Nestled in Kitty Hawk, this charming cottage for $341 per night is a great choice for your next break. Ocean View and direct access to a beautiful, wide neighborhood beach right across the beach road. No cottages on the oceanfront to block views nor access. With no public parking in the area this beach is primarily for locals so pack your umbrella and head on over! Lifeguard stand is about 100 yards from our front yard and they patrol regularly for your safety. Give us FIVE! We want you to feel right at home at Waterview Two and we will work to make it happen. We are looking for the highest rating possible and want you to return to our beautiful beach home year after year. Description/Amenities You can hear those crashing waves as you sit on the deck with your morning coffee or your evening cocktails. Direct access to the beautiful wide beach makes this fantastic semi-oceanfront home the perfect choice for couples and families of nine or less. Beach access is right across the street and there are no houses between Waterview Two and the ocean. Sit on the front deck rockers or swing and enjoy breezes from the Atlantic Ocean! When you open the door, the beachy furnishings and decor will make you smile. In the the lovely living room/kitchen area you can relax with views of the beach from its large picture windows or dine at the large farm table. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs, each decorated beautifully in beach/nautical themes. An optional fourth bedroom is downstairs along with an enclosed outdoor shower, spacious laundry room, storage and parking. Ground Level: Parking for 4 cars, Enclosed outside shower, covered deck, access to beach just feet away across beach road with crosswalk for safety. Laundry and secure storage is on the ground floor, also covered sitting area. Main Level: Beachy keen! Waterview Two cheery decor will keep your spirits high. Open plan kitchen and living areas with high speed internet & cable, 50" smart TV, Blu-Ray player and ocean views. Gather the family for lively breakfasts around the lazy susan dining table. Kitchen conveniences are all there with range, microwave, and fridge with icemaker. No dishpan hands! Enjoy the dishwasher. Retire in comfort after each full vacation day. 3 Bedrooms upstairs: Master with Queen, TV and full bath, another Queen, another with full-sized bed & bunk beds, full hall bath, covered porches front and back. Watch the sun rise of the Atlantic from the front and set to the west in the back. Features include: Central AC/Heat, Washer/Dryer, dishwasher, microwave, 2 TVs, Blu-ray play, ceiling fans in every room, and deck furniture. Rents Saturday to Saturday. About linens: We want your vacation to be as pleasant and convenient as possible. Linens are always a question and different owners handle it in different ways. We provide sheets and bath towels. *IF* you decide to use them, you agree to wash, fold and return them to where you found them. Otherwise there is a $100 laundry fee. BRING YOUR OWN BEACH TOWELS! You are welcome to bring your own linens or rent from the OBX linen companies as well.

We had a wonderful time here. Solid kitchen stocked with most of the basics, all the bedrooms were nice and everything felt as advertised. All instructions were fair, clear, and easy to follow. The host was very communicative and checked in twice which was nice. Location was obviously a huge plus. Would recommend!!

My husband and I, our dogs and two of our friends had such a good time at this house. The backyard area is perfect for the dogs to run a little and go to the bathroom. You can’t beat the location to the beach. Right across the street with no houses in front. Very private beach location. It could have also been the time of year we went but the beach was so quiet where we were which is awesome. The contact with the owner Mark was excellent. Very fast replies and such a nice guy. I would definitely stay here again. If you are looking for a house that is pet friendly, well maintained and close to the beach this is the place for you! ☺️

The location was perfect and the dog run worked out great for our 2 goldens. The home was super clean upon our arrival and the kitchen was much better equiped than any other beach house we've stayed in. We enjoyed this house so much and will plan to stay here again.

Waterview Two is located only steps from the beach and only minutes from not only Kitty Hawk attractions but has easy access to both north and south OBX. We loved the open layout of the front room with kitchen which opened to the large front porch with swing and a tall table and chairs. The bedrooms were more than adequate in size and had a main bedroom with a separate bathroom which was much appreciated by me and my wife. The dog friendly property has a fenced in area making it easy for late night or early morning outings. We also loved the extra hang out area by the fenced in yard with another table and chairs. The outside shower is huge and has plenty of room to store all of your beaching needs. Very large and fun laundry room as well. I would highly recommend this property as it was clean and well stocked. The check-in and out process couldn't have been easier. It felt like home right away and the communication with the owners was great. Thank you to Mark, Skip and the entire Hall family for letting me and my family share in their OBX getaway!

This was our first Vrbo experience so my review is targeted more to first timers. We wanted a place close to the beach that could accommodate our small family of four and dog. We liked the cleanliness factor of the house plus the location literally cannot be beat, it has supermarkets, restaurants and shops mins away but also a relatively private portion of a public beach because there’s no parking near the beach access so it was overall an awesome trip. From a doggie perspective, we really appreciated his attention to detail there with a clean and sandy poop section of the backyard, including supplied poop bags. My most favorite part was wrap around upper deck all gated so I could sit on the porch and listen to waves without having to worry about my dog getting out, dog loved the free reigns of having the full deck to walk and explore. We also really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, he even has Tupperware, which is great because we found we enjoyed cooking in more than going out. Before coming, we worried about the busy road in front of the house and there are busy and quiet portions of the day, most of the time we didn’t feel like it was busy because we were at the beach during the busy times, and almost all of the cars stop at the beach access cross walk right in front of the house. Thank you Mark for a great experience, we will definitely book again!

good location and access to beach directly across the road. With no parking on Va. Dare Trail the beach is pretty much private to local residents only. Property does have a nice fenced in dog or pet area even though there is no gates so pets will need supervision.

