Wir haben jede Sekunde genossen! Die Gastgeber sind so herzlich, nett und hilfsbereit! Wir bekamen sehr viele Infos, die Zimmer waren schön und geräumig, es gab warmes Wasser im Badezimmer und eine Küche zur freien Verfügung. Wir bekamen ein riesiges, leckeres Frühstück zur gewünschten Zeit. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen, um die liebe Familie wieder zu besuchen, die sich so gut um uns gekümmert hat!

Der Aufenthalt ist schwer in Worte zu fassen: Angefangen von Ajith und seiner Frau Pria, die die geborenen Gastgebern sind, bis hin zur Unterkunft, in der man sich sofort wie zuhause fühlt. Wir waren überwältigt von der Gastfreundschaft und den hilfreichen Tipps für Unternehmungen (Teefabrik!). Auch das Frühstück ist super reichhaltig und lecker und in der angrenzenden Küche kann man sich jederzeit selbst versorgen oder Tee kochen.
Die Unterkunft ist mit dem Bus und der Abkürzung sehr gut zu erreichen und auch Ajith hat uns sooft er in die Stadt fuhr mitgenommen.
Auch, dass er geholfen hat, als ein Kleidungsstück in der Reinigung verloren ging, vielen Dank Ajith!
Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Without question our favourite homestay in Sri Lanka. Ajith and Priya are amazing hosts and we will undoubtedly stay again if we ever return to Nuwara Eliya.
Ajith is fantastic at helping to plan your itinerary and explaining the history of the town. He picked us up from the train station, dropped us off, helped us arrange transport to Horton Plains and personally took us to Ramboda Falls and the tea factories. All transport was priced very fairly and with the benefit of Ajith’s expert knowledge. Breakfast was also delicious. The WiFi is good (not great) but expected given you’re 2000m above sea level. The room itself is cosy, comfortable and comes with countless blankets. There is also a shared living / dining space for the two guest rooms in the building. And there’s also an outdoor seating area which is lovely to enjoy in the morning when the sun is out
Overall this was a fantastic stay. Please choose this warm, family home and not an overpriced, soulless hotel instead

Wir waren 4 Nächte im Guesthouse. Die Familie verdient mehr als 10 Punkte. Neben dem reichhaltigen Frühstück und Abendessen (seine Frau Pria kochte sehr gut) gab Asjith uns wertvolle Tipps zur Erkundung von Nuwara Eliya. Er kümmerte sich perfekt um die Gäste. Ein Tagesttrip mit ihm zur Teefabrik Bluefields und zu einem Wasserfall waren wunderschön. Wir können das Guesthouse uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Ajith und seine Familie haben sich wunderbar um uns gekümmert. Ajith war super hilfsbereit und hat uns viele Dinge erklärt, gezeigt und organisiert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Wir waren 2 Nächte da. Man läuft ca. 30 Minuten bis zum Stadtzentrum oder 5 Minuten mit dem TukTuk.

noch nie so wunderschöne echte Blumen auf dem Nachttisch gesehen.
Im Haus gibt es zwei Zimmer direkt nebeneinander. Man teilt sich ein Wohnzimmer/Esszimmer, in dem auch das wunderbare Frühstück serviert wird und der Kamin bei Bedarf heizt.
Das Zentrum von Nuwara Elia ist einen 45 minütigen Spaziergang entfernt, mit dem Bus oder Tuk Tuk geht es natürlich schneller - für uns ausreichend schnell!

Ajith and his wife make you feel at home. The rooms are clean, with hot showers in the bathrooms. We recommend staying longer; we wish we had. Ajith helped us with a tuk-tuk and organized a budget-friendly safari at Yala National Park. Overall, it was an amazing experience for a reasonable price—simply awesome and excellent value.

Nice room, great bed and lot’s of blankets which is great since it can be very cold in Nuwara Eliya. Loved the hot shower. Host Ajith and his wife Prija are amazing, very caring and helpful. Helped me plan some nice activities. Unlimited tea, delicious dinner and breakfast.

