Spacious room and amiable staff

Its an amazing property, located away from the hustle bustle of city facing greenery and snow clad mountains. We could see Hassan Valley (one of the densest forest of Asia and Anglo-British age water reserve). We are thankful that we opted for the property and reclaimed serenity.

They cater for families and they are bit strict when it comes to hooliganism and late-night parties.

Big spacious rooms with nice interiors, comfortable bed, delicious food and beautiful views .It was perfect for us.

Its a very peaceful and quite place for spending weekend. Staff is polite and helpful. Food was fantastic and cooked just like home, make me feel I never left home. Its a must visit property. 🙂🙂🙂

Everything! The Staff, especially Tarun, could not do enough for us. Really made us feel like we were at home. The location is amazing with a stunning view from the balcony. First time i stayed in a Homestay and it was fabulous! I will 100% be back and I loved every minute of it. Would absolutely recommend The White Haven a must stay if visiting Shimla. The location and setting around the property is perfect. The staff and food quality is outstanding. Above all one of the best hosts who pay particularly attention to details. From the selection of decorations to the quality of bed/pillow to choice on menus, all meticulously executed. And the flexibility to tailor small things to your liking. And if you are cricket fan, this is place to be. Owners listen to customers and look after them, so please have a conversation about anything you’d like to know about.

Such a nice property to visit with friends and family . Rooms are so spacious, so clean and the view is breathtakingly beautiful. Hospitality is so good. Ample parking space and peaceful atmosphere. I would highly recommend.

Property is way above the rest of the homestays in the region. I will compare it to the 5 star hotels there in shimla. Staff was from Himachal itself and were very hospitable. There is a small garden where I did Yoga in the morning, Property is value for money. I just had breakfast and it was very delicious. Also, got to know that the property had hosted many celebs including Cricket star MS DHONI. It was a cherry over the cake getting to know this. I will surely visit here again and will recommend it to all.

Suite Rooms are bigger and have a balcony. Standard rooms don't have a balcony. Next time, I will book the Suite for sure.

Rooms were well maintained, and food was tasty and fresh.Ample parking space. View was spectacular. I must say by far, it would be the best homestay in Shimla.

Staff is courteous. Property is sparkling clean. Homely food was exactly suited to my taste. Balcony Suite rooms have a great view. Loved the lighting in the property.

Our stay was for 2 nights in March end. Location - This is located 20 mins away from the main market and tourist attractions. Not a difficult way to reach till you reach almost outside the property. Knowing how the roads of mountainous region, there is a narrow lane which you have to enter in order to park and locate the property. It would have been good if there was a board on the main road. That was the only glitch in finding the property. Food - They provide the home cooked food and menu is pretty much fixed. The food is undoubtedly well prepared and tasty. No complaints on the dinner. They also served warm breakfast in the morning. The quantity of poha and the sabji was more than sufficient for 2 people. The second evening we ordered food from a newly opened restaurant (Taste buds) and it was very good too. Rooms - The best part of this stay was the size and beauty of the rooms. Very spacious and luxurious looking room with hot water kettle, TV, AC, heater etc. The view from the room's balcony was serene and absolutely perfect for morning breakfast or evening tea. The abundance of sunlight from the glass windows made it even more bright. The furniture was all wooden and gave a luxurious feel. Cleanliness - On point for cleanliness, nicely kept room, bathroom and balcony. Amenities - The reason for 1 less star is the low wi-fi connectivity. Toiletries were provided with clean towels too. Due to the cold weather, the water heaters were not very effective even if you kept the heaters on for 45 minutes. Staff - Polite and supportive staff. Very cooperative and accommodative with our requests and questions. Quite informative as well on our queries. Parking - Once you enter the narrow lane and find their property, you can see a parking lot with sufficient parking space.
