Situated in Seville, this charming house for $670 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Our atmospheric and beautiful house has undergone a full and loving restoration. Located in the centre of 'La Juderia' on one of the most evocative and prettiest streets of Barrio Santa Cruz. Our house is perfectly positioned in the absolute heart of historic Sevilla, as well as five bedrooms and four bathrooms, the house also offers; a gorgeous roof terrace with a seating area, outside shower and bar; a very private jacuzzi in the ground floor 'patinillo'; generous and stylish living space with huge, comfy sofas, a smart TV and wood burning stove; fully equipped kitchen; wifi and air conditioning / heating in every room. It is the perfect place to bring friends and family together to enjoy all that beautiful Seville has to offer. We fell in love with this 500 year old house the very first moment that we stepped through the front door! 'La Verdecita' has a calm, peaceful atmosphere as well as very classical architectural structure and proportions. Wide solid 'muros' and a central patio or courtyard are typical of homes in this barrio during the Middle Ages. GROUND FLOOR; Open plan living space. Central courtyard dining area. Large sitting room / TV room with 'smart' TV, DVD player and wood burning stove. Fully equipped kitchen. Rest room / toilet. The 'Susana' bedroom. Double bed (135cm x 190cm.) and an en-suite shower room. Private patio with wooden hot tub / jacuzzi. FIRST FLOOR The 'Reyes' bedroom. King size bed (150cm x 200cm.) with en-suite bathroom. The restoration of the building has taken a year. We have tried to respect the heritage and conserve the spirit of this historic and unique house. We have sourced appropriate materials, commissioned furniture and put our heart and soul into creating a comfortable home fro home. We have searched for special pieces of furniture; mixing antique and modern pieces. The beds are comfy, there are crispy cotton sheets, hypoallergenic bedding and fluffy towels. la Verdecita is perfectly appointed and positioned to discover all the magic that Seville has to offer with your friends and family. The ground floor is entered around the glass roofed patio which creates a light, airy and generous space. There is a huge dining table, perfect for a large dinner or slow and lazy breakfasts. The sitting room is comfortable and spacious with enough to everyone to relax. There is also a smart TV, DVD player and a wood burning stove. We have a fully equipped kitchen with an extra large Smeg oven, a dishwasher and everything you need to cook a large celebratory meal. there is a utility area with a washing machine. The 'Susana' bedroom is just off the covered courtyard. This cool and comfortable room has the original high, wood beamed ceilings as well as tiled and panelled walls. There is a double bed and an en-suite shower room. The private downstairs patio houses the wooden hot tub / jacuzzi. There is also a handy, separate toilet / restroom. Stairs leading to the first floor. The first floor has four bedrooms. 'Reyes', the principal bedroom, king size bed (150cm x 200cm) with an en-suite bathroom (copper bath tub, hand held shower, toilet, basin bidet). This bedroom has a huge antique door as a headboard and two floor to ceiling windows leading on to juilet balconies that look on to Calle Verde. Original, re-purposed double doors lead into the spacious bathroom with an exposed brick wall, soft lighting and a deep, luxurious and comfortable copper tub. The 'Maria' bedroom has a king size bed (150cm x 200cm) and an en-suite shower room. This airy bedroom has a high ceiling and an original beamed ceiling. Both the bedroom and the shower room are decorated with handmade tiles in soft, subtle colours. It is a particularly quiet and peaceful room with a window overlooking the inner courtyard. The 'Esperanza' bedroom, two single beds (90cm x 200cm). This cosy and welcoming room has antique shutters on the wall, and a floor to ceiling double window leading to a balcony with a view over Calle Verde. The 'Rocio' bedroom, king size bed (150m x 200cm). This calm, lovely and simple room has original exposed bricks, ceiling and beams as well as a very beautiful antique armoire. The shared shower room. A huge walk in double shower with two generous brass showers. Toilet, bidet and basin. Stairs leading to the roof terrace. The roof terrace is great for relaxing. There is ample seating, a shaded area, an out door shower and a little bar area with a sink, fridge and dishwasher, perfect for preparing refreshments!