This is a genuine homestay, clean and comfortable with great food. What makes AGP special are Ajith and his wife Priya. They cannot do enough for you and they are both very warm and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. Ajith picked us up from the train station, the following day he took us on a trip to a tea plantation, explaining everything of interest to us (he was previously a tour guide).On the final day, he drove us to our next destination, stopping off for sight seeing in Ella. We were sad to leave them.

The hosts are super kind, they help us to arrange a driver to bring the car to ella, so we can take the train. Also explained to us main spots to visit and good restaurant suggestions. Very good breakfast. Also they have blankets for the cold nights

De locatie is perfect als je een natuurliefhebber bent. Je kunt een mooie wandeling maken tussen de thee velden. Wij hebben een lekkere maaltijd gehad bij “the kitchen” een tentje zo’n 10-15 min lopen naar de grote straat ,onwijs vriendelijk personeel. De locatie ligt zo’n 4 km van het centrum af maar je kunt via het mooie Gregory lake een prachtige wandeling maken naar centrum toe. De eigenaar is van oudsher een tour guide en kan je veel vertellen over de streek en heeft veel kennis van zijn land en het telen van thee. Als je op tijd aangeeft iets van de omgeving wilt zien dan wordt je niet teleurgesteld. Ze zijn ook nog eens heel kundig over het gebruik van Ayurveda, en ze kunnen je veel tips en kennis verschaffen. Wij hebben een super experience bij AGP home gehad

Fantástico. Pasamos un día en Nuwara Eliya y Ajith fue nuestro guía. Es una persona muy cercana y paciente que nos explicó con mucho cariño la historia del te, nos recogió desde la estación y nos llevó a visitar las Tea Factory. La habitación está limpia y el desayuno delicioso. Muy recomendable todo, sobretodo l opción de coger a Ajith como guía para un día, merece mucho la pena, humilde y trabajador.

Ajith und Priya sind die perfekten Gastgeber. Das Zimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber, für die kühle Nacht gab es warme Decken, in einem gemütlichen Aufenthaltsraum gibt es sogar einen Kamin. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, sehr lecker und Priya bereitete uns vegane Optionen. Ajith hat ein großes Wissen über das Land und die Kultur, tolle Empfehlungen für Ausflüge und ein gutes Netzwerk für die Umsetzung.

Everything was perfect. This was our 6th stay here at AGP home, and it never gets old. Rooms were very clean, and due to the extreme weather we were given heaters to heat up our room too. Mr. Ajith and his wife provided everything we needed, and as always it was more than what we expected. There were several new additions to the property, and the newly added fire place was just what the place needed.

These are two guest rooms with a shared living room, so it's great for groups of 4.
Perfect and welcoming hosts, they helped us with everything we needed and the owner of the hostel even took us on a day trip to the waterfalls and tea fields in the area at an excellent price.

Very warm welcome by the owner who explained us everything about Nuwara Eliya. Nice place to stay, near Gregory Lake and 45 min walking distance from the city center. We appreciated very much the filtered water to reduce plastic pollution

Agid and his wife were exceptional hosts. Prior to arrival they ensured we had a means of getting to their Homestay. Agid took us to a tea plantation and a tour of a waterfall. Agid and his wife offered us dinner both nights of our stay which was amazing. Brilliant cooks. We loved our stay and would like to come back again in the future.

Comfy bed and pillows, clean bathroom with hot water, generous breakfast. I have the whole house to myself during my stay as Ajith (the owner) was making an extension to the guesthouse which he kindly let me know beforehand. I didn't mind as I know I will be out the whole day to do my tour. He suggested places to eat, (Dushan's Kitchen is a must try when you visit Nuwara Eliya), took me on tea factory tours, to Ramboda falls, and Single Tree Hill. We took our time and not once did I feel rushed so I enjoyed every minute of it.
The guesthouse is on a hill but just a 3 minutes walk to the main street through some stairs. Buses comes every 20 minutes and can take you to town in 15 minutes for 50 rupees.
Ajith and his wife were so kind and made my stay so pleasant! Will definitely stay here again!
