Super cool colorful house with comfortable rooms and beachfront access. The host family was so friendly and helpful! It felt more like a home instead of a hostel. So grateful for my stay there! There is a bakery nearby too where you can get delicious pastries every day and a coral reef where you can go and snorkel!

Good size room with double bed and everything you could need (including self contained kitchen with full cooking equipment/utensils/fridge) and towel provided. Friendly owner. Directly in front of the beach. Close to a couple of places to eat and on a road that taxis pass along frequently.
Extremely unreliable wifi, very uncomfortable pillows. Also no other guests so no chance of meeting other travellers (this could have been due to it being just before rainy season). I was just chilling for a few days here but if you’re looking to meet other people I would stay closer to downtown

It was a great location, right across the street from decent snorkeling and you could walk in either direction to get to quite a few food options, including a really good bakery to the left and to the right, a lady who has a shack on the side of the road who serves a great breakfast. The host was friendly and helpful and got our room ready early and watched our bags in between while we snorkeled. The room had a coffee maker that worked and the bathroom down the porch was really clean and had good water pressure. The view from the front top deck was lovely.
It was just kinda basic but was easy to come and go and what you pay for. It worked great for our 1 night before our flight back.

Such a nice place! It's a lovely family living downstairs. The house is pink! Nice balcony. View of the sea. I loved my stay there!

The beds are very comfortable and the location across the road from the beach is great. A short walk to restaurants and grocery stores. We did not use them but there was a fridge and a coffee maker in the room.

Arlene and her husband made me feel right at home! Very nice and welcoming. Walking distance to restaurants, great snorkeling spot you can swim to from the shore. One of the best beach on the island,Silver sand beach, is about 25mins walk from the property. Great value!

location and having an en suite
staff weren’t great, check in involved getting a key and being shown to my room, no conversation or anything about the island and then a knock at the door three days later asking for the key-that was check out…
the room also felt quite grimy/unclean, it was very hot and I was woken up by a cockerel every morning at 5am(!)

Arlene, her daughter and grandson Schneider were all so nice & helpful. the room was big and not too hot , had a fan. about 10 mins walk to seafood grill - we had breakfast and relaxed on beach by seafood grill for a few hours. 1 dollar each in a taxi took us to picnic beach for afternoon and sunset and to the boat next morning.

The people that own this are so unbelievably sweet, and my stay was so perfect. This is one of my new favorite little corners of the earth, I’ll remember my days here for a very long time and I hope to be back so soon.

Very warm and friendly hosts, very helpful and dedicated. The laundry service is great. We really liked the balcony and the kitchen facilities to make breakfast.
The WiFi doesn't reach the room and mobile internet in general is rather slow on this side of the island.

A very friendly family owns and hosts this rental. It gets a constant ocean breeze and is in walking distance to great restaurants.
room 2 doesn’t have a balcony but if you get one of the other rooms you’ll have a nice space to catch the ocean breeze.

oh it was amazing. the breeze from the ocean made it so you didn’t even need the fan. it was right near the best snorkeling and restaurants on the island. I can’t recommend enough

we loved this place, the room is so romantic and even had a little kitchen which is very usable on the island. We loved the fresh coconuts that grow in their garden!

The hosts! They are the most friendly and generous people, helped us out in any way possible. We had a really great and relaxing time on Corn Island and loved our stay at hotel ALAL.

We had a great stay. I think they gave us an upgrade because we had our own little kitchen which we didnt book, so that was nice. The people are very lovely and you are able to rent a bike with them so you can cycle around the island.

We absolutely loved staying here. Both the location and the hosts were superb. The ocean is right across the street, with a balcony to enjoy it from. Would definitely come back!
