the location is great in the fort of galle,

not very clean, dusty and the absolut worst thing is the non stop noise all the time. this place is in the family's house so just for you to know that you will hear kids scream from early in the morning untill very late at night. no rest in the midle of the day and one time I dressed in the room and one of the kids looked at me throuh the window .. not very nice. noisy

the rooms were clean and cozy, the location is grand

there was no „view“, looking out the windows was looking at a wall/other windows so you couldn’t open the windows or get a fresh breeze in.

Comfortable and homely

Perfect central location if you want to be in the Fort area. Lovely and clean rooms with a super comfy bed. Best room I have had my whole trip.

Comfortable bed but room is too hot due to malfunctioning air con

The bed was comfortable and the shower worked really well. The owner let us check in earlier than expected which we really appreciate.

The air conditioning didn’t work properly, it didn’t blow out enough cold air. I asked for some laundry to be done and the owner told me 60LKR per item which it also said on the door of the bedroom, when I was checking out the price had changed to 80LKR per item. felt conned.

lovely accom in the dutch fort

The staff were friendly, the location was good in the fort, the room had mosquito nets built into each bed frame, and the mattresses were really comfortable. The shower was really good. The room had shared balconies on each side.

The wifi didn't quite reach the room reliably, but this is a very small thing, otherwise all really good!

good place but very lack of management

location is exceptional, some rooms have a nice view, only one to be sure rooms are well furnished and beds are nice

towels are already grey, must be replaced. no soap, not cleaned rooms. when you’ll book the good room the owners will try to accommodate you in the other room by any reason

Room was exceptionally clean

Was quite expensive for one night, but was still a nice stay :) The wifi didn't work at all for me, which was difficult when trying to plan my trip, as I was relying on wifi only. Wasn't offered breakfast and I think this was included :)

very clean space, good location — loud children the only downside

location was great, rooms were clean, the refrigerator was a very nice addition. hosts were nice … except for what I’m noting below that they should please bear in mind that guests should have to hear their children screaming constantly.

screaming children — especially in the morning. this was really not okay waking up to shrieking. the voices carry up the stairs — loud screeching is not a great way to start the day.

Very nice and clean place with perfect location

The location is perfect, the family is wonderful, even kids know English.) the room is nice and clean, the bed is comfortable.

Kids might shout while playing and wake you up early in the morning. ))
