Hotel is beautifully landscaped. Room is nicely decorated and comfortable.
Breakfast is a bit basic. Could hear other guests.

The staff was very kind and accommodating. It had a relaxed environment and most guests were there for some r & r and not for the party scene which was nice for us.
I thought the room was a bit small and lacked storage (maybe need more of a place to hang clothes). Other than that, we enjoyed everything.

. The bar and pool area. All the sweet little outdoor sitting areas surrounded by lush greenery . The breakfasts were amazing!
Didn’t appreciate the add’l fees for parking our golf cart while staying there. Paying $600.00 per night should included parking.

We loved the lush garden surroundings and the charm of the old style bungalows. The whole place both inside and out was well appointed. The bed was quite comfortable and the bathroom clean and nice. The location was excellent, within walking distance of so many wonderful spots. And we adored the breakfast!
The walls are quite thin and we heard our neighbors engaging in frequent quite intimate behavior. We are all for young love, but it was not something we wanted to hear. Had to put on white noise so we wouldn't be awakened.

The private patio with the room was very nice and was a huge bonus. The shower was a good size and had great water pressure.
Breakfast was hit or miss, most days they were short on supplies and they ran out of food a couple of days. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful but some of the bar/food staff were a little rude. For the cost of the stay, the rooms and buildings were not that nice. There was a lot of rotted wood and structural issues around the property. The place wasn't bad, just over priced for the condition it was in. Pool was located near Truman so it was noisy, not peaceful at all.

Room was not up to expectations. No in-room coffee maker!

Pretty spot, lots of charm. Had a good bar, and well located for hitting various places around the downtown.
Bathroom barn door didn’t stay closed. Not a fan of barn doors on bathrooms.

Loved the property, room and location.
The bartender was extremely rude to me. He actually raised his voice. I was not even in the bar, but he inserted himself into my conversation and was very rude to me.

Lovely character property.
Loud noisy road, dehumidifier and ac unit

Bed was super comfortable
Good power shower
Rooms were a little dark and damp. We were at the front of the property so lots of street noise as well as noise from rooms above us from 7am each morning.

Zentrale Lage, hübsche und geschmackvolle Anlage!
Die Fenster waren nicht zu öffnen! Das Frühstück hatte ausschließlich amerikanischen Standart.

Location
Did not live up to the value. I thought this was a luxury hotel and it really wasn’t. I would love this place to clean up their act and brush up their rooms that need some love.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and it was even better than the first. The or itself is gorgeous. Fairly shouts Key West. Lush foliage, tucked away bungalows, multiple outdoor swings and couches where you can relax, maybe with a drink from the bar. The rooms are clean, attractive, comfortable, and with ceiling fans and wooden shutters underscore the Key West vibe. Of prime importance is the efficiency of
the air conditioning, a must in the Keys. And the staff is fantastic. We stayed for two nights this time and the front desk texted me twice to ensure that all was well and asking if we needed anything. They have my loyalty for the foreseeable future.
It’s a couple of blocks from Duval, but that’s a minor inconvenience

We have been staying in the Truman Annex for years and thought since it was just the 2 of us we would try something different and were pleasantly surprised. We loved the staff especially the bartenders Rav and Nita. And the property manager Arturo was very nice. The grounds were beautiful and the pool area taken care of too.

Privacy, it was so nice and quiet.
There was a moldy, musty smell in our first room, which was located on an upstairs area. They quickly moved us to another room and it was very nice.

It was an exceptional place to stay - we LOVED everything about the place, great location, very nice room, pool just outside our door and the breakfast was great too! We will be back for sure - Thank you!
Nothing at all stay just as is!

Proximity to Old Town

Breakfast was terrible
Room fan and air conditioner were very noisy.

Proximity to restaurants and dog beach
This hotel is not dog-friendly as some reviews claim. The hotel makes you feel guilty if your dog barks (you have to sign a waiver promising your dog will not annoy other guests) and they ask you to keep your dog away from hotel grounds. When you check in, the front desk gives you a small bag of dog treats but that’s about it when it comes to friendliness towards dogs. There isn’t a grassy area at the hotel designated for dogs. They tell you you can walk your dog on Elizabeth Street but there is no grass anywhere. The only grassy area is the parking lot of a catholic school located across the street. To get to the school, you have to cross a busy main road (Truman Avenue). There is a dog park and a dog beach nearby (by car, not walking distance) so your dogs can get some exercise and have fun.
Our room was very small and uncomfortable; it didn’t have night stands or a small table at all. The food served for breakfast is basic and tasteless, pretty low quality when compared to the breakfast offered at other hotels.

The proximity to Duval street and all tourist spots for walking
Only suggestion is we wish they had a mirror in the main bedroom so you can get ready while someone else is showering .

The bed was plush and made up every day by staff. Constant flow of fresh towels. MULTIPLE pools and they were all very clean. Pool side bar was kind of expensive but worth it. Beautiful grounds with exotic plants an animals. Shower was huge. Soaps smell great. Incredible stay.
Bathroom was kind of cramped but everything else was so overwhelming good it didn't matter.

Would like to have been away from the supply room

The hotel has a very good mood and ambiance, with all the plants surrounding the bungalows. It is also in a very good location and the complimentary bicycles were a plus!
The noise - the fridge and AC were very noise (we had to turn both off to sleep) and we could also clearly ear the other rooms.
The Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room (#52) - we hadn’t enough signal!
The breakfast had good coffee and bagels but not much more than that - it was quite small.

The property was clean and well kept! It was like an oasis with the beautiful trees and plants everywhere, it was an awesome view! I loved my room, it was spacious and always cleaned when I returned back to the room each day! I also enjoyed the two pools and the bar on site that was clean and not too crowded, I had one of the best mojito’s ever!
The staff was amazing!!! Everyone greeted me with a smile and was so polite! Karla even went out of her way to help me find stores nearby after my luggage was delayed after landing there in Key West! I am so grateful for the kindness of the amazing staff here, I will book here again without a doubt!!!
I loved everything!

Breakfast is always a plus especially something being able to grab something quick and be on the go. Location is key and it is perfect being right in the middle of the island.
Stayed here twice and no complaints!
