Totally good and very new property.

Room look so new and bed was cozy and floor heater is good. Wifi is very fast.

Great little gem in Seoul

Excellent Location. Jonggak station is just a minute away. Multiple restaurants and cafes. Although the area can get very loud at nights, you don't hear a thing while in the rooms.

Bath towels were not provided. Just a lot of hand towels. No house keeping. So cleaning needs to be handled by the guest. Check out time is at 11.

清潔、快適、便利

駅から近く、明洞にも歩いていけるくらいのすごくいいロケーション。室内はとても清潔で、歯ブラシやタオルのアメニティも充実していた。また、スタッフの方もすごく親切で快適だった。

ホテルの目の前のバーのような場所から夜中の4時くらいまで大きな音楽が流れていたこと。でも、最初だけで慣れれば何も感じなくなりました。ホテル自体はすごく良かったです。

Very good

I came to seoul for a business trip and was also seeing a show over by the palace so I needed a cheap place to stay by myself within walking distance of that. This worked. The room was cleaner than I expected from the area. There were plenty of restaurants and mini-marts and cafes nearby.

They kept trying to make me add them on a chat app, but I was not worried about not being able to find it. I arrived after 10 pm and there was nobody there and my card was put in a safety box and they emailed me the codes. It wasn't a problem, but I was not expecting to check myself in, haha. There were also no water bottles or kettle in the room, which was a first in Korea for me; even rooms half the price usually give those things. They did have a water machine and a microwave in the common room though.

Better options out there…

호스텔 위치는 정말 좋았는데 번지가에 있기 때문에 그 점도 고려하셔야 합니다 You can’t beat the location as it is a couple of minute walk from the subway station. It is surrounded by restaurants and pubs that are open late so take that into consideration as well

First of all, on the website it said desk clerk available 24/7 but 3 out of 4 times I went up to the reception desk he was not there. I guess you are supposed to reach out to them via WeChat but I don’t use that app nor was I going to download it just so I can get a hold of the receptionist for this one night stay at the hostel. Secondly, a loud alarm woke me up at 3~4 in the morning and I’m still not sure what that was but it sounded like it was coming from the hallway and it went on for a while long enough to wake me up and keep me awake. Thirdly the room could use some cosmetic update/touch up as the paint seems outdated and dirty.

A cute little pink room to sleep and wash your clothes.

Very friendly and helpful staff are always quick to reply on KakaoTalk. The washer/dryer very handy. Cool/hot filtered water available. The room fit a double and large single bed. I like the plugs next to each bed. And the pink aesthetic is very cute. There was an issue with our bathroom but the owners were very quick to fix the problem and provided a solution while we were waiting for it to be fixed. Also very very greatful for how accomodating the owners were to let us check in early after over 24hrs of travelling. They provide a Manual which is very informative with directions and attractions nearby. The location is great, close to Jong-gak trainstation, the street comes alive at night and theres The Avenue of Youth is pretty cool and the Cheongyechong stream is a 2minute walk away. So many seoul attractions are nearby within 20minutes or less of walking. We had a good time at MJ Stays.

The beds are very hot, I think its because of the matress protector? But the beds/bedding are very standard, which is I guess reflects the price they charge. You get what you pay for, which is fair. I understand the rooms are small, but there is not much storage or surfaces to place your things. A small shelf next to the beds would be nice, and some more hooks/hangers on the bare walls, i feel like this might make the space better. *although, there are fold out tables/chairs in the hallway if needed, so this is a good solution. For some reason the tv volume wouldnt go below 32 haha No conditioner in bathroom. Not much natural light in room 604.

Strategic location. Good room. Strongly recommend

- The location is strategic. 2-3mins of walk to bus/train station. The whole area is very central, close to all attractions. We went home at 1am in the morning and it's still crowded, very safe area to walk around - the host is welcoming and quick to communicate. They welcomed us with smiles - The room is very good. Comfortable. We can have 4 small luggages opened at the same time. Good for 2 ppl. - The bathroom is good for an accomdation of such, spacious, has all toiletries you need. - The room is clean, basic ammenities. Happy with it.