3 family households (small total of 5 + the dog) came together to celebrate the holiday by escaping the madness. It was awesome! House was clean and comfortable and owners were kind and responsive. We enjoyed our start at Waterview Two! It's conveniently located so to the beach so it was nice to have quick access and be able to hear the crashing waves from the front porch! The kitchen was also fully stocked, which was very helpful for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Looking forward to returning sometime soon!

This was our 2nd year vacationing at this jewel of a home on the Kitty Hawk beach. We also bring our dogs for fun runs on the beach and because even the puppies deserve a vacation!
Mark is a perfect host and the property couldn't be cuter or more comfortable. We're already planning for next October.
Check out the great restaurants and shopping. Grocery stores very close by if you want to cook in. We're not into fishing but saw quite a few great catches if you are. Super nice having sheets & towels on hand so we don't have to bring our own.
I can't say enough good things about this home. Please check it out with your kids whether two or four legged!

We had such a great time we stayed for an extra night! We can’t say enough for Mark - he was extremely helpful and responsive and the best owner we’ve dealt with through all of our VRBO trips. Absolutely beautiful. Sleeps at least 10. Plenty of outdoor space and comfy seating. Nice outdoor shower, seating and grill. Right across from entrance to beach. You can see n hear the waves from the front porch!

Loved the location, awesome outside shower. I never showered inside.the sunrise sitting on the porch drinking our coffee was amazing. Very clean but wish it came with sheets and towels, but that’s a small optical we can over look. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Coming back next year. Yay!!

My family and I had a great stay at Waterview Two! The location was perfect, with beach access right across the street. The house itself was spacious and comfortable, but the real gem is the outdoor space: the outdoor shower was fantastic, and there were lots of places to sit outside and enjoy the ocean breeze and sound of the waves crashing. We particularly loved the front-porch swing. The hosts were gracious, easy to reach, and helpful. This was our favorite place we have stayed in several years of traveling to OBX!

Stayed at water view 2 for a week with my husband and some friends. We had a wonderful stay. I would recommend this property!
The house is only steps from the beach and is walkable to many restaurants and businesses. The kitchen is well equipped with tools needed to cook a meal.
The spare room has a separate entrance from the main door, so guests staying in this room will need to go outside to go between the room and all other parts of the house.
Pro tip for next stay: I will bring my own sheets so we don’t have to sit and wait for them to finish in the wash and dryer to fold before leaving

This house was everything we wanted for our OBX vacation. A classic beach box that reminded me of the houses I stayed in growing up visiting the crystal coast of NC. Working with Mark was a breeze! He is so polite and responsive. The house has nice beachy decor and is a cozy, clean, very well-appointed "beach box" home. The location is great, lots of cool local hang out spots (hello Black Pelican!), it's a short drive to Duck and Corolla...and the beach is right there! The steps to the beach are to the right, as well as access to the left. You can see the sun rise every day; we even watched the Strawberry Moon come up. The front porch is large and we spent nice evenings just hanging out. There's a grill, shower, full wrap-around porch, and dog potty area. We loved the kitchen accessories and did quite a bit of cooking in. You really don't need anything kitchen-wise. My only (and I cringe even writing this word) complaint was the noise from the traffic. Other reviews said traffic wasn't bad, but I found it loud at times and busy. That is not a reflection on the home or host (again, both fabulous). But, you're on 12 so yes, there's going to be traffic. The beach is right in front of you, no other homes obscuring the views. Mark also gave tremendous recommendations, which was a bonus!

Great House, Great Location and Dog Friendly
Waterview Two is a great little beach house. I mean it’s not that little, it does have 4 good size bedrooms. The master is exceptionally large for a beach cottage and it has a good size master bath. The deck which is covered goes 3/4 of the way around the house and has both front and back steps. The owners have gone out of their way to make your 4-legged family members comfortable there as well. This Kitty Hawk home is perfect for the pups. The house was clean and inviting. I was also easily able to communicate by text with the property owner during our entire stay if there were any issues, which there were none and he was ever so gracious. I highly recommend Waterview Two if you’re looking for that perfect beach box on Beach Rd. just seconds from the sand.

Owner was great to communicate with. Answered all questions with a lot of good suggestions. Only thing missing were extra garbage bags, cooking spices, sugar or sweetener, more than one roll of toilet paper, some beach chairs and beach toys.

Fantastic Start to our OBX Vacation
Mark was a fantastic host. He has a great home, almost as close as you can get to the beach! We started our OBX Vacation there for a couple days before extended family made their way out. The house was great for a young family of 5 - all one level, close to the beach, clean and stayed nice and cool!
Can't wait to visit again, and appreciate Mark and his family opening their home to us!
