Clean and well-located homestay

Clean and well-located homestay in the middle of Dumaguete. The room was fine and clean; very good for the price you pay. There is free drinking water and a kitchen available if you want to use that. We rented a scooter for one day which was perfect to explore the surroundings. The Dumaguete Boulevard is nice to stroll around in the evenings.

Good value homestay

Spotlessly clean room. Fluffy towels, soft pillows and hot water. Equipped communal kichen with full sized fridge and drinking water supplied free. Great Vietnamese resto and cafe with excellent breakfast near 7/11all within 100m. Good wifi for working. Location was within 10 minutes walk to ferry terminal and town. Lovely hosts and would stay again.

Very well-kept gem hidden in the heart of Dumaguete.

Nick was an absolute delight. Very courteous and kind. Responsive and makes you feel very much at home. The place was squeaky clean, the rest of the staff are lovely.

The internet could use some upgrading.

We stayed two nights there. The bathroom was separated from the toilet and it was especially worth-mentioned.

The room was very comfortable and clean, and there is a nice balcony with two chairs and a table which makes my mom relax cozily.

The location was a bit away from the center but it’s still acceptable for us.

Excellent stay

Beautiful home in an excellent location in Dumaguete, only 10 min walk to main town and close to shops and restaurants nearby. Home owners are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are super spacious, beds are comfortable but ours was a bit squeaky (nothing major!). Showers are cool but not freezing, and it was refreshing during the hot weather anyway. Towels are provided but bring your own soap and shampoo. All in all a really good stay and we would highly recommend to others!

Really a nice and clean homestay. The people and especially Nico are really friendly and helpfull. Use of the kitchen is very comfortable and I had a very warm welcome on new years eve!! Room can be a little noise by the traffic, but the beds are really comfortable so not worry to much.

Feel at home

I love everything, the leaving, dining, kitchen ,bathroom, and the house so nice and the dog is cute 😍 Enjoying watching tv 😉 feel at home 😇

Pleasant clean stay

Very clean, Elaine is always cleaning. Room is spacious, bed is comfortable. 15-20 min walk to the centre, we like walking so it was a good location for us. There is a laundry service across the road which was great.

We opted for the budget room so our toilet was on a different floor, usually this would be fine, but didn't feel overly comfortable in the communal areas. Maybe a homestay isn't for us.

Value for money

It was close to the port (around 5 mins tricycle ride) and close to Daddy Don’s pizza (walking distance). It had a hot shower which was nice after a long day’s travel. Aircon was comfortable. there is a shared kitchen area which you are able to use. 7/11 is walking distance too if you need snacks or toiletries. We had access to our own private terrace which was nice.

Bathroom was a wet room so everything got wet including the toilet when taking a shower. I asked for additional towels and was told it was an extra charge initially but later on was told it would be no extra charge. A mini fridge in the room would have been nice so that we can keep water cool but there is a water cooler in the shared kitchen area.

Great homestay, if that is what you are looking for

The bed was very comfortable and the family was very kind.

This is not a hotel room~ its a room in someone's house and should be listed as a home stay. The street the house is on is very loud with traffic (I am a light sleeper).
