Angenehme Hütte in der Natur

Die geräumigen Hüttchen liegen in einem parkähnlichen Grundstück verteilt, sodass jede:r ganz nah an der Natur schläft. Die bequemen Betten und die Warmwasserdusche (es wird nachts frisch!) sind sehr angenehm.

Die Einrichtung der Hütten und das Frühstück könnten etwas liebevoller gestaltet sein. Aber das sind nur Details...

We were pleasantly surprised by what we got for the price we paid. Lovely little cabins! Recommend!

Amazing grounds with a hiking trail. The view was lovely. Lots of wildlife around. According to our bird calls app, there were thirty different species of birds around us each morning. The typical breakfast was delicious. They even came in and did our dishes while we were out ziplining!

A Fantastic place to stay in Monteverde

I absolutely loved this place. Our cabin was adorable and clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked. It was so very quiet and peaceful. Sometimes we would hear nothing but the wind for hours. The nature trail was beautiful. We saw and heard tons of birds, aguti, dogs, cats and various interesting vegetation. The price was very good for a cabin with a kitchen, hot water, TV, internet, etc. Town was walkable but the walk was very hilly. There is a great little market directly across the street from the property and you can get food delivered if you're like us and traveling without a car. I would definitely return to this place in a heartbeat.

Superb

Fully equipped one bedroom cabin with kitchen and bathroom. Host was helpful in scheduling night tour of jungle also pointed out a sloth in a tree adjacent to our cabin. Kira the neighbors dog was a bonus. Nice 1 km walking trail around property

Exceptional

The staff were so friendly and made me feel super welcome. This made me feel so reassured seeing as I was travelling alone. The resident dogs were a wonderful addition and kept me company on my walks around the property. The pool was lovely which I had to myself throughout my stay. The cabin was clean and homely. The bed was so comfortable I slept wonderfully. I was awoken with bird song which made my morning and grounds of the property are great for a hike. If I was on monteverde again I would stay here no question. Peace and tranquility

absolutely beautiful property with the most kind and genuine hosts I could have asked for

everyone was so kind and welcoming from the moment I arrived. there is so much to do in monteverde but the hosts helped guide my itinerary and booked all my activities. the property itself is breathtaking and I saw the sloth as well as many birds while walking around. as others have mentioned I think I saw more wildlife wandering the grounds than I did at some of the parks. I ended up extending my stay by 2 nights because I loved it so much. the cabin itself was spacious and very clean. I didn’t cook but the kitchen was fully stocked with stove, toaster oven, microwave, pans, utensils, coffee maker and kettle. had hot water. parking directly outside the cabanas so I was never worried about my car. there is a small mercado right across from the entrance if you need some groceries but don’t want to walk into town.

loved everything. the walk to town is about 15 mins up a steep road which could be a deterrent for some but was never an issue for me.

You get what you pay for!

it was old and outdated. The kitchen smelled like food! Our cabin was next door to someone’s home I think that had those aluminum roofs, well it was windy and something kept hitting it all night and couldn’t sleep! the guy who checked me in wanted me to pay him in cash or through PayPal cuz I got a good deal from booking which I was never told I had to do. regardless at check out I made them charge me in my card.

Great little spot in the mountains, walking distance to town (hilly but doable) and away from the hustle of Santa Elena. Highly recommend this place if staying in the area!

Convenient to go to the local attractions like the cloud forest.

The size of the kitchen and bedroom were very large. The trail is nice with coffee, banana plants and friendly dogs. We saw birds and an agouti in our backyard. There is no air conditioning, but there is a fan.

The bathroom was small. When we went walking on the trail, one of the signs were wrong and we went into an endless loop.

Good place to stay

Nice cabin with fully equipped kitchen. Terrace is cute. Parking directly in front of the house. Small supermarket in front of the entrance gate.

Bathroom could be better but in the end the price is really low, so I would not complain. The place is pretty remote. No way to walk to the village especially not for dinner...

Cabañas La Pradera is a cute family business with a very kind and helpful host Melissa. She is very open minded and if you need information about anything you want to do or about something, she will help you with it (she arrenged our canopy-tour which was awesome). Melissa made time for a chat and to connect which we found very sweet. We didn’t spend much time at the property but it was clean and our accommodation was even more than we thought it would be. Much space, good beds and a good location. If we had more time in the country, we would have stayed longer at this place. Good to know for the next time.

Magical, relaxing end to a busy holiday. Lovely family owned business!

The location is stunning, not far from our excursions and a quick taxi ride to St Elena, also beautiful. We lost a day because of a theft issue back in San Jose so didn’t have time to use the pool, but hopefully will when we return!!

Nothing! Everything was fantastic, from the comfort of our bungalow and the friendliness of the family to the hummingbirds right outside our window drinking nectar from the gorgeous garden’s flowers 🌸
