The villa was traditionally decorated. A little dark inside but the decor was very beautiful. Definitely recommended if you really want a Moroccan feel to your accommodation. Latifa, the housekeeper is so very sweet and kind. She was just lovely and humble. We ordered her traditional moroccan dinners which were so yum and plentiful. Her and the decor were the highlight of our stay. Despite the parking issue, the location was fab. Right in the medina which means you've got all the shops at your fingertips. Right next to Moulay Hassan square and the port opposite to the square where we definitely recommend you eat fish and seafood. We ate fish, prawns, squid, calamari and different types of fish, plus chips, two plates of salad and drink for 300dh. Absolute bargain, fresh and scrumptious. Would recommend and would visit again.

We travelled by car and so had no idea that you can't park near the property. You have to park near bab marrakech which is one of the many doors that lead into the medina. You can't drive into the medina. You then have to walk from that entrance right through the medina to the end of the medina to the property. The walk was lovely as you literally walk pass all the vendors but it is a bit of a walk if you have kids. Plus you'll need to pay around 30dh for a man with a cart to take your luggage to the property if you have a lot of luggage. We stayed 3 nights which also meant 150dh leaving it in the manned car park. That was after a haggle by my husband. So need to take this into consideration if you arrive by car. There is a lovely two level terrace but it's dangerous for young kids due to large gaps in the concrete barriers and steep stairs without railings. No TV but that's good for those who actually want a holiday!
