The location is great, the room was clean, but the mattress was uncomfortable.

The location is excellent, the room was easy to access, and the amenities of this b&b are great. Everything was clean and tidy upon our arrival. The staff was excellent - very helpful, kind, and enthusiastic about our stay.

The bed itself was pretty uncomfortable, to the point where my partner and I had both had trouble sleeping all night. The wifi was pretty bad in our room - we had trouble using it at all. Overall our room was quite nice, but the fact that there wasn't a bathroom door was a bit strange and definitely leaves something to be desired in terms of privacy. The room also wasn't particularly quiet. We could hear other guests shouting and running up and down the hallways on either side of the room most of the night and morning (presumably children). None of these things were particularly dealbreakers for us, but took away slightly from the overall experience of the b&b.

Best value in Key West!

The breakfast was a good option to have—there are excellent breakfast options in Key West, but often our group wasn’t all ready to go at the same time, so earlier risers needed a little something to tide them over. Cereal, bananas, oranges, a variety of breads for toasting, hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea, filtered water, and breakfast sandwiches were there! The staff was welcoming and helpful, replenishing towels, making up our beds, tidying the bathroom, and sweeping our floor as needed. We loved the location (close to everything but on a quiet street), the small pool was super fun and we met some great guests while swimming, and the whole property has such a great vibe. It’s affordable, comfortable, and has everything anyone needs! We even had a dog friendly room so our pooch could vacation with us! Every room has its own exterior door, and there are tables and chairs outside the rooms and all over the property, including under a covered patio area for rainy days. Roosters and chickens and cats and iguanas hang around, coming and going as they like (and as they do all over the island). Courtney’s Place has bikes for rent, a small parking lot, and the staff can help you make any reservations you need. They even let you take pool towels off property—we did this while visiting Dry Tortugas NP on a day trip and while on a couple snorkeling trips, and we were grateful we didn’t have to buy beach towels. It was an overall stellar experience, and we’ll stay there again if we visit Key West in future.

Loved our stay! Would enjoy returning!

Clean rom and bathroom with room cleaned/fresh towels daily. I loved the attractive, green and peaceful courtyard and sweet little pool.. pleasant back courtyard for eating breakfast...the well-stocked complementary continental breakfasts... the central location amid interesting local architecture/houses, enjoyed meeting the friendly family who own Courtney's and the help as needed from friendly and helpful staff member Debbie.

Would like hotter shower water.. a staff member smoked one morning in the breakfast courtyard...unpleasant odor.

Amazing.

We absolutely loved our stay! So quaint, so friendly and such a fantastic location! Loved being in our own little building. The PERFECT place, we will be back soon!!

We had a fabulous time and would definitely recommend staying here and I will definitely be back!

The location was outstanding.. we could walk everywhere on the island as it is centrally located.. The continental breakfast that was included was a life saver - we ate on the patio every morning and enjoyed the Roosters/chickens. The room itself was very quaint and charming.. beds were comfortable and the staff came daily to straighten the room and leave fresh linens.

the only thing I may suggest is an extra mirror in the room somewhere (in place of a picture) - there were 3 of us in the room and it was a little tough getting ready daily..

I loved this place and would stay here again.

The location is perfect to get to the shopping, restaurants, fun. We parked our car at Courtney's and walked to everything. The room was very comfortable and clean.

The roosters in the morning. I know they can't do anything about them but there is no way you're going to sleep in.

Courtney’s place is where I stay when I come to Key West and I tell all my friends

I have stayed here before. Same exceptional experience. Close to everything. Huge room. Nice old AC. Many nice places about the property to sit and relax. Breakfast is a bonus. Staff I spoke to was very friendly and offered places to eat and drink and had discount coupons. Allowed me to leave my car a few hours after checkout. Very clean!

Not much you can do but that rooster that wakes you up before sunlight :(

It was expensive for what it was. I get it, it is Key West but the prices have gone to the ridiculous. This is a $250 a night place not a $450 one.
