The location was excellent: beautiful and close to necessities while still quiet. The cost for the whole house was only a few hundred dollars more than a decent hotel room.

There was an odd smell we couldn't place. It wasn't overwhelming or bad. It was just odd. For a non-smoking property, there were cigarette butts everywhere outside.

This is location is perfect. We love the Townsend area. It is right along the walking/bike path that runs through town. The outdoor setup at Evergreen is very nice. The house is spacious and the refrigerator is amazing! It has a built-in Keurig machine.

For the amount we paid for this stay, the amenities were lacking. Basics are missing - like a simple broom and dustpan. A greater attention to detail needs to occur. The large clock in the living room needs batteries. An additional tank for the gas grill would have been nice as we ran out of propane during cooking. The lighting system is a bit sloppy and we couldn't figure out how to turn on the outdoor fan. Hence, the lack of a house handbook with instructions and details of the area would have been nice. The washer and dryer need to be serviced or replaced. I had to SIT ON the washer to get the spin cycle to work.
