Somebody didn't do their job

The place was comfortable and quaint. Everything about the stay was great considering the cost.

I wasn't notified beforehand about any of the access steps... I got them in an email 2 days after my visit, and the information in the email was incorrect. The only reason we got access was that one of the long-term tenants had a contact number. The number through bookings.com was for the owner in the UK, and he was not helpful. Sounds like I woke him up, and he never did contact the property manager. It was not impressive.

it has everything you need and a really nice garden with access to the roof

i thought the bed was too soft but that my personal opinion

정말 조용한 주택가에있어서 좋았어요. 방도 호텔 같른 가격으로 갈수있는것보다 훨씬 넓어요.

식기는 있는데 싱크가 없어서 불편했어요.

It was just ok, not terrible but not great.

Close to where I was working. East check in.

The used mattress outside. Lack of lights by the stairs. Overgrown vegetation on the path.

Great place in a great neighborhood.

This was a great surprise of a place. We needed a place to stay last minute, hotels were very expensive, this was tucked into a cute neighborhood, the host was responsive within 5 minutes of booking. I was concerned that they would not accept such a late request but I was wrong.

The fan in the bedroom wasn't a heater. The fan in the TV room was a heater. Suggestion to put a small space heater in the bedroom. And if I'm incorrect to maybe put some directions on how to switch the existing fan to heat mode.

Great location amenities for an affordable price

Location was ideal. Very nice and quiet neighborhood Staff was quick and attentive

I wasn’t aware of property type. It was no problem once settled in.

Comfortable room, but wouldn’t stay here again

The studio was spacious and the bed was very comfortable

The shower was cold, sometimes hot water would come through if left to run for 10 mins, but sometimes there was no hot water at all. The upstairs apartment leaked into the room during the night, waking us up with water running from the ceiling. The room was not as advertised, there were no bathrobes or slippers, the hot tub was not functioning, the first picture of a bathtub is misleading as there are several studios in the building and only one has this facility. There was no check in information provided, I had to phone to get a code for the lockbox, and no replies to messages about accessing the property or the leak.

Promising location that needs attending too

The uniqueness of the property was my appeal. Once I arrived at the property, it didn't catch me as it did in the pictures. I DID LIKE the apartment like the atmosphere and the location amd the scenery.

The unit next door, the occupant, had a pet that kept barking, which in itself was unnerving. The LOUD NOISES thru the thin walls and the LOUDNESS of the TV just created an unsettling experience. It was my girlfriends 50th bday, and I feel the 4 days staying there was not to my satisfaction.

Mostly comfortable, but a bit too stressful

The place was nice, quiet, and overall comfortable.

The biggest issue was that they forgot to put our key in the lockbox and we’re unreachable for almost an hour. I was at a show, but my husband was trying to get into our room and while he was waiting for a staff member to help, a neighbor called the cops on him. This made for an extremely unpleasant experience, potentially dangerous if the neighbors are doing this to guests who are just trying to figure out the locks. Luckily, the staff member showed up before the cop escalated anything. The room was overall comfortable, but the outside light makes the bedroom entirely bright all night (the blinds have too many gaps). Also we got either a neighbor’s or another guest’s secondhand pot smoke throughout the night. We would have otherwise enjoyed our stay in this cute, spacious place…but being locked out and having to deal with the police meanwhile, due to the negligence of the staff, ruined the experience. It’s nice, but definitely not worth the cost.

Passable

They had a really nice hot tub/garden area.

I get the feeling the neighbors hate you renting...when I returned at 11:30 and another renter at 12, all of a sudden this super LOUD chirping thing started going off ad continued through the night (your neighbors to the left) Also, I got dirty looks when parking , You have a broken down car and a trailer taking up 2 on property parking spots, so if you are renting 4 places w no parking- it sucks. I do Not think the cleaning fee you tack on AFTER you misrepresent that the rental (was 180 bucks, endedup 330 bucks). Is in any way fair. Why is the toilet in the kitchen?

Ran into one of the staff and she was super helpful! it was a beautiful stay!

The property is in a nice and safe neighborhood with a short walk/drive to the ocean.

my only criticism is the bathroom door is a sliding barn door that doesn’t seal all the way. hard to keep your business private.

the owner didn’t not communicate with us and on arrival it was only by chance that a neighbour could let us in. then that day we had a note placed outside our apartment saying under new management

The location served our needs and we would stay there again.

We liked the studio apartment because it was located in a quiet suburban neighborhood but was still close driving distance to beaches, restaurants and southern California activities. One of the hosts DeAnn and her helper, Gloria, were so kind and quick to respond to our needs. We have stayed here two times before and appreciate a comfortable bed, basic kitchen amenities, cleanliness and free parking available on the street.

We would stay again.

Lovely large bright room.

The internet didn't work. We couldn't even get the SSID to load the signal was so weak. Numerous people tired without success. As international travellers this was a massive problem for us.

A great place for two

This is what I loved. Quiet and safe neighborhood. The place is spacious enough for two. The essentials in the kitchen and a coffeemaker (didn't see them in the picture, so wasn't expecting them, and even brought my plates and a bowl - so it came as a nice surprise). The outside table was a nice place to have some peace and quietness for a moment. However, the pool that is in the pictures didn't seem to be a part of this particular unit. Parking was not a problem. Cafes and restaurants are at the walking distance (15 mins), and the area feels safe enough.

Well, maybe the mattress was too soft. Besides that, it was a great place to stay

Great Value Stay in LA! Would Definitely Recommend

The room we were at is a studio built for guests. It has plenty of room for 2 people, and is a great value stay for a weekend/week. It has a kitchen, towels are provided, and the bed is really comfortable. The owners were incredibly helpful and allowed us to check out late when we were running behind on our packing.

The location of the building requires a car or lyft/uber to most places. You can walk down to Marina del Rey for food, but the walk up the hill is fairly strenuous in the heat. The room does not get much natural light, but we didn't spend much time in the room so it was perfect for us.

Clean nice place with a good price

Outside of the city center, pretty close to the beach. We mostly used it only to sleep- we’re gone for all days. Place was nice and clean, we really liked chairs on our little patio to sit for a second at the morning. Lady who brought us towels (I think the owner) was super nice and helpful!

We arrived late and towels were missing so we couldn’t shower but next morning I called the property and lady brought them to us straight away, apologizing that probably cleaning ladies forgot so it’s all good. You just have to communicate in case of similar situation.

It was uncomfortable and not restful.

We did not have a nice stay as the bed was super uncomfortable and we were awoken at 6AM to someone stomping around above us and moving things around. Also there was a bright light shining into the room during the night from outside and there was no way to block out the morning sun, as the shades were white. The cab ride from the airport was over $20 as well so not worth it for a layover.
