Comfortable and relaxing

great place to stay and Daylesford in the autumn is absolutely beautiful.

beautiful quaint cottage right in town but in a quiet street. the wine and chocolates were a nice touch on arrival. small but functional kitchen and good sized dining/lounge.

the only thing was no tissues, and that is the only negative.

this really was a beautiful place to stay . Upon arrival, the lights were on and air conditioning was on as it was a hot

very homely and welcoming , fantastic location walking distance to the Main Street . super clean and had everything we needed

Loved how cosy it felt and our dog felt right at home! also appreciated having the air con switched on on arrival :)

Lovely stay for me and my dog :)

Great location, very clean, lovely front garden to hang out in the afternoon (east-facing), excellent wifi, large bathroom with nice amenities.

Outdoor furniture could have been better/more comfortable. Kitchen amenities sufficient but basic. Bed could do with an upgrade.

Very comfortable cottage close to everything

Beautiful little house, comfortable and warm and well appointed, in easy walking distance to town or the lake. Heating was turned on in anticipation of our arrival, and included everything you need for a couple of nights, and even a lovely bottle of wine. Our big pooch loved the mats on the floor and the nice little fenced yard. Very comfortable indeed.

No breakfast supplied! Instructions & location of keysafe easy.

Softer bed! Perhaps some nuts, biscuits to have with the wine.

muddy car park out the front made it difficult to stay clean. some heaters didn’t work.

Very comfortable and homelike.

Space, fireplace, secure garden for dogs, short walk to Main Street, felt like our own home.

Bigger, more comfortable bath, prune the shrub away from the bedroom window, change light globes in hall to warm white.

Old charm with modern facilities in perfect location.

Old charm with modern facilities. Amazing location, walk to lake and cafe and shops. Dog friendly. Cool in the hot summer weather, can’t wait to go back in cooler weather to use the bath and fire place.

nice place just needs a little tlc , great location lovely town , vey welcoming people

location was excellent

front garden was very disappointing,seats were very uncomfortable great big plant pot filled with stagnant water in the middle of the garden, needed a good clean and tidy up ,veranda was filthy , could be a beautiful place to sit with a little effort , chipped cups and plates

We loved EVERYTHING, but if we had to find fault, it would be that the fridge door swung open in the wrong direction .

Warm cosy house, fire on when we arrived. Quiet area, comfortable bed with electric blanket, free wine on arrival, great location.

Shower was very weak, no pressure

Looks much better in photos than it is in person. Expensive for what it is. Shower terrible. Bath tiny. TV tiny.

Great location and host provided everything we needed. Well renovated and very clean. Will certainly recommend to family and friends.
