Beautiful cottage experience!

Place was very clean. Gated property offered a nice sense of security. Kitchen was conveniently well stocked (including bottled water and eggs from the chickens). Wifi was reliable. Heated toilet with bidet functions was also nice. The premises was beautiful - enjoyed every morning going out with a cup of coffee to watch the hummingbirds visit the gardens, greet the cat and chickens, and relax on the tree swing. Would definitely stay again if ever visiting Santa Rosa!

I found the pillows to be slightly uncomfortable (either too flat or too thick). There's a small window without curtains above the bed, which doesn't offer much sense of privacy.

Superb

The cottage was a pretty, efficient, compact place. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and easy access to town where we attended a big festival. The place was well stocked with kitchen items and had a washer/dryer.

Magical cottage, zero hassle, wonderful experience by any measurements!

Lisa's property is a gem, if anything the description and service don't give you the full picture of the amazing property. The setting is idyllic, set way back on a large lot, very very quiet. Owners meet you on arrival the explain everything--including dealing with the electronics and appliances--which often present an annoying challenge. The process of booking, confirmations, arrival instructions and follow up were the best we've ever experienced...and we do a lot of travelling. Kudos to the owners for above and they do everything with an amazing attitude. Can't wait to visit here again.

Can be a little challenging to find the entrance at night, follow your phone and it all works out.

A beauty and a catfish.

It is a nice location nestled away in the countryside near to wine country and the property is a beauty. The cottage has literally anything you need as it is fully furnished and clean. The bed is very comfortable and at night it is very quiet which is refreshing coming from a busy city.

Check in was unusual, and also I feel I was misled i.e "catfished" partly because the cottage is situated in front of a larger house. It is in no way by itself which is the impression that I got when I looked at the pictures. When we first arrived I used the code that was provided to me to access the gate and then from there I used my logic to make sense that the cottage was in front of the larger house. The host did not mention that the front door would be unlocked and the keys would be inside. My girlfriend and I were both a little lost but again using logic I allowed myself in and found the keys. Then the hosts husband came knocking on the door and he was not very friendly. I asked him about the Wi-Fi and he said there is no Wi-Fi and asked me didn't the booking provide that information. No it does not. In fact, the host seems to disguise that there is no Wi-Fi and that there is not much privacy either.

Disappointing

The location of the property was good and it was easy to find. The garden setting is very nice.

The blinds on the biggest window were broken and could not be opened. This was unfortunate as that window provided the nicest view. It also made the cottage feel very closed in. We told the owner and they said, "We know - everyone tells us that. We don't have time to fix it because it is always rented." The bed is VERY hard and made for very uncomfortable sleep. We would not stay here again.

A comfortable, romantic getaway in the California hills just outside Santa Rosa.

The cottage is on a farm, among rolling hills, viewing old oak trees. The landscaping around the cottage was beautiful, with flowers nestled among succulents--some of which were also blooming. The cottage itself was arranged for comfort and convenience, including a full kitchen and bathroom with bidet. There were fresh eggs in the fridge when we arrived.

Summer in inland California tends to be hot and dry. The weather during the day was hot, but cooled down in the evening.

Very nice, private cottage at reasonable price.

Beautiful grounds and very nicely appointed cottage. Liked the privacy and patio area to sit in the evening. Communication with the owner was good and selfcheck in easy.

Skylight above bed was a little bright early mornings. A remote shade covering for it or something similar would be nice.

We will be back. This property is an excellent reflection of the Sonoma region.

My daughter said she could easily live there. There is a pullout twin size sofa that converts to a bed on top of the very comfortable queen size bed. Eggs in the fridge (from the chickens in the coup?), butter, all the necessities for cooking, a stack washing machine/dryer in the bathroom. Skylights above the beds and a window running the length of the kitchen. You could just stay inside all day and feel very comfortable. As someone suggested, you should grocery shop at the Safeway just down aways before arriving. The place was immaculate and the hosts, Lisa and Jess, most gracious. The main house that faces diagonally to the rental, looks totally intriguing. My daughter was intent upon befriending the cat, which is part of the scenery, I was admiring their care of the yard and the property. Thank you.

Thank you Lisa and Jesse for the lovely space. We loved the little cottage.

We loved the quiet and privacy of the stay. We felt very comfortable and welcomed. It had everything we needed for our visit. We will definitely return!

Hard to find the property at night, but we managed. Dark driveway, and traffic was busy on the road.

Wine Cottage Extraordinaire

Beautiful location, darling cottage, looks brand new, Jess Lisa were wonderful hosts. Fresh eggs, fresh produce from their garden, fresh air. Saw wild turkeys, nice trees around property and he kept improving property with more foliage while there. We can’t say enough about the property and hosts. We will definitely be back.

Can't wait to return. Host were extremely personable and accommodating .

Our hosts provided us with fresh eggs every morning from their chickens that they raise and we made our own breakfast which was great. The location was perfect as it is central to all the neighboring wine growing areas and wineries. Quiet and peaceful.

We cannot wait to come back!

This place is a hidden gem! After staying in a nightmare Airbnb, we found this sweet location on the spur of the moment and it was like heaven. Perfectly situated on a hill, there are fruit trees, chickens, and the cutest cottage imaginable, a perfect size for two people. Lisa and Jesse were gracious hosts. The nights were cool and quiet, and the front porch was perfect for star gazing. We cannot wait to stay there again!