Not that I didnt like, just something to keep in mind The area is quite crowded and full of bars so expect some noises on weekends. I am not sensitive to noises but ppl who are should keep this in mind. You will not have room clean for the entire stay. And have to separate gabbage on your own.

Great would defo recommend. Spoke English at the desk which was also v useful

Super cozy, useful little fridge in the room for keeping water bottles cold etc. Everything worked as expected.

Great location. Almost close to all the major attractions. Easy access to metro subway and bus stations.

It's close to a busy restaurant and bar street. It could very noisy till 2-3 am. Not a good option for light sleeper.

I really had a good stay!

It was really clean, near subway exits and there are lot of good restaurants in the area! Staff are really nice too!!

The room has a little open space, so if you have big luggages, it might be too small for you.

a nice great stay with great owner.

very easy to find, near to train, clean room & toilet, shared facilities. great owner. safe place. near all the convenient stores and eateries. can walk to myeongdong.

people leaving their laundry inside the washing machine + dryer the whole night & not taking it out after it was done when the others need to use it too. waited for hours and in the end the whole night. afterall it is a shared one right.

Great stay in an amazing location!

Incredible location - right in one of the liveliest parts of Seoul. Step out the door and you've literally got 100s of restaurants, bars to explore. So much life! Yet, not too noisy. Also very near metro stop. Small but well-equipped room. Incredible value, especially for this location. Staff were really helpful before our arrival, sent a really detailed information book. They're not always around the hotel itself but are easy to reach online (whatsapp etc) and speak good English.

All good, only tiny thing is that the duvet was incredibly warm - but I guess in winter this would be a good thing!

The boss/staffs were extremely helpful. It's very near the subway and airport bus station. If u have big luggages the boss recommended us to take the airport bus which will cost KRW17,0000. The room was value and it's located near a lot of eateries that are open at late afternoon till late night

If you have bigger luggages, try to book a bigger room as the space is quite limited.

If I ever go to Seoul to eat n relax, I would go to this hostels.

It is right on top of some restaurants street. We had supper at 3 am for 3 nights. Some restaurants open till 6 am

Nothing really the room is small n has no frills but for that price and location what else do we want, I stay with 3 kids so if it works it is good for adults. My room was across community room with dryer and washer, soundproofing was amazing I hear no noise.actually for hostels there is lots of privacy.

We like it that the room is clean, there is a laundry area and that it is near many restaurants that are mostly open at night until the wee hours of the morning. Customer service is good too. They are very responsive to our messages.

it would have been nice if there is a window view but I believe that is the limitation of the building.

Friendly hosts quick to respond to requests. Only criticism is no room cleaning. Excellent overall

- Check in was smooth. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready yet but we were able to leave our luggage in the reception area and were contacted via Whatsapp when the room was available. We were given the option to choose between a room with a view to the street (which the host warned that it would be loud) or a room on the other side of the building which didn't have a view but still had a window (we took the latter) - WiFi is great as there is a router situated inside the room so great connection and great speeds - We were given the host's phone number and they were really easily reachable via Whatsapp. They were very responsive, helpful and friendly (they also helped us make a booking in Korean over the phone as we couldn't speak the language!) - There is water refill, a microwave, and a washer and dryer (free to use) in the common area - Location is awesome and conveniently situated in the middle of a busy street - CCTV is available in all common areas so gave us peace of mind in terms of security

- There were a few times we preferred to speak to the hosts directly at reception but there were many times when they weren't available (not a huge problem as we were still able to contact them via Whatsapp) - We stayed for 5 nights for 2 people but were given only a few spare bathing towels (we would've preferred there to have been more available instead of having to ask) - No toiletries, bidet or bath robes in the bathroom (though not necessarily expected as it's a guesthouse rather than a hotel) - No room cleaning available so we had to sweep and vacuum the room ourselves - The lighting was okay but the lights were still illuminated after turning them off and this disturbed our sleep a bit
