Would not recommend or stay again.

Did not meet the expectations considering money was charhed

Nothing was provided the facility didn’t even provide enough toilet papers, shampoo, soap or towels. There were not enough blanket or paper towels were in the Kitchan. The tools we too small and bass were uncomfortable. The charges were too high comparing to that nothing meet the expectations. I would not recommend this

The host and her family were Friendly, welcoming, very respectful, helpful.....

The bed quality was very uncomfortable for two people to sleep in this one bedroom cottage. A very nice queen needs to be arranged in this room for there to be comfort for 2 people staying in this cottage.

Great location, very quiet, within a gorgeous nature. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, and food was available within a short distance (15 minutes drive).

Slept like a baby….reminded me of camping out when I was younger! Great Host!

The location was excellent and Dana was amazing! She provided us with things that we needed as we did not have them with us on our motorcycle trip. We shared a few laughs with each other. The room was small but cozy. Everything is there if you drive and take your own food and bedding. The price is reasonable for cottages in the area.

I did not know about the extra charge for bed linens and towels when I initially booked through the site. It was an extra $70 for two sets for the size hike beds. This makes sense as most people would bring their own along with food as these are cottages. We were just trying to find a place to stay in the Bancroft area. Most motels were already full and pricier. It is a very quiet location. We were concerned about no air conditioning but with the windows open and fan running thus was not a problem. There is really no TV and WiFi is spotty because you are truly out in the boonies! You actually have to talk which worked out nicely!

Poor location. Tricky business manners, rude attitude.

There is a road between the lake and the shelter,I would not even call it cottage

You only find out there is no cancellation policy after the payment, extra charge for my cat to stay for 2 nights, but we did not even stay for 1 night. We only stayed there for 2 hours, they would not refund my cat’s money

Good

It does not include breakfast service but it provides a small kitchen so you can cook by yourself. It also has BBQ outside. The location is next to the Elephant lake; The view to the lake is quite nice. You may also rent a boat at the resort. The staffs are friendly and welcoming by my experience.

The facility is relatively old. It does not have Wi-Fi. Regular mobile netowrk service may lose signals in this area. You need bring your own sleeping bag or you need pay extra for the linen.

Amazing time!

We had a amazing time at Silver Springs Resort! Dana and George were so kind and helpful couldn’t ask for better service. The cottage we stayed in was so cozy and nice the property was beautiful and well taken care of. Highly recommend 👍

Great stay. Would visit again.

The location is amazing which is just off Elephant lake. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The outdoor bbq met the expectation and was up to the mark. All utensils and appliances were clean as expected.

The indoor fire place should have been working or the heating in the cottage should have been working. The temperature during one of the night dropped dramatically and made it very cold to sleep.

loved the view but not the wildlife

The best part of this property is the view of Elephant Lake. We were there in the fall with full colours, beautiful. Its also very quiet. They had a nice usable waterfront across the road too. Beach is small, sandy at the shore but it gets pretty mushy quick. Cottages are cute if small, very much a step back in time.

Not much in the way of comfort. Bed is pretty utility grade and bedding is pretty ineffective too for staying warm. Biggest issue was the surprise visitor at 4:30am. It is very quiet here so you hear every noise. I heard all this scratching. My wife managed to sleep through it so i did my best to investigate quietly. It turned out there was vole trying to dig through the carpet behind the tv stand. He kept alternating to under the bed. Finally the sun came up at 6:45am and the vole moved to a spot where i could reach him. I caught him in a glass vase and through him out. 4 hours of sleep was rough but i couldn't get back to sleep after all that. Rough night in general. No idea how he got in but as a blind animal, its very hard to find your way back out.
