The accomodation we booked was different from what was given to us which was a big inconvenient but the staff found a wa

The staff are really nice especially Hena (im not sure of the spelling of her name) and her family.

The button for the light on men’s toilet/shower room automatically switches off itself and you have to push it down everytime it does to turn the light on so it can be quite annoying when showering.

Peaceful stay

Price, privacy, quiet. Great shower. It had everything we needed. Balcony.

Getting very run down. Very small. Will not be able to be used too much longer. Chipboard construction starting to fail.

DISGUSTING. NO HOT WATER. FILTHY PLACE. DIDNT GET ROOM WE PAID FOR NORE DID THEY LET US KNOW.

PHONED AND EMAIL YOU HAVE NOT CONTACTED ME AT ALL. IM SO PISSED OFF WE WORK HARD FOR OUR MONEY ONLY TO BE RIPPED OFF BY THE LIKES OF THESE SELFISH PEOPLE. NOONE TOLD US WHERE TO COLLECT THE KEY, I ASSUMED AT 5,30 THERE WOULD BE STAFF. RINGING BUT NO ANASWER . FINALLY A CUSTOMER SHOWED US WHERE TO FIND THE KEYS. WE DIDNT GET THE ROOM WE PAID FOR SPEAKING WITH THE WHANAU IN ROOM 6 ID GAURENTEE THEY WHERE GIVEN OUR ROOM, AS THEY WERE MOVED THERE AFTER THEIR ROOM WAS GIVEN AWAY. DINNING ROOM DISGUSTING, SMELT LIKE STENCH NOT CLEANED, DUSTY NEEDS A GOOD SCRUB BROKEN TV ON THE COUCH. ALSO HAD DOGS IN THE DINNING AREA FOUL. COMMUNAL KITCHEN ABSOLUTE FILTH STOVE/OVEN NOT EVEN USABLE AS DIRTY. FLOORS NEED A GOOD HARD SCRUB, WALLS FILTH SMELT LIKE STENCH BATHROOMS OUT DATED ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING I SHOWERED FOR 1MINUTE WITH THE LIGHTS OFF SO I DIDNT HAVE TO SEE THE FILTH, NO HOT WATER SINCE 8PM SO WE WERE TOLD. BACK TO OUR ROOM DUSTY, BUNK BEDS HAD KIDS STICKERS ALL OVER IT LIKE THEY TOOK IT FROM THEIR KIDS ROOM AND PLACED IT IN THERE. BROKEN SHABBY DRAW LIKE SOMETHING READY FOR THE DUMB. FLOORS WERE DUSTY EMPLYING IT HAD NOT BEEN WASHED OR VACCUMED, RUG DIRTY. RUBBISH BIN WAS NOT EMPTIED. IT WAS SO BAD IF WE COULD HAVE BOOKED ELSEWHERE WE WOULD HAVE, BEING WAITANGI WEEKEND EVERYTHING WAS BOOKED OUT WE STAYED AT THE BEACH TILL 11PM AT NIGHT AS THE PLACE WAS TO PARU/ DIRTY FOR US TO SIT IN I THOUGHT WE HAD A DIFFERENT ROOM WASNT ABLE TO CHECK TILL I GOT HOME AND IVE SEEN WE DIDNT GET THE ROOM WE PAID FOR NORE DID THYE LET US KNOW THEY GAVE US A DIFFERENT ROOM. NOW IVE BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT YOU BY PHONE AND EMAIL NOONE ANSWERS AT ALL. SCUMMY ACCOMMODATION I CLEARLY HAVE HIGHER CLEANING STANDARDS

Passable

There was no breakfast, the location is beautiful,

there was tea and coffee but no milk to have with them and the mattress was a bit thin, what we thought was a fridge actually froze the food we put in it! Going for a shower at night was tricky because the light doesn't stay on for long and the hot water was on and off.

Kind upgrade to provide distance from a school party was appreciated. Nice view. Helpful staff. Nice and clean. Good shower

Cockroaches were present on arrival. Shower water not contained in wet area. Leaking across bathroom floor. No dry area to park and walk to room. Feet got wet and muddy.

This accommodation was the worst experience I have had and I am an avid traveller. The tent that I booked was described as luxurious with a kichennette. What I found was a TPee that was not water prouf as described and could not even shut. The manager Holly said ...if it rains, I will move you to a cabin. The bathroom facilities were a loooong way away as well. It was agreed to refund me the second nights accom that I had paid for. I reasiled this property was not going to work for me and that sadly did not eventuate and no one picks up my calls when I ring. This place is totally run down . Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

Great facilities, staff and in an ideal location!

It says free wifi but we we're limited to how much wifi we could use and then had to pay if we wanted more. I was working while holidaying so this wasn't ideal.

Quiet spot in Paradise

Great park. New owners doing well at getting it up and running. Pool was great, awesome kiwi spotting spot. Huge variety of accommodation. Well priced.

For just the one night stop over, I was comfortable and felt secure

Loved the Asian food truck and their friendly customer service especially that of the office staff , in my personal opinion it was a breath of fresh air being served by Māori customer service who showed a lot of professionalism thank you 😊

Not a biggie but I would have enjoyed a television in my accommodation, not a biggie

Great - ruined by inconsiderate other residents.

Manager was responsive to our complaint about two barking dos that had been barking between 4.30pm when we arrived to about 6.45pm when the manager arrived to deal with the problem.

It wasn't the manager's fault but the dog owners are undoubtedly responsible for placing a Z nail behind my right rear tyre - a dangerous action that could have caused a blowout and accident. We had to attend a conference in Russell and my partner has motor neuron syndrome.

Lots of potential here can be a great place with a little t.l.c..Our cabin was very clean,clean linen etc.Very pet friendly which i appreciated.And that they had a cafe on wheels from morning to 7pm,we did not get to try but the smells from there were great.

Abolution needs a little t.lc....bit of paint and cleaning in toilets and shower heads,and floors.Would go along way with a bit of an update..But was great access from our cabin.

If weather was good, lovely facilities and braai area.

Rainy and power cut , so did dull the stay (but out of staff control) Bed was not the comfiest- very hard Fire alarm above gas bottle was going off for 2/ so hours and could not reach staff- big concern no one answering after hour phone, what if there was a real fire? Guest safety at risk?

Awesome holiday back to get away from the city life. Two nights wasn’t long enough! Deffs would be back again soon! Loved our weekend away, loved our room and the staff were amazing and very friendly.
