Idyllic guesthouse in paradise

We had the most incredible time staying at Forever Cottage - the most fabulous hosts, the most incredible location and an absolutely stunning house to stay in. Grace’s food was incredible as was their hospitality. We would love to return some day and would 100% recommend

Lovely stay with lovely hosts

Such a cool place! I really regretted only having a short stay here! The hosts are both super nice and welcoming and additionally two very nice and calm dogs will take care of you. Waking up to a view like this one was really really nice. And lastly, this place is far away from all the "touristy" areas and that includes the vibe which is so much nicer here in my opinion.

If anything then you must be aware of the fact that the last few kilometers can take quite a while because of pot holes and depending on the weather mud. But I'd drive this road any day again - it's really worth it :-)

Amazingly scenic, cultural, and community oriented experience

Grace and Lloyd are phenomenal hosts and made my wife and I feel like we were part of the community from the moment we got there. We would highly recommend Forever Cottage for any one that is interested in exposure to Jamaican life away from the tourist areas and within a safe and tight knit community. The excursions (fishing, hiking, waterfalls) in the Robin's Bay area rival any on the island and the house and property itself is stunning.

Amazing place!

+ Location away from "tourist places" + Very friendly community + Grace and Lloyd are amazing people, gave us a lot of tips to places nearby, Grace even took us on the trip in surroundings and introduced us to some locals; Lloyd gave us beer and rum in the evening, it was really lovely! + Grace is really a great cook, we had breakfast and dinner almost every day and every day it was different and just perfect! + Grace told us a lot of local plants and fruits, helped us getting a driver for a trip, Lloyd helped us get rid of the beetle that scared us in the evening :) + There are two old friendly dogs - Luna and Bag, they are so lovely, my husband loves dogs and they always came so he could pet them! So cute, but not annoying at all <3 + The property is really huge! That way you always have a privacy if you need. You can chill on the beach, in hammock, go watching waves from the cliff or even make a campfire on various places. Everywhere it is so calm and soothing, really a place to relax your body and mind! If we ever come to Jamaica again, guess where we are staying :).

- Everything was perfect, there was nothing to dislike!

This is such a nice place with amazing views and the greatest hosts. Breakfast and Dinner is amazing - Grace puts together different dishes every day. Also there are two really adorable dogs - they won’t bother you if you’re afraid of dogs but will appreciate some cuddles. We would really recommend going here for a couple of days! There’s a private little beach with a hammock wich is great for a day of reading or relaxing.

The only downside comes with the beach. It’s not really good for swimming because it has a lot of sea urchins. There are plans to build a seawater pool so ad soon as that is finished you can also swim :)

Excellent hosts! Places to explore and rejuvenate your spirit with breathtaking views.

Everything! The sun, skies, sea view and breeze, awesome sunrises, silver moonlight nights and the Zen nook. This was topped by Grace's excellent company and awesome cooking. Breakfast and dinner was always delicious and pleasing to the eye and the palate. The fruits and cuisine of Jamaica were incorporating along with an international flair and presentation. We enjoyed our privacy, but our hosts were always available for great conversation, interaction and suggestions of things to do. Luna and Bag were well behaved, friendly dogs who welcomed us with open paws. It was a lasting and rewarding two week experience. Looking forward to our next visit. Thanks for all your great advice Grace!

Beautiful views. Breakfast really good.

The fact that the road is incredibly hard to navigate without a 4x4, no directions off the main road, no sign on the cottage and no suggestion that it would be a long way from anything. The room was very small and the fridge was not turned on and windows not opened. No cups and spoon but a kettle. Nowhere to get dinner, no facilities to cook your own. Misleading description of an inn.No soap, bathroom door not fitting properly so my son was locked in the bathroom for some time and no one was there to help. No one on site and totally alone with owners two dogs. On first night we couldn't get into accommodation because no one read my messages and I drove miles to try and find somewhere else to stay before curfew. I am not a fussy traveller and have lived in Jamaica many years before my stay.

Perfect spot to unwind

Everything: the location, the thoughtful design of the property, the tasteful interiors and the fabulous hosts. It really is the perfect spot to unwind - and cool down due to the delightful breeze. Be sure to sample some (or ideally a lot!) of Grace's delicious cooking and make use of the fire pits and hammocks. We would very highly recommend and plan to return soon.

An amazing outdoor experience with a view of the beach. You won't be disappointed.

The host is absolutely amazing 10/10! The rooms and bathroom are crispy clean. The beach and campfire sites are A1. It's an experience that you're unlikely to get anywhere else. You'll be so intuned with nature that you'll hate to leave it!

No cooking amenities. Not the best of roads to get there. Otherwise, there is nothing to dislike. The place is amazing. Great value for money. Take your own food and you'll have no regrets.

The best way to feed your soul.

Forever Cottage was exactly what we were looking for. Stunning views, comfortable accommodations, excellent food and the warmest most accommodating hosts ever!!....Grace was absolutely Amazing!!

Forever Cottage was amazing!

Grace was wonderful, she made an awesome dinner for us and frankly you'd be hard pressed to find restaurants with better food or service. I really loved the dogs and the seaside areas.

Just the road to get there was pretty rough but that's literally the only thing I could find fault with.

Perfect weekend getaway...Awesome hosts, beautiful community, can't wait to go back.

My daughter and I had breakfast both mornings, first morning we opted for a traditional Jamaican breakfast which was great, we had seasonal fruits.(awesome plating), ackee and saltfish with breadfruit, bammy and fried dumplings. Day 2 we opted for stuffed crepes...ohh my what a delight...our crepes were stuffed with lobster.. of course our seasonal fruit was jackfruit with papaya. We felt sooooo spoilt. We eat with our eyes and Grace nailed the plating presentation, and not to mention mouth watering food. Great breakfast to for the start of two great days we spent there. Grace and Lloyd were the most delightful hosts. We did hiking to Kwame Falls, supported the community artisans, bought All Natural Honey Soaps from Yerba Buena Farms (sooo good lemon grass, spearmint, orange...nuff scents to choose from) and Ellen's Calabash and bamboo windchime (Ellen has no store, but as we walked around the community we noticed several cottages with these windchimes, and sure enough with the helpful community spirit .....we found Ellen and was able to secure one of her handcrafted windchimes). I fell in love with the photos of the bamboo bed and hardwood floor, then I fell in love with my awesome host Grace and Lloyd, then I fell in love with the community. We spent only 3 days and 2 nights, but wow.... within the first hour of arriving my daughter simply said we are coming back.
