Perfectly enjoyable.

Absolutely charming quintessential Oregon coast inn. The room was well appointed and the sea breeze was delightful. Walk to the beach, bask on the front porch, enjoy the quiet of the room. All was good.

We had a great time! Only a block from the beach/ocean. And it was away from all the traffic; yet close to other bea

It was super cute from the outside and the room was really neat.

The room was a bit small, but that’s the type of accommodations for this unique place.

Superb

No breakfast for us, I wasn't told of any food for the morning. Great location, short walk to the beach. Clean room, small but cozy. Nice outdoor gas fireplace. I would recommend this place, we left happy that we chose this motel.

A bigger shower, but that isn't a deal breaker, we enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing wonderful time! Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend!

The staff was so friendly and the room was super clean & comfortable. Great location! We will definitely stay here again. Can’t wait to go back!

This motel is a prescription for a relaxing on the Oregon coast!

We loved the extremely clean, quaint room, the chairs to relax on the wrap around porch, the location is perfect!! The staff was friendly and so helpful!! One block to the beach.

We didn’t like having to leave because It was so relaxing!!!

Great location and incredible value

Super cute and clean room for a great value! Small, but all that I needed for myself and my 9-year-old. If you don’t need space, this is so much better than the dingy old motels at the same price point. The location was fantastic! It’s an easy walk to public beach access- ocean is just across the street. Friendly owners, too!

Nothing, really. My son would’ve appreciated a packet of hot chocolate or apple cider option to go with the coffee supplies.

Cute and convenient to beach.

Convenient to beach access. Rustic cabin-like feel. Nice to have sink outside bathroom. Hosts were very nice.

On my list of places to try again!

So quaint! it’s like time travel is possible when you step in through the stained-glass door into the pine paneled room. the basic creature comforts are there but it just screams “slow down and relax”.

The room I was in only had a shower and I’m a big guy, so that was rough. The window shades need to have a blackout backing as the only provided privacy and didn’t really block the western sun.

It was nicely decorated, loved the wood paneiing. The room was cozy and comfortable.

The heater was noisy and the lighters flickered and dimmed quite often. I was expecting a second bed for my granddaughter.

5 minute walk to the beach, staff friendly and helpful. Cute, rustic room, lots of space, full kitchen. clean room. Quite night. Good value. Safe location.

The shower was very old, looked stained and didn’t feel fresh. needs updating.

100% worth it Every time

The whistling winds is my go to place when in Lincoln City infact it would be my number one go to place everywhere if they had more locations but unfortunately you're stuck with the awesomeness of there one location lol

The question is what didn't I like and I don't have an answer because I've yet to be disappointed

Disappointed

We love the location and the style of the room.

Noise and service. We had noisy neighbors who were yelling and pounding on walls and doors. We did not feel safe. We called the office and left a message because it was after business hours. We ended up calling the police because it sounded like someone was going to get hurt. We then quickly packed up and left about midnight, missing out on our second night there. When we called the next day to tell them what happened and to ask for a discount they offered no apologies, didn't ask us how we were doing and just seemed indifferent to the incident.

Great cottage feel!

I absolutely fell in love with Whistling Winds. It was clean, cozy, quiet and a great location. I loved the feeling of being in my own little cottage. The tongue and groove paneling and ceiling, the antique hardware...all lent to a warm and cozy stay. Plus, the owner was very polite and made me feel at home.

Only thing was the hot water took forever to get hot, but I understand how it can be...I just brewed my coffee while I waited for the shower to warm up.
