Well appointed furnishings, brand new bathrooms and hardwood floors throughout the house. The enclosed porch is the perfect spot to start your day with that first cup of coffee. Send the kids out back to play in Teddy Bear Park, just steps away. You won't ever want to leave ADK Mountain House! We were 11 people for a family Christmas gathering and everyone loved the house! The kitchen worked great for big meals and the layout was ideal for our big group. We walked to great restaurants, shops, ice skating, and Olympic sites. Tom was great to work with. Can’t wait to come back!!

The location was terrific, one block from Main Street and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. With a playground literally outside the back door, it couldn’t have been better situated for our family. The spaciousness of the house was incredible and responsiveness of the hosts absolutely top-notch!

Loved this house! Big, accommodating and close to town! Can walk everywhere is is awesome. The playground out back was a huge plus too for the kids! 2 ovens and fridge also a huge plus! Was able to make 5 pizzas easily! Host was super communicative and available if needed. Great property overall!

Great home for our party of 8, could have hosted plenty more. Easy walk into town and enjoyed all lake placid has to offer. We skied, skated, snowshoed, and snowmobiled. Great host with good recommendations for dinners and activities.

The property manage was terrific. He responded immediately to all our needs. The house is magnificent with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and two of everything - frig, dishwasher, coffee pots, toasters, washers & dryers. It is just as pictured on the website. Easily walking distance to the Main Street. Definitely recommend the rental. We’ll be back.

The location could not be beat for this property. It is a short walk from Lake Mirror main street. It is a really huge house that can accommodate a fairly large group easily. We stayed with a group of friends and there was no lack of space to spread around and still keep kids out of our hair. There are enough games for kids to keep them occupied even when they are not able to go out due to bad weather.
Host is easy to reach out to and responds promptly. The only thing our group wished was for more comfortable furniture. It was not broken or very old but not very comfortable to spend any amount of extended time on it.

We loved the location of this property and the fact that it could hold our whole family for a get together. Our only major complaint was that the living room furniture wasn’t very comfortable for sitting around and hanging out in.

We had a college reunion party of 14 adults. We used all the bedrooms, but please note that one bedroom (on the 3rd floor) does not have a door as it is more of a wide open area with beds in it. This house is a great location to the village of Lake Placid. Easy to walk to the village and also around Mirror Lake. The kitchen is fully stocked for your convenience-dishes, glasses, utensils, fridge space, pots & pans. We did have an issue with 1 AC unit-the owner was quick to respond but was not able to get it working. We were out during the day, so it did not affect us much. Everyone was comfortable in the beds, all linens, towels, & pillows are provided. Lots of space for lots of people! We rode the gondola to the top of White Face mountain one day and rented a pontoon boat for an afternoon ride around Lake Placid the other day. Beautiful area, so much to do & enjoy.

This house is perfect for large group, especially families with children. Easy walk to downtown area, which is so handy. There is a playground in backyard, which is great for little kids to get out and burn energy. Large grass area to play yard games. Love the house and Thomas was excellent to work with. I highly recommend this house!

Family wedding
The house is wonderful with plenty of wide-open spaces for family groups to gather and quiet spaces for those who want to read a book or relax. Having two of every appliance make cooking a breeze and allowed for plenty of storage of perishables. I truly can't say enough about this property. Great location to walk to downtown and the kiddie park in the back is great if you have young ones. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home !
We had a lovely stay ! Enjoyed our Memorial Day weekend here with 4 other families.. The property had more than enough beds for our large group. Mirror lake and all shops and restaurants were a 5 minute walk and couldn't have been more convenient I can't recommend this place enough for a quiet getaway. Tom Roth was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and accommodative.

Location matters
This was a wonderful place. 1 block from town but you felt like you were in a local neighborhood which we enjoyed. Walkable to everything you want to do in the town of Lake Placid. Great starting point to all the hikes, swimming , paddling you would want. Tom was a wonderful host. Responded instantly to any questions although the house is well equipped and we didn’t need much. Lots of room to hang out and enjoy. Will definitely come back.

Rented here to celebrate Memorial Day in the ADK’s. The house was clean, spacious and right in the heart of Lake Placid. The appliances were new and there were two of everything. Not only did it have the space but it had the amenities for a large group. I highly recommend this house!

Perfect Location
The house is located just a few minutes' walk from the Main Street in Lake Placid and 15 min away from Whiteface Mountain. Families with small children will appreciate having a playground literally in the back yard of the house. There are plenty of rooms for a large family or a group of friends. Some of us had to share a bathroom but this was not a problem. We appreciated dual appliances (fridges, dishwashers, stoves, microwaves, washers and dryers). The house has been completely renovated with lots of reclaimed wood and metal that gives it a modern feel. Tom is a great host, very responsive and accommodating. We hope to be back soon!

Great House, Great Hosts!
We stayed at this Property for a week between Christmas and New Years day. The location of the property is amazing, such a short walk into town, made life so much easier. The house is HUGE, we hada group of 12 and we did not use half the rooms in the house, it was that big. Finally the Hosts Emily and Tom went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. They were prompt to answer any questions we have and provided us some tubes to use when we short. They also sent us a firepit when we merely asked us about having a fire on the property. We are already planning our return trip back.
