The first bedroom features 1 queen bed. The second bedroom features bunk beds (each full size) with LED lighting The entire cottage, including the huge outdoor kitchen area. The outdoor kitchen consists of a grill and sink. The fridge and the ice maker are not functioning. Margate is the best of everything the Jersey Shore has to offer! It is a community of beautiful beaches and dramatic bay views. Margate is perfect for those who want to enjoy a small town lifestyle with access to big city nightlife. Its sense of community shines through its stunning mix of new homes and those which have stood along the tree and fountain-lined streets for over 100 years. Margate boasts numerous places to worship, shop and play; including a tree-lined walkable business district filled with restaurants, cafes and boutique shops offering a variety of eclectic wares and mouth-watering flavor profiles. Our waterfront boasts some of the most stunning sunsets along the Jersey Shore and there are many draws for those who enjoy watersports, including paddle-boarding, jet skiing, fishing and boating. After a day on the water, enjoy a meal on the waterfront at one of our many restaurants which feature fare from casual to meals that will satisfy the most select palate. Margate has many opportunities for the vacationer looking to be in the middle of everything. After you have seen our National Historic Landmark, the famed Lucy the Elephant, join the nature lovers birdwatching in the nearby marsh areas or travel to our neighboring communities like Atlantic City where the opportunities for date night include comedy shows, concerts and casinos. Margate hosts the largest beach party at the Jersey Shore every summer, Beachstock. -There is another house on the property. The outdoor shower is shared. Please note that the backyard is adjacent to other rentals, so you will likely see other visitors while you're enjoying the outdoors. We very much enjoyed our stay in this clean, adorable cottage. We would definitely be interested in staying again, it’s the perfect size and has all of the amenities you would want in a beach house, walking distance to all the great margate restaurants!

We had an amazing weekend away at this cute little gem in Margate! The listing was exactly as described and pictured, super comfortable and clean! The host was very helpful and always quick to respond. The unit came with more things than most VRBOs I have stayed in (kitchen condiments, coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) The outdoor area was so cute to hang out in too and very private. Like some other comments have mentioned, we did wish for a bit more privacy at night since the shades felt a bit sheer - but the unit is so tucked away that it wasn’t an issue. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again, we can’t stop talking about how much we enjoyed it!

This cottage was a small gem; beautifully furnished. We were 2 people, but it would easily accommodate a couple of our kids as well. The main living space was lovely - back bedroom with custom lighting and bunks was such a fun space that my dog and I chose to nap and read there. The patio + outdoor kitchen were great. There was no need to bring bedding, toiletries, cooking utensils, beach bikes - everything was there and of high quality. This location on a quiet street between the beach and bay could not be more convenient. Great restaurants abounded and the Margate beach (in mid-September) was beautiful. Also, this is very close to OC, AC, Avalon, ... The property is truly dog-friendly, and we visited nearby Malibu Dog beach every day. Nutshell: We would come back to this wonderful Margate cottage in a heartbeat ... our highest praise for the place and property managers!

The sweetest cottage. Great use of space and a really beautiful fenced in backyard. Good for a small family, clean, lots of towels, some toys and can fit a pack and play in the second bedroom. 5 min walk to steve and cookies.

Adorable Margate cottage. Very nicely updated and furnished with all the things you need and want. All the electronic conveniences - televisions in every room, outlets and charging ports in all spots. The outdoor kitchen was amazing. We were here in November so it wasn't something we used, but it look like it would be so wonderful in warmer seasons. Very cool to be within walking distance to bay (one block) and the ocean (approx. three blocks). The Atlantic Ocean is beautiful in all the seasons.
