Gorgeous cottage, very comfortable for our party of 5. Would highly recommend to family and friends.

The home was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Breakfast provisions were outstanding. Lovely comfortable beds and linen. Great communication with hosts.

This was one of the best weekends we have ever had in the Clare Valley and much of this was down to this superb cottage

it was very well set up with everything you need for a short or even longer stay. the views were amazing and all the food left for us was of the highest quality. the hosts have been very helpful in the lead up to our trip.

D2 at Watervale was the perfect place to stay for our visit to the Clare Valley.

The cottage is located in a picturesque and peaceful setting and is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. There were generous food provisions and a bottle of local sparkling was waiting on our arrival for our birthday celebrations. The sign at the front door welcoming the three of us was a thoughtful touch. We appreciated the log fire which kept the cottage warm during the crisp autumn nights.

There was nothing to fault.

one of the best places we have stayed at and would recommend it to all as a great destination in the Clare and close to

a beautiful country farmhouse in a picturesque setting overlooking the vineyards of the Clare Valley. Everything you needed was there in abundance and the hosts could not have been more helpful or generous.

Cute cottage you will never want to leave

Fantastic location. Near to towns and attractions but feels like you are millions of miles away when at the cottage. Great breakfast provisions, fantastic place to go for country walks, front verandah and rear gazebo area great places to enjoy a cuppa or glass of bubbly. After you visit once you will want to return.

This was a gorgeous property oozing with charm. The owners had skillfully blended the old with the new (including quality appliances and fittings) and had decorated in an eclectic, quirky but stylish manner. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with equipment and utensils and the breakfast provisions were generous and delicious. There were special thoughtful details throughout that made this property really stand out from the many others we have visited over the years. The property is secluded and peaceful, but still very accessible for all the Clare Valley has to offer. We were warm and comfortable (reverse-cycle heating in all the bedrooms and a wonderful combustion stove in the lounge) and would not hesitate to recommend the property.

Perfect weekend getaway and the stay way exceeded our expectations.

The cottage was absolutely gorgeous, perfect location, situated between vineyards, it was very secure, private and quiet. We LOVED the breakfast provision, extremely spoilt by the D2's generosity, wonderful home made pantry items and also local produces. Shower was fantastic; there were extra blankets for colder nights on the couch. Gorgeous outdoor area for cups of tea and enjoying the serenity. Our dog loved the house as much as we did too.

Superb

The property is set in a lovely garden with beautiful vistas across the vineyards. The location was a perfect base for touring around the Clare valley. We were 4 adults and 2 children and there was ample room for us all to spread out. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommended this cottage !! We certainly will be back again.

Perfect little place of piece and quiet.

Provided a great selection of ingredients for beautiful breakfast, with generous quantities.

A fantastic gem in Watervale - close to everything, yet quiet and private. We'll be back!

The location was great - close to everything, yet it felt like the middle of nowhere - perfect! The breakfast provisions were generous and substantial and it was great having bedding provided (not everywhere does that) - so we were able to pack and travel light. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The outdoor seating area was great (especially on Saturday when we put our feet up after a long day cycling) and had wonderful views. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and having 2 toilets was an added bonus.

Everything was great - there was nothing not to like. If I had to be really, really picky, I wasn't a fan of the pillows in the main bedroom - but that is a personal choice and my partner found them really comfy. It was great.

A rural paradise, far from the madding crowd.

Ample, generous breakfast provisions were left. Everything you might need was provided, and everything was beautifully done. We loved the old stone home and the well-cared for gardens in their idyllic vineyard setting. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The owners were also very helpful and friendly, and we felt fortunate to be able to stay in this wonderful old home.

Excellent supplies in the pantry/fridge. Nice and cosy cottage - very comfortable Every detail for a comfortable stay had been thought about by hosts.

Hot water ran out on the first day. We soon learnt to have shorter showers
