Schöner Aufenthalt in einer sehr angenehmen familiären Atmosphäre.

Sehr freundliches Personal das englisch spricht. Die Nähe am Westeingang des Nationalparks, die ruhige Lage und das leckere Essen, das die Familie von Carol uns vorbereitet hat.

Die Dusche ist nicht abgetrennt im Bad sodass das gesamte Badezimmer mitgeduscht wird. Die Lage am Westeingang des Parks ist ggf. ein bisschen ungünstiger um die berühmten Ecken des Parks zu erreichen im Vergleich zum Süd- und Ostportal.

Very good

They also host a family restaurant just downstairs. Cheap and delicious. People are kind and helpful. Bed is large enough.

The bathroom does not function so well. Also, the television doesn't work

Perfect location near Zhangjiajie National Park with wonderfull support and communication.

Absolutely amazing communication and helpful guidance from Carol. The location is perfect, about 10min walk from the Zhangjiajie National Park entrance. They offer reasonably priced breakfast and dinner, and make you feel like a part of the family run business. Carol will guide you to use your time wisely in the nearby park, or arrange a guide if desired. Did I mention communication was excellent with me in English, both before and during my stay. Note: ask for western toilet just to be sure, some rooms don't have one. This is not a 5 star facility, but more than adequate with the price, location, and friendly family at your service.

overall great experience, I would defygo back again,

the host , she is great, i felt like I’m at my home she is very nice , and the price is affordable, the room are clean and she gave us better room arrange , it should have cost more but she didn’t charge us for that

it’s far from the city, but it doesn’t matter because it’s 5 minutes walk from the park

Exceptional

The owner is a great person. She helps a lot. Also she can give guide service with her personal vehicle. The area doesn’t have anything. No restaurant, no shop, even a coffee shop. But I feel happy to choose her hotel. Thank you so much Carol!

Exceptional

Carol, the host, and her parents own and run the place. She was amazing and so generous and kind. She was able to help us buy discounted cable car tickets, gave advice about where to go in the park, patiently answered our questions, and was a sweetheart dealing with our kids. Dinner both nights was delicious and the breakfasts were simple but satisfying. It was so nice to stay in a family~run inn in the countryside to have a little bit more peace and quiet, and the surrounding nature felt very refreshing for the mind and soul. Would love to come back.

The only minor problem was that the water in the bathroom would pool while having a shower, as the floor was level and not slightly on an angle to allow for water to drain naturally. Thus you needed to mop the water into the drain after each person showered and it took a while.

Great staff, food and location but the accommodation could use a bit of maintenance

The staff are really friendly and lovely. Carol was very helpful and always made herself available to help. The location is really close to the park which made planning trips very convenient. The staff will also help you set up a taxi to any locations you want to visit. I love the food in the restaurant!

The pictures of the rooms does not quite match the ones on the website and my room needed some repairs. Such as half of the lights didn't work and the light fixtures where tapped poorly to the ceiling which was falling down. The room did smell of damp a little bit and my room was not cleaned during my trip which lead to dead bugs on the floor. The bedding was also quite thin for the weather outside so I did have to sleep in my coat to be warm.

Authentic, relaxing stay with superb host

Carol is an incredible host who goes out of her way to help you with local info and make your stay amazing. The Inn has a great restaurant below serving home cooked food- good quality and cheap. It is less than 5mins walk to the park entrance which is fab as no waiting for cabs or buses, come in and out as you pleased. Stayed here with 3 young kids, they loved it too and relaxed after a long day walking playing in local streams. Fab value, cute, calming and authentic place to stay. Cannot thank Carol enough for all her help, what a super star!

Very good

Carol went out of her way to see to my needs and help me getting to and from the different places. Without her help I would have been lost. She is so sweet and a perfect host.

Comfortable stay

The hotel staff is very nice and friendly. They cook at the hotel, they help with tickets, taxi, reservations, anything you can't do by yourself. They have maps of the park and willingly show how to explore it. The location is perfect, it's very close to the park entrance.
