Dem Preis nicht angemessen und nicht empfehlenswert!

Die Lage der Unterkunft hat uns gefallen. Das war aber leider schon alles.

Das Interieur war alt und heruntergewohnt. Es gab diverse technische Defekte. In der Dusche hing eine Deckenlampe am Kabel herunter (gefährlich!), der Teppich war dreckig, abends roch es im Zimmer nach Bratfett aus der Küche und an einem Morgen hatten wir gar kein Wasser zum Duschen oder für die Toilette. Das Frühstücksbuffet war eine absolute Enttäuschung, u.a. nur eine Marmeladensorte und diese wie die Butter in Plastik abgepackt. Wir sind zwei Tage früher als geplant abgereist.

Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff!

Everything about the stay was perfect. The staff is friendly, from front desk all the way to the restuarant. Room was always perfectly cleaned. Everyone went above and beyond, I will definitely be back again! All shuttles were on time, to and fro and my locations.

A hit. Amanzi is a hotel I would love to return to over and over again.

The hotel is right by the water and offers a fantastic view of the ocean. It's clean and well maintained, with beautiful rooms and great facilities. Breakfast is quite good.

Overall a nice stay in a good location with really friendly staff that went out of their to make our stay great

Property was well located and clean. The staff were exceptional, friendly and attentive

The room was not up to the standard of a suite. It was neat and clean but the ceiling had work done poorly and looked untidy. The room also didn’t have a free standing shower but instead a bath with a shower attached. The continuous water cuts were also not ideal with a 2 month old baby

Great location but more suitable for summer!

Excellent location! A clean room, comfortable bed, and spacious bathroom

The room was not suitable for winter. The erratic power supply and inadequate heating made staying indoors quite an ordeal! Service was inconsistent as some of the staff were proactive, but others were unresponsive (e.g. getting the cable TV connection to work or replacing the shower head).

Ruhig gelegenes, modern eingerichtetes Haus mit freundlichem Personal

Sehr schönes, stylisches, helles Guesthouse direkt an der Lagune (Leisure Island) in Knysna. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider konnten wir die ganzen Möglichkeiten für Freizeitaktivitäten nicht nutzen, da wir uns noch Knysna selbst ansehen wollten und nur eine Nacht auf unserer Garden Route hier waren. Der Ortskern von Knysna ist rd 7Km entfernt. Entweder man nutzt den angebotenen Shuttleservice oder fährt selbst mit seinem Mietwagen. Abendessen waren wir in Knysna selbst, aber auch in der Unterkunft wird ein Diner angeboten. Muss man aber vorher anmelden und da wir nicht wussten, ob wir es zeitlich schaffen, haben wir uns dagegen entschieden.

Sehr gut

Super Unterkunft, tolle ruhige Lage. Das Personal war aussergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr gutes Frühstück! Auch die Zimmer sind super schön mit einem Blick direkt auf das Wasser!

Das Loadshedding hat man sehr gemerkt, da viele Steckdosen und das Licht nicht funktioniert hat

It is close to the beach, view fromy room ,friendly staff and they invested well for cold season. The warm surprise for my birthday ohh was in tears .It was indeed a great stay

The place Qasim so comfy and intimate. We felt very safe when we went cycling around the island during sunset

Very good

The location and the views are amazing. The building is beautiful. Very nice staff, good breakfast. Big generator free you from loashedding (power outages).

The double bed is a bit narrow. The hot water was limited, but we haven't had time to notify the issue to the reception before our checkout, so maybe it was a temporary problem.

Very good

We were stunned by the beautiful views directly opposite the hotel. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the professional staff and helped into our room very swiftly. Our room was neat and comfortable, i cannot complain about that. The beautiful garden that surrounded our bedroom was the perfect place to braai while my kid played in the garden.

As muslim travelers, our dietary guidelines are Halal and Halal meat only. The menu for breakfast as well as dinner was very limited and found only 2 things that could possibly cater for Halal. We ended up just eating from the yogurt and fruit buffet for breakfast. We hope that in the future there will be a wider variety of meats, including ones with Halal certification.

Superb

It is a beautiful place with lots of room and comfort and friendly staff. Hope to be back for a longer stay.

Dinner was not wonderful, but it was not over priced and with the good attitude is was still lovely. A suggestion is that perhaps somebody can wipe down the cars in the morning especially knowing that the person is on a business trip and I could hardly see through my windows due to the wetness and sun rising later. Even if you offer the service at an additional fee.

Area and cleanliness. Hospitable workers, amenities like bicycle was awesome to have.

The place was cold for breakfast and dinner, could do with heating for comfort. The food snell during cooking in the rooms, a better extraction system will be a good investment.

Location is excellent and views majestic. Everything was great from the staff to the food.

Provide a plug to use the hairdryer. It uses a very specific two point plug.

Amanzi will always be my favourite place to stay in Knysna!

View amazing, I loved my beautifully decorated room and all our meals were great, Promise, Fortune and all your team so friendly and helpful. Honestly, Amanzi is my home away from home! Reception always open and ready to assist also!

My only suggestion would be to have a small rechargeable lamp available in each room as sometimes the power cut bulb enabled normal lights by the bed did not function during power cuts. Solar power a good back up like we have here in Zim and quieter generators seem to be more prevalent these days also, possibly an option also.

The team were amazing and facilitated our lovely stay

we booked into the dolphin suite, which had amazing views of the lagoon.

the facility will benefit more in having porter service. we had to drag our luggage from the vehicle to the reception area without any assistance from the property

Location and views were superb

Cold showers .. seemed to coincide when full. We were there for 5 nights, 2 of which resulted in cold showers and considering this is one if the more expensive places on the lagoon I would have expected no cold showers

Beautiful view in a delightfully cosy suite and excellent staff

Breakfasts were great! The view from the room is amazing exceptional and quite possibly one of the loveliest I’ve ever experienced. The staff is incredible, professional, friendly and quick to help. The eating area is also great and very comfortable. Only issue I had was the wifi signal strength.

The only issue I had was the wifi signal strength. They could expand their menu more to offer a few vegan options and ask if one would like non dairy products in the room. An inverter system to keep the lights running during load shedding would also be a nice touch.
