It was a cleanish, ok place to stay. No frills and definitely not worth the price but did the job and was in a central location between Middletown and Newport.

Heads up there is no staff on sight to help you or greet you. The door to get into the inn is also always unlocked which seems like a security problem to me because it's on top of a restaurant where people can just come and go. The room got extremely hot at night, the hallway faced our bedroom window which we found weird (because people could see into our room) and it shined a light in our room the whole night. The room also had barely any outlets which made it hard to charge and use our stuff. The shower head also would not tilt and was so strangely placed (almost vertical) toward the back wall of the shower that the water from the shower only hit our heads and no where else. Our sink drain also was clogged and two of the "clean" untouched towels had hair from other guests on them.

The room was very clean and pleasant.

There was another couple that came into our room that had the same room number booked. We called the hotel and they did have another room available, so the other couple went there. Everyone was very friendly and helpful in this situation but it was a little unprofessional on the hotels part.

Exactly as advertised - no frills but a great, high value location to crash and explore Newport -which we did by bikes. Owner was nice enough to let us keep our truck in the driveway during the day. We will be back as my elderly parents are in elder care nearby and we can’t afford $$$$$ Newport hotels, so we are grateful. Thank you

The place is fine, value for money. no need to speak with anyone, discrete check-in

The size of both the bathroom and room were very good. Location was good for visiting Newport Thai restaurant was very good.

We would have liked a ethylene in the room. We have a couple of large luggage which we had to carry up to the second floor.

no wifi despite being advertised, no staff on site to speak to about it and no response to more than one message about it. no tea/coffee making facilities.
