Abandoned and quiet paradise

First of all I need to say that our hearts melted by friendliness and hospitality of owner! This was first-rated. He offered to pick us up from and to the Jinbu station and also gave a hand with a trip to supermarket. Thank you so much! About our stay - we liked so much nature, snowy mountains, and clean fresh air. Inside a house there are everything you can need - all kitchen stuff for cooking, microwave, fridge and even a multi cooking for rice or anything. Warm bed and warm floors was a great surprise! Thank you so much! If I ever have an opportunity to visit your place in other seasons of the year I would love to come again!

Superb

The guest house is located in the middle of nature. One is exposed to a beautiful and tranquil landscape which is so calming. The host couple was super friendly. They were such warm-hearted people, offering us a nice homemade meal too. We did utterly enjoy our short stay in the guest house. A great place to stay both for a family with kids and a solo trip.

This stay is out of the way but in the best kind of rural getaway way. We stayed in the middle of winter (negative 12 Celsius!!) But were incredibly comfortable and warm. The heated floor was amazing and the room was stella. Great vibes, the owner was super helpful and even made us gimbap (i think we were the only people staying that night haha)! Cannot recommend this place enough for a summer or winter stay!

Highly recommended, highlight of our South Korea trip so far

We stayed 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The property is so beautiful with snow and it snowed during our stay.The kids had so much fun sledging, building a snowman, little ducks and snowballs All the equipments were provided. The view from the cabin is amazing and the kids loved their room in the attic. The hosts were very hospitable, picked us from Jinbu station and back and also offered us a trip to the shops when they went out for groceries. The hosts shared a lot of home made food with us like tobokki, potato pancake,kimchi and pickled radish which were delicious. Eventhough the host does not speak English, we communicated well using a translator app. We are so glad to have made this detour after spending 10 nights in Seoul before heading to Busan. It's a highlight of our South Korea trip so far. Thank you Sisilli Pension, we will always remember our time here. Really appreciate the space and quiet after 10 days of cramped rooms in Seoul.

the Hidden paradise at Jinbu

Amazing view. The owner was very kind. He helps us carry our luggage to the room. The bed is quite hard but its ok for us. Room was properly heated. And the kids enjoy playing sleigh provide by the owner

Helpful owner

The owner is very friendly welcome us using google translate.. clear snow path..show us how to play sled and offer us hot topokki..and he is a saviour even after we check out..our car got stucked on a drain ditch covered with snow 1km after leaving the pension. He came all the way to help us n called a rescue truck on behalf. Really thankful for the helpful pension owner.

If owner can speak english..haha i can converse with him more.

This was the perfect getaway for our little family. We will be back!

The owners were on site and so incredibly friendly. As we unpacked our things the first evening, the gentleman even took our eldest daughter sledding down the snowy hill. The setting was perfect for us - we enjoyed some decking and a lovely snowy view. We were within about a half hour of a couple of ski resorts which suited us just fine. And the sweet cats and dog on site were an added bonus for our animal-loving family.

The bathroom could use some updating, for sure, but because everything else was perfect, it’s almost not worth mentioning.

I love this place so much!

The perfect fall getaway to escape busy city life. It's surrounded by trees and hill/mountain views. There are beautiful plants, sweet funny cats, and a sweet dog. Everything is peaceful and the cabins are private and cozy. The hiking in Odaesan is fantastic. You need to drive, get a ride, or get a taxi to get to the hiking trails or to get to restaurants. It's worth it to sleep in such a lovely, peaceful place. :)

Fantastic, beautiful, peaceful place!

Everything! It is a very beautiful place, with cozy cabins that are separated. The scenery is so pretty, high on a hill with trees all around you. There were very sweet cats there and a lovely dog! The owners were SO kind and they picked me up from the train station and drove me to the temple, the trails, and the market. They did so much more than expected. I stayed there by myself and had a wonderful, peaceful time. Just what I needed. I will definitely go back there again. I bet it's gorgeous in the Fall!

It is far from everything, but that's exactly what I wanted! It is a beautiful escape.

Quite remote but has all what you need. Just bring your food.

the owner is very friendly and makes you feel home. Brought the kids for a sledding round. Place is very clean and very warm.
