The apartment was really comfortable, clean and located in a quiet area even if it’s close to Namba centre

Excellent, affordable, spacious family accommodation in great location.

Really loved this place to stay in Osaka - plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers - really spacious bedrooms with a traditional touch - i.e. tatami mat rooms. Bathroom was great with bath, separate toilet was great. Easy to walk to Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi area and a couple of different metro lines. Close to convenience stores, supermarket and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

Some basic items in the kitchen would have been handy - some mugs, some cutlery, a microwave.

The location was perfect. It was walking distance for all the areas I wanted to visit.

Traditional style, quiet and nice room

Traditional style, nice room and accommodations. The bathroom is great and very practical. The apartment is located 5min by walk to Dotonbori! But still a very quiet neighborhood.

A bit small door frames. But depends on the person. There was a kitchenette but we couldn't use it, a plastic board seemed to be glued on it, preventing us from using it. Anyways, we didn't request a kitchen in our booking, tho it could have been a nice bonus .

Quiet Hotel for a good rest

The area was quiet despite being just 550m from the Nipponbashi station and nearby Dotonburi. We slept very well because the bedroom felt like home. The tatami room and decor were made of natural material and yukata was provided for every guest. A very clean bathroom and tub made the stay pleasant. Keyless entry to the hotel and self-check-out made it convenient. The hotel admin contacted us as soon as I made the booking to confirm what time I was arriving- very responsive.

I loved everything about this hotel because it suited us (2 people). However, if there are more than 3 guests, you might find the room a bit small. And if you don't like walking, choose somewhere closer. There is also no Concierge downstairs all the time but he was contactable at all hours.

The tatami floors had a smell that I couldn't handle. It was slightly off putting, and I therefore did not stay at this accomodation.

When we return to Osaka, we will definitely stay in the same hotel

The hotel is in the old Japanese style, the location is excellent, next to the hotel there is a laundry and many restaurants, approximately 10 minutes on foot to the well-known street, self-checkout from the hotel, we do not need to go to the staff to check us out, The room service staff are polite, they don't disturb us in the morning and they don't knock on the door while we are sleeping in the morning

Traditional but not for us

Close to the main areas of Osaka. We loved the traditional vibe of the hotel.

The floor mattresses need replaced as they had a bit of a smell to them. Also, it was difficult communicating with the hotel staff as a couple didn't speak English.

Great location for Dotonbori and a nice tatami experience

It was our first tatami experience and it was great. The hotel is around 15 min walking distance to metro stations and to Dotonbori so it was very easy to get around anywhere in Osaka.

Great size room and property kept clean and tidy as a whole.

Noisy neighbours on first night and cleaning staff showed up to clean room after 3pm one afternoon when i had gotten back for the day.

Good location. close to metro and also alot in walking distance. Easy self check in and check out. Beds comfy but no other seating areas other than the beds.

Not much storage place. Shelf in bathroom would be great. Pillows are very hard.

Fine but not special

Great location, 10 min walk to Dotonbori. Spacious - it’s actually an apartment block with each one bedroom apartment converted into a hotel room.

The hotel reception is around the corner in another building. We weren’t told this until we read a sign on the front door. Instructions via the app would have been easier when they emailed to ask when we would arrive. There is no charm or personality to the hotel - it’s a modern apartment block made to look like a ryokan. Hotel staff did not speak English - they had a book with English instructions to read through to be checked in. No bin in bathroom. Nowhere to hang coats. Bed was a 10cm thick mattress on the floor - very uncomfortable and unlike real ryokans.

Just be aware that it can be a little loud at night will drunk people wandering down the road.

Quiet, clean, and spacious japanese-style rooms near the canal

It's in a quiet area yet near enough for a quick walk to busy Dotonbori. Check in was easy and the sleeping room size is large and comfortable. The futons and pillows were comfortable as well. The hotel is a japanese-style room in an apartment building with an elevator. There is a small kitchenette but you can't cook on the stove. Thank you housekeeping for taking good care of my quokka :) I think he really likes the futon too!

Reception is not available 24 hours, so if you need a taxi in the early hours of the morning, you have to go to the main road to hail one as there is no one available to call you a taxi. Not really a bummer, but more an FYI as I am used to hotels having 24 hour reception.
