Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen !!

Die Lage war sehr gut und das Frühstück ebenso. Der Pool war toll. Die Aussicht und Gartenanlage hervorragend !!!

Der vorhandene Tennisplatz war nicht gut.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft für Franschhoek

Sehr schöne Lage und der Blick auf die Weinberge. Sehr freundlich und komplett ausgestattet. Wir konnten tagsüber noch bleiben, da der Flug Verspätung hatte!

It may be a Franschoek thing, but we just didn’t feel any warmth or any kind of welcome. When asking about plug adapters it was like it was a bit of a convenience rather than any kind of eagerness to help.. breakfast staff were nice enough, but not huge choice

Highly Recommend!!

The location was excellent. The serenity, and the ambience is incredible. It provided us the space and time to relax and enjoy the beautiful Franschhoek. Management team Angela and Loryn were exceptional; they helped us book dining restaurants which also remained the highlight of our stay in Franschhoek. We will definitely consider our return stay here in Auberg Clermaont.

Definitely recommend. Try the Saturday morning market !!

Staff brilliant. Location super, breakfasts great Beautiful in the early morning mist too.

Didn’t realise room 1 had a room above it, and you could hear people going to the toilet. Also if they left the outside lights on, room 1 is quite light as a result.

Gorgeous, well-appointed rooms with heated flooring and HVAC. Amazing views too of the mountains. Breakfast was phenomenal.

It was cold when we were there so having all the doors open before we arrived just meant it took many hours in between load-shedding to get warm.

An ideal and safe setting for our travels in South Africa

We loved the safe location overlooking the vineyard with the mountain backdrop. The proximity to the town and surrounding vineyards and restaurants couldn’t have been better. The staff were friendly and could not have done more to assist us. Good value for money .

Maybe a dryer - but only because it wasn’t ideal weather for drying clothes.

The House and grounds are absolutely gorgeous, the rooms are exceptionally comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessities. There are many board game to play in front of the large fire place. The tennis court is well maintained and equipment well looked after.

A wood braai would be absolutely lovely instead of the gas braai but that is just a personal preference and nothing to be upset about.

Vineyard heaven

Stayed in the honeymoon suite. The tranquility and atmosphere of the vineyard was wonderful. Lovely people and great breakfasts. Eàsy stroll into the village. Our only disappointment was that we hadn't booked to stay longer...

Charming and quiet hotel in a lovely rural location within a short walk of the town.

Location was ideal for us. We knew the hotel was c15 mins walk from the town and this made it very peaceful. Beautiful views from our room. Great breakfast. Helpful, cheerful staff. Had a quick look at the villa, for possible future use with friends, and it looked excellent.

Given the good overall rating, the following are minor quibbles / ideas to help achieve excellence: - Room a little tired in terms of paintwork / maintenance (tho it could be argued that is also part of the hotel's charm). - Staff were great but can be difficult to find. Understandable given the relatively small size of the hotel but a means of attracting attention when there is no one at reception during the day would be helpful. - Given the location, an honesty bar would be a ideal, because sometimes one wants just a glass of fizz / wine / G&T before or after going into town. There are bottles in the fridge of course but opening, say, a full bottle of fizz just for the odd glass over the course of 3 or 4 days isn't that practical / desirable.

Tranquil haven

Really lovely location and very convenient for Franschhoek town centre which had a range of dining options - booking recommended. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant. The farm is a tranquil haven and there is more than a bit of character to the property. We booked the large (honeymoon) suite which was really lovely and very comfortable. Wonderful 3 night stay!

the location was absolutely stunning- waking up in the winery with the views of the mountain was wonderful. the breakfast was very homely and delicious and the staff were very helpful

there were no onsite food facilities which was a shame when you are a taxi ride away from town

The property is absolutely stunning. The rooms are big and decorated beautifully. The staff are so friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is so close to the town centre and lots of the vineyards.

A return visit for us…lovely warm and caring staff, comfortable room and good breakfasts.

Located in a vineyard with magnificent mountains enveloping and surrounding the property. In the country, but a very short, easy drive into the centre of Franschoek and exquisite neighbouring wine estates and restaurants.
