La habitación famililar es muy amplia, cómoda y limplia, con una pequeña cocina bien equipada y una mesa para comer allí si querías, todo muy limpio, muy cerca del metro, pero hasta se puede ir a la zona antigua o al Downtown andando y el desalluno estaba bien organizado y rico.
Para llegar a nuestra habitción no era 100% posible por ascensor, no había que subir mucho y nos lo adviertieron en el momento de hacer la reserva, así que en realidad, nada.

The location was perfect for our plans in Plateau and the availability of parking was a welcomed amenity. We had two beautiful balcony/fire escape. It was sunny and quiet and we could easily control the temperature of the room.
The mattress in our room was at the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced. The coils were worn out and the mattress caved in the center and it was soft and springy.

L'emplacement est idéal, à quelques pas du métro Sherbrook !
La chambre est correcte, mais très bruyante. A la fois à cause du bruit de l'extérieur (les passages de camions, camions de déneigement), à la fois avec le bruit du couloir, et le bruit des voisins.
Il n'y a pas d'accès au SPA ... c'est dommage pour les clients qui restent plusieurs nuits à l'hôtel. J'avais envoyé un mail plusieurs semaines avant pour demander des informations sur l'accès au SPA, je n'ai jamais eu de retour.
Le personnel n'est pas très aimable (pas de réponse à mes bonjour/bonsoir).
Le petit déjeuner est correct : du melon, de l'ananas, des yaourts, des viennoiseries, un peu de pain, saumon, jambon, fromage. Rien d'exceptionnel.

Le petit-déjeuner, même si il fallait se rendre dans la rue pour pouvoir accéder à la salle où le prendre.
Nous avons été très déçus de notre séjour dans cet établissement. Nous avons réservé pour pouvoir profiter d’un spa, et quelle surprise fût quand nous avons vu que notre chambre était plus loin dans la rue que la partie accueil/spa/petit déjeuner… nous devons sortir dehors pour pouvoir nous y rendre! Et ne vous y méprenez pas : toute la partie spa est payante, même si c’est inscrit nulle part sur Booking (ah si avec le recul il faut cliquer plusieurs fois pour avoir l’information). Les chambres et couloirs sont vieillissants, mal insonorisés (on entend tout à côté) et pas du tout aussi bien entretenus que l’accueil… quand on réserve un hôtel spa, c’est pour en profiter librement ! Bref très déçus, ce n’est qu’un établissement de façade.

propreté générale de l'hotel à ameliorer. Nombreuses traces au murs dans la chambre, poignée de fenêtre défectueuse, radiateur détérioré, espace repas sale, et petit déjeuné décevant. Emplacement parking (zone poubelle géante) en supplément (20$) et SPA en supplément (45$/p). quartier "compliqué" nombreux SDF au square.

My stay was exceptional at Auberge du Carre St Louis and I even extended my trip an extra day. The reception staff treated me , not like a guest or a stranger , but like a longtime friend or even family member. They also went above and beyond to assist me when I lost my phone off of property (and located it for me!). I absolutely recommend the hotel. Central to plenty of restaurants , bars , neighborhoods/sights to be seen , shopping , and a great jazz club. I missed out on utilizing the spa facilities but each time I was in the lobby, there was someone praising the experience , or entering a session-

The staff is very obliging and cheerful. The place is excellent, the location is very close to metro Sherbrooke, which makes it very convenient to visit Montréal.

They just bought out the neighboring building and renovated the reception, and the host was telling us they're adding a spa as well! We love this place - great location (1 min to Sherbrooke metro and 5 mins to restaurants on St. Denis), rooms are updated and clean, beds are comfy, and it's pretty quiet given the location, too. The rooftop patio is definitely worth a visit - great for grabbing some takeout and having a more relaxing night in. This was our second stay in 3 years - we'll probably stay here for our next trip to Montreal, too.

Location, quiet, nice breakfast, separate entrance, very clean, well provisioned - I didn't expect all the kitchen appliances, dishes and cooking pans. If you are okay with stairs it is a wonderful studio apartment
Website shows hot tub which we were looking forward to using. We were disappointed to learn that it was closed a few years ago during covid but was still listed on the site. They were opening a new spa on the location but it is not free for guests and was not open yet.

It was very clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast, great location.
We stayed two days but The housekeeper did not come in to tidy the room or change the towels after the first day which was disappointing.

The staff ( receptionist and manager) were incredibly friendly and nice..special thanks to Carlos, a really nice gentleman who was always there to help us and give us some tips on the city.
The room was tidy each other day, which is no big deal, however, when the it was supposed to be "cleaned" , in fact they only changed the towels. The bathroom was a bit too dark with that dim light. The breakfast is quite good, just think they could vary it a little bit. We stayed 7 days there and the breakfast was invariably the same every single day.

The room was clean, comfortable and bright with lovely bed linen. It also had a beautifully appointed kitchen that was shared with a few other rooms. We didn't use it but this would be great if you were staying longer. The breakfast was lovely too. The location is great, in the Latin Quarter with a park across the street.
Our room was in another part of the hotel a few doors down. It was upstairs and there was no lift access. This was not made clear to us at the time of booking, though we appreciated the help of a staff member in carrying one of our suitcases up the stairs.

Our selected room was huge, comfortable, clean, and quiet. The kitchenette was a lovely addition. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The area was interesting and enjoyable to walk around in.
If we had had mobility issues, we would have had a real struggle getting to our room. The lobby was sparse and perhaps could use some attention in its details. (Time to get rid of the dead poinsettia!) No view from our room, but that was fine.

Breakfast was amazing!! Room was large and comfortable, with quite extensive kitchen amenities. Location was great - on a less traveled street, but right in the middle of the action - much within walking distance. Parking was convenient.
Sort of weird building configuration - had to step outside briefly to get to the level our room was on, but it wasn't really a problem.
