About this house rental

Situated in Big Bear, this lovely house for $175 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This 2-bedroom, 1-bath single-level 925 sq. ft. cabin in the beautiful Fox Farm area offers tranquil mountain living and easy access to all that Big Bear has to offer, just minutes to shopping, restaurants, lake, hiking, 2 1/2 miles to ski slopes, and a half-mile to Snow Play (snow tubing in winter, go-carts and ropes course in summer). The cabin’s mid-century design includes an open floor plan for living area and kitchen, a vaulted ceiling with lots of natural light, and a large deck complete with barbecue, dining table and outdoor seating. Each of the two bedrooms has one bed that sleeps two (a double bed in front bedroom, a queen-sized bed in back bedroom). There is also a futon mattress rolled up in back bedroom closet for use as well. The living room has a gas fireplace, and there is a stackable washer/dryer unit in the bath. The cabin has undergone recent remodeling with fresh paint, new wood flooring and furnishings. The beds both have new mattresses that are quite firm, especially when you first sit or lie on them, but they are composed with memory foam / gel technology so that they gradually soften and mold around the body. Fully equipped kitchen, all linens and towels provided, and free Wi-Fi. Come and enjoy this lovely retreat in the beautiful area of Big Bear.

This cabin resides in a corner of the forest in Big Bear. Conveniently located on a cul-de-sac as well. No noise, just peace and quiet. I highly recommend this place, it was perfect. We will defiantly return again for a 4th visit. :)

My husband, daughter, and I had an absolutely amazing time. Paula was so quick to respond to messages and gave all the information needed for our trip. The cabin was the perfect size, was clean, and had everything we needed. The backyard was absolutely amazing and perfect for sledding. We thought about going to the tubing park down the street, but the backyard was so much more fun! So many sleds to chose from and the hills were a blast. Perfect location! We will definitely be back!

What an adorable cabin in Big Bear! Tucked away in a little cul-de-sac and close to skiing and downtown. Our family loved relaxing here with the cozy fire after a day at the mountain. Paula was amazing and very responsive to all my emails. We can’t wait to go back!

We loved this cabin. Lots of natural light in the living room, kitchen and dining room area. Vaulted ceiling in the main section of the cabin. The cabin was clean and well maintained. As mentioned in the description the mattresses are pretty firm, so plan accordingly. The owner, Paula was very nice. We would definitely like to stay here again.

I am so happy we chose to stay here-- it was so cozy, very clean, close to town/markets/restaurants and had a perfect yard for my kids to play in the snow. The host gave me all the information needed, up front and it was very easy. If you are arriving at night, it may be hard to locate because the neighborhood was dark-- but GPS was fine, we just had to double-check the picture to make sure we were at the correct house. There were some great board games we played as a family-- Big Bear Monopoly and Oregon Trail board game (which was AWESOME! and we were happy to share Oregon Trail with our kids..) The towels were soft, there was a washer/dryer indoors (used dryers for our gloves) . The beds were firm, but did soften as the description said-- but my husband is a tall guy, and of course our little one wanted to sleep with us, so we were not comfortable in a queen-- but if it's a couple in one bed, you will be fine. :) Kitchen was clean and had all utensils/cookware needed. If you are staying in the summer, there was a lovely patio off the dining area/kitchen that seems lovely to use.

Great location, close to shops and restaurants. Tons of snow and we didn't have to leave for the kiddos to play, they could play right in the back of the cabin. Only issue was there was a lot of dog hair on the area rug and we found a few sunflower seeds on the floor (we have a baby who crawls). But great location, cute little cabin. Would stay there again!

We loved this house. Great location in beautiful area. We had a problem with the heat, but the owner was very prompt with response and very apologetic. She handled it like a pro. We would love to come back and stay there again.
