Beautiful, peaceful, quiet. The seclusion was the best. Takes almost an 45mins to an hour to get to the nearest town.
Went for a bike ride. They were not the best. We were told that they wanted to upgrade the bikes. We tried to use what they had but at the end it wasn’t working out. Also, boat wasn’t operable. Not a dealbreaker but was looking forward to it.

The location was amazing!
The internet was basically non-existent 😆 we couldn’t download the National park map.

To be able to stay in such a property in the woods itself is a luxury. We came to visit the Sequoia National Park and chose something that is part of the nature, it met all our expectations, sad thing we couldn't stay longer.
There are some small flying insects in one of the bathrooms, but hey, it's part of the nature.

We stayed at house 1, and the end of a dirt road. And it was absolutely fabulous. It was big, it was very clean overall, it had a porch with a stunning view and it was very well equipped. We even barbecued because the resort makes sure there is enough propane. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
We liked everything but we do recommend the staff to do some small renovations and replace some kitchen equipment that is old. For example the shower head in one of the bathrooms leaked, the dishwasher was very dirty and the pans were very old and scratched.

Spacious and comfortable. Close to Sequoia National Park .
Wifi and cell service poor. Personally did not
Like having to go over mountains every time we went somewhere- my fault for not researching better.

Very quiet and private. It was nice to have the cabin and deck to ourselves and we made good use of the grill! It came with everything we needed for our stay.
Not the property’s fault but local road closures made getting around challenging. Be warned! Google maps thinks there are roads nearby that … aren’t.

Beautiful location, comfortable room, and great kitchen facilities and BBQ.

It was very quiet, comfortable and clean. Big and beautiful property. Joseph was an excellent host! We faced an unexpected snow storm that made it almost impossible for us to leave the property to catch our flight home and Joseph invaluably helped us clearing the snow (so we could drive off) and even guiding us on the road with his truck, to make sure we could safely drive. Furthermore, due to the storm, we had no electricity and he made sure that we were comfortably installed and provided us with gas cannisters and a generator.
A nice surprise: the presence of very friendly cats and Joseph's friendly dog Lucca.
There were not many hiking possibilities in the local area, and because of road closures the Sequoia park was almost 2h away by car - but the view during the drive is very beautiful. Any store or supermarket is also 1 hour away.

The property was amazing, super pretty and the staff was incredible, helped us all weekend through the storm with everything we needed, made sure we were safe and warm. Would really recommend this place!
nothing, everything was perfect.

The property is HUGE! so much to explore. This land has some interesting history, so it made the stay even MORE fun!!
Joseph the property manager was helpful, kind and accommodating.
it’s under new management/ownership that’s trying to get the whole property into tip-top shape, so there are some areas to improve on but overall, NOTHING got in the way of our wonderful time.

spacious house and great location
9.0
The location was great, the view was beautiful and the house was very clean and cozy. We especially liked the manager who was very welcoming, friendly and helpful!
The only thing that was a bit awkward was the fact that there were supposed to be three rooms, but two rooms were divided by a partial wall. Because we were family and didn't mind sharing spaces, it was okay but it might be something to alert other guests with in case they want the privacy of a fully independent room. Other than that, our stay was incredible!

The location had great access to both Kings Canyon NP and Sequoia NP. We able to enter the Parks from the North and South entrances. Yes, it took a little bit of travel but the roads were good and scenery wonderful.
Unfortunately due to the drought the lake was unavailable. But there was the ability to take a nice walk around the lake. Very peaceful.

Spacious property with wrap around deck and bbq. Very peaceful. close to nature and wildlife.
Wi-Fi not working initially (it had been shut off). it was in an isolated location but owner did not warn visitors to purchase food before arriving. nearest store was 40 minutes away down a single track road.

Quiet, clean, and spacious home near the national forest.
It's remote and dry, near but not in the forest.

It's spacious, quiet, and has everything we need!
We all love it.
6.0
well equipped house, clean and spacious, in a nice surrounding
location although close to nature, is in a 40 minutes drive to parks, and 90 minutes to main attractions of the parks (Sherman tree)
considering the price, it is not a good value for money

Compared to Three Rivers it is a much better location to go see Sequoias. The house we stayed in was very comfortable, super fun stay.
Unfortunately the lake is quite low and not open for swimming. We went to Hume Lake instead, which was excellent.

We had the loveliest time at Sequoia Resort. The owner, Chris bought bouncy balls for my boys before we arrived and gave us them at check in. We decided to stay 2 extra nights and he accommodated and took such good care of us. He even went way out of his way to buy apples for our boys as there were none in the parks. The house we stayed in was huge and perfect for small children with its wide open living room, minimalist decor, and big open deck. We played on the tire swing, tether ball, and basketball hoop. We saw wild turkeys and enjoyed the starry sky at night. Our host could not have been more accommodating.
