Bagno con vasca in legno, personale estremamente disponibile.
La posizione è buona, due fermate di autobus dalla stazione principale e un paio di fermate da zona centrale di Gion.

일단 위치가 안 좋음. 그냥 조용히 지내실분들에게 좋음.
주변에 맥주바 빼고 아무것도 없음. 물론 좀 걸어서 가면 편의점이나 음식점이 일부 있음.
욕탕에 뜨거운물이 가끔 끊김. 찬물이 주루룩!!! ㅠㅠ
아침식사도 가격대비로는 아쉬움.

This hotel is amazing. Staff was very friendly and made sure to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room was very spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and the wood helped make every shower almost a steam room experience. Have the authenticity of this hotel really added to the joys of Kyoto.

The room was spacious, and while the location is a bit outside the town, it's still within walking distance from the hotel to the city area.

Het personeel was super attent en vriendelijk! De kamers zijn erg ruim en het houten bad is heerlijk.
Het viel ons op dat de houten vloer in de badkamer lichte schimmel vlekjes had. Niks ernstigs maar tegenover de rest was dit het enige wat negatief was.

I have been going back to Japan for many years. I have stayed in many hotels, ryokans, rental apartments and guesthouses. But Kyoto Takasegawa Bettei is in a completely different league. The quality of service is the best I have recived so far. The cedar bath is fantastic, but as if you like there is a famous public bath 5 min walk away. There are plenty of cafes in the area, where vegetarians will also find something for themselves. The subway and buses are also a few minutes away. Definitely recommended.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing and provided the highest level of hospitality. When we were heading out for the day and it was cold outside, they offered us hand warmers. And when we had to check out early and were going to bus breakfast, they prepared us a packed meal the night before.
The room itself was amazing and brought an authentic feel to our stay. The Japanese cedar bathtub was another unforgettable element, and the perfect way to relax after a day of sight seeing. If we're ever in Kyoto again I would absolutely stay here again

The location was good and the room was spacious and well organized. The staff was generally helpfull and polite.
The western type breakfast was incredibly poor in taste and substance. Was brought completely cold except for the soup.

The place was perfection from the moment we set foot on the property. The staff were very enthusiastic and helpful upon our arrival and that stayed the same throughout our stay. The rooms were very spacious and allowed for us to thoroughly relax after a long day of walking and exploring. Facilities were all luxurious and clean with lots of free amenities. Definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic traditional accommodation. Very nice and cosy rooms, great bathroom, all very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke excellent English. Many cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. Still very quiet. Very good distance to the train station (we took a taxi because of our luggage).

staff service was impecable - they were very responsive and accomodated every request I had incl luggage transfer; the room was big and comfortable; location is good - close to train stations and in the heart of the city; there is no common bath area but you have a cedar bath in your room so that might be even better; the japanese breakfast was good (served in the room)

The room was very clean and super cute! The wooden onsen in the rooms made our stay that much more special.
The staff were exceptional and took extra care of us. From offering us umbrellas even when we were checking out to holding on to our luggage for the remainder of the day.

Este ryokan se encuentra muy cerca de la estación de Kyoto. En nuestro caso, visitamos el mercado Nishiki, el barrio de Gion y los templos Kiyomizu-dera y Fushimi Inari. Para este plan, la ubicación es excelente. Reservamos una habitación Superior Double Room muy amplia, limpia, y con todo tipo de detalles, tanto en el baño como en la zona de tatami. Esta habitación cuenta con una pequeña nevera, cafetera, tetera y zona de TV. Por las mañanas traen el desayuno a la habitación. El menú japonés no estaba disponible, y el western es un poco limitado en el caso de intolerancias (pedimos cambiar la bollería por arroz pero no fue posible). Mención especial al personal, que fue de los más amables y cercanos de nuestra visita a Japón - aunque no todas hablaban inglés fluido, ponían interés en entenderte y preguntarte incluso por tus planes. Ofrecían mapas sobre como llegar a lugares más alejados como el bosque de Arashiyama y heat pads antes de salir - todo un descubrimiento para pasar mejor el frío! Concienciados con la sostenibilidad.
Por decir algo, creo que el desayuno se puede mejorar. Para adaptarse mejor a intolerancias e incluso gustos, para reducir desperdicios.

Il ryokan si trova a pochi passi dalla stazione, quindi è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi (circa dieci minuti). Le camere sono SPAZIALI in quanto estremamente spaziose, dotate di macchinetta nespresso, yukata, tè, prodotti per il corpo ed il viso di ogni genere, un furo spazioso in legno di cipresso ed un bagno davvero grande. Inoltre, la vista da su un piccolo giardinetto zen. Questo hotel è andato - per la prima volta - oltre le mie aspettative!!!! Consiglio

객실, 식사, 직원 등 모든 면에서 훌륭했습니다. 한국에서라면 이 정도 숙소에서 숙박하려면 두 배 이상의 가격을 내야 했을 것 같습니다. 구글 지도에 보면 3성급이라고 표시되어 있던데, 수영장이나 연회장 같이 성급에 필요한 시설이 없어서 그렇지 보유한 시설과 제공하는 서비스의 수준은 웬만한 5성급 이상입니다. 적당히 구색만 맞춘 5성급 호텔보다 훨씬 나았어요.
특별한 단점이 없었기 때문에 장점을 조금 더 구체적으로 적자면, 객실 내에 설치된 히노키 탕이 굉장히 만족스러웠고, 직원 분들이 정말 친절했습니다. 다들 영어는 구사 가능하시고, 한국어를 하시는 직원도 계셨던 것으로 기억합니다. 또 로비에서부터 신발을 벗고 슬리퍼로 갈아신기 때문에 보다 청결하고 동양적으로 아늑한 느낌을 줍니다.

We ordered both Western and Japanese style breakfast which they delivered to our room and both were great. The room and bathroom was spacious. I mainly booked this place for the private wooden bathtub which is one of the more affordable places that I could find.
It was a bit farther away from restaurants but it was a nice change of place and if you want a quiet area or get a new experience, this would be a good place to try.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, they made the experience even better! The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable - the perfect place to stay after an exhausting day being out. The location was a few minutes walk away from the bus stop. It's conveniently close to major tourist attractions like Nishiki Market, Kiyomiza-dera Temple, Gion, and Fushimi Inari. Their luggage storage system was remarkably convenient; they held our bags both before check-in and after check-out at no extra cost. We ordered a Japanese breakfast for an extra fee, it was great! We only booked for one night but wished we had booked for our entire stay in Kyoto. Would definitely book again. Here are some pics of the neighborhood and the Japanese breakfast we had.
I wouldn't necessarily call this a downside, but thought I'd be as detailed as I can. The train was a little bit farther out. We didn't mind the walk, it's in a cute neighborhood area. We used the train to get to Fushimi Inari.
