good size unit, very spacious. very close to the beach

carpet is looking a little old and is stained in areas. limited silverware. The other person renting the unit below us parked in the middle of the garage so we couldn't park in it one night.

LOVED that the house was literally a block from a WONDERFUL beach. In addition, it was close to Huntington Beach and also the pier in Newport. The house was super cute and had a nice layout. There was a cute patio out front with chairs to enjoy. Overall it was a nice neighborhood and everyone was respectful of quiet hours which I was grateful for considering you literally have about 5 feet between each house. We didn't use the grill but nice to know it was available. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and glasses available for use. There was plenty of other miscellaneous kitchenware as well - we just didn't see a bottle opener or a pizza cuter - 2 things we needed.

There wasn't anything I "didn't like" but do want to point out a few things that could have been "better" It would have been nice if the weeds on the patio area were taken care of. It would have been nice if there was a box of kleenex in the house. I would have loved to of known that there was paper towel under the sink as we went out and bought some because we didn't see any and no napkins. We also purchased more toilet paper (3 rolls for 5 people for 5.5 days just wasn't enough). I also would have loved it if the property listed that they had beach towels available (we didn't know this and brought our own). Being so close to the beach it would have been nice to have beach chairs and boogie boards available - what was in the garage we weren't certain we could use plus it was very old and unappealing - even information on a place to rent this stuff would be helpful. We also had to downsize our vehicle because the garage is so small and the door would not have shut - this too would have been nice to know in the communication of some sort. There is no air conditioning and very little airflow in the house. The carpet in the bedrooms is rather gross when you first walk in. I also wish there had been some sort of book that listed close-by attractions - favorite places to eat - fun places to shop etc. Whether that be from the owners or a book that all guests can input information. In the checkout information it asked us to wash the sheets if we were able (I didn't know this and so, therefore, didn't have any laundry detergent to do so - plus I'm on vacation- I don't want to do this kind of laundry??)

Excellent location. The house gets morning sun. A great surprise was that there are lots of beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards available. I would definitely recommend this house and location.

The only thing is the house needs mat at the front entrance to help collect sand. It would be nice if there was at least salt and pepper and maybe a little vegetable or something other than that the kitchen is well stocked.

The location was perfect for us-1/2 way between the tennis courts and the boardwalk. We have our own bikes and we bike everywhere! Beach is also beautiful.

Was not happy when the cleaning people for the upper apartment left the garage doors wide open when they left and our bikes were inside. Had one stolen 2 years ago in Newport! No other complaints.

Property management responded immediately to questions and requests. Convenience to beach and overall location are excellent. Great restaurants in the area with easy access to other beaches, such as Huntington and Laguna. Overall, very nice and spacious.

Bathroom tub is slippery and should be equipped with safety handles. Water filter on fridge needs to be changed. Carpet in bedrooms need to be cleaned. Kitchen could use more large glasses, as opposed to plastic...and maybe replace the very tired plastic dinner plates too.
