everything you need. We would definitely stay again!

Miranda was a great host, and chatted with me at length to answer all the questions I had. The house is cozy, quaint, and very well equipped. The heat had no trouble keeping us comfortable even in the 12 degree temps overnight. The kitchen is fully stocked, and well apportioned. I plan to book this house every year for our annual duck hunting trip as long as it is available.

This place was perfect! She thought of everyting and very pet friendly! Decorated so cozy and so inviting. AND it was only two houses down from my parent's house! PERFECT! We will definitely be staying here again! We went up to Bottineau for a quick birthday celebration for my father and my husband said, " I love this place so much, it felt like we were on vacation! "

This house was a cute find. We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The owner was very responsive and even went out of her way to bring my kiddos a basketball. Very cute home. The only thing I’d recommend is that if you need to do laundry you have to use the laundromat. We were very fortunate to have family in the area to use there washer and dryer. Otherwise I’d recommend this place. I’ll definitely stay there again!

This property was in a perfectly centralized location for our visit with family who lives in Dunseith and Lake Metitoshe. It was clean and well appointed. It was a place for us to rest our heads in a comfortable bed and wake up to making our own coffee before we headed on our way to family events.

This is the sweetest little house - little but spacious and comfy with everything you could need or want during your stay. Miranda was helpful and friendly and available if need be. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook. The bed was really comfortable and it's a wonderfully quiet area. We slept so well. We traveled to Bottineau to help your daughter relocate and are glad to have found this place as we now know we have someplace wonderful to stay. Highly recommended!

Best experience ever!
First off, Miranda is a WONDERFUL host. Communication was amazing, her house is very cozy, welcoming, and literally has everything you’d need. She’s so intentional about making sure your stay is as great as it can be, and it will definitely be that way. She goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and throughly enjoy your stay. We originally went up to Bottineau to enjoy the ski resort and when a huge snow storm came through and snowed us in/shut down the resort, she offered us to stay another night or a late check out so that we can truly enjoy the vacation. We weren’t able to stay another night due to work, but we TOTALLY would’ve if we could.
Overall, the experience and stay exceeded our expectations and we’re already making plans for the summer!

Another amazing stay!
This was our third stay at this house while we visit our son attending the local community college. We feel safe here, extremely comfortable and love having a full functioning kitchen to prepare our meals. We enjoyed the games on hand, as well. The home was cozy during the coldest of temperatures outside. Miranda is always available for questions and ideas for activities. We already have our next visit booked!

This is a very cozy, comfortable home that was perfect for my needs. My stay was for several days and the cottage was a much superior experience than a motel room would have been. Loved it and will stay again.
