Unique spa setting.

The uniqueness of the property and the location on a private island. More like a spa than a hotel.

Breakfast was brought to our room but the toast was not buttered, we were missing the sausages that we ordered, and the tea came without milk or sugar.

A good stay.

The location of the property is awesome. Breakfast is good. A place to spend atleast 2-3 nights and cut-off yourself from the rest of the world.

The only negative about the property is the room in the lower/basement floor. The sill of the windows is high and seems like you are staying in a basement. Even with this, the rooms are nice.

Good value property

Nice rooms and building. Accommodating staff. Property is nice and the spa is pretty decent, even if it had to be paid for separately. Breakfast is very nice and actually delivered to room.

Can hear traffic noise at different times of day, so it's not as peaceful as you'd imagine. I found dark hair on the sheets and in the bathtub - the worst, biggest pet peeve. This happens often, but this time was worse because it actually snuck under my night clothes. And it's a far drive from Montreal on crappy roads.

phenomenal outdoor spa with heated pools saunas , friendly staff and unique location . great value for the money . 10

we loved loved the spa ! we stayed in the midst of winter , the heated outdoor pools and saunas were just perfect cozy way how to spent the snowy days ! the outdoor spa area is a gem and reminds me so much of Nordic-type mineral spas back home in Europe ! stuff was extremely accommodating and helpful fluent in both French and English .

stop can add slight minus to the location it’s further away fork Montreal center and it can be struggle to get in there especially when driving in the traffic rush but at the same time I loved the fact we were staying at the island secluded from everything else , it adds to the uniqueness of the spa and entire property!

Cery relaxing and quiet site for the time I stayed.

Very unique property very different from the cookie cutter hotels I normally stay for work. The spas and hot tubs were a welcome relief after work each day.

A bit disappointed that the restaurant and /or bistro not open more. For someone working early breakfast being brought at 8:30-9:30 did not align. The front desk did give me some food the night before.

Great location with a nice spa but short staffed and sparse room.

Location was great

The room was very sparsely furnished. we had a coffee machine but no pods to put in it. This became a problem- we wanted a cup of tea after 20:00 but the front desk was closed and all the staff gone. The smoke detector was missing. I mentioned this to both desk clerks and they seemed unconcerned. The room also had a very strong smell of cleaner (maybe the previous guest was a smoker, disconnected the smoke alarm then the cleaning crew had to cover the smell up). The smell did dissipate with the windows open while we went to dinner.

In addition The room was in the basement. if you do not ask even when you are given the key, it is definitely not reported and you are shocked. It was a terrible experience to see the air conditioner and the building opposite instead of the view in nature. It has to be stated in the hotel system that the room is in the basement. This is a very important issue for a hotel where you go for the view and nature. Also, you have to eat breakfast in your small dark room, not in a restaurant environment. You can see this in the note that says when you come to your room! The breakfast you had to eat in the dark room was also a concern about hygiene with blackened apple slices. 6 slices of blackened apple for 2 people! It was like a boarding school! Sleeping by the lamplight complete with a spider web and a spider next to your bed was like a horror movie. We waited for half an hour for the attendant who spoke on the phone both during check-in and check-out. Unfortunately, he continued to speak without apologizing. Please don't be fooled by the photos!

The location is good.

1. I paid CAD320 for one night. The booking website shows me that the price included a sauna and outside pool. However, when I did check-in they said that it's not included and offered me the services for cad35 plus each person.

Tranquil and peaceful - beautiful spa.

The spa and gardens were lovely. Definitely a place to come for the day and relax or meditate. I stayed the night but could only check in at 4, so I didn't have as much time as I would have like. Another time I would have come earlier to enjoy the spa area. The on-site bistro is fine for a snack or lunch, but not really for dinner. One would have to leave the site to get to a place for a nice dinner. The buffet breakfast was ok (fresh warm croissants!) but everything was cold (hardboiled eggs) and the jam selection was mediocre. For the price I would have expected something a little more special.

Oddly- the lighting in my room was not very good. There was an additional lamp in my room which I moved to the table (where I was writing) but it was still not great.

Very disappointed 😞

The massage was good. They were great at there job and made it really comfortable.

My husband and I finally got a night out. we got there the pool was closed the air conditioning was broken the owner sent us downstairs for a drink he was really nice .the girl at the bar sent us outside said she would bring it to us she forgot us within 5 mins . The girl at the front desk couldn't answer a simple question about supper we ended up going somewhere eles. They close the hot tubs at 9 as adults it would of been nice to at least 11 so we ended up not using the baths and pool. We get to our room nothing english to watch on TV so we watch a show on our phones and fell asleep at 10:30 . Breakfast the next morning was a disappointment they had squashed croissant and cold over cooked hard boiled eggs after that we decided to leave early i was disappointed 😞 I just wanted one night away.

a great stay if you don’t care for friendly environment.

if you want to relax, is a great place to go. the sauna is awesome and the nature around is gorgeous !

the staff are very unfriendly. also it is the 2nd time that I call them to refund my deposit - I left voice message as well- and they said they forgot. They apologized but my 200 CAD is still there.

Disappointing

I like the location and hot tubs.

I booked 2 massages from 2 weeks before my stay since it was our anniversary. when I get there, reception told me their system is messed up and no reservation is here for my massage. She apologized and asked for my phone number to give it to the owner or manager to call me and compensate the mess for me. Today is almost two month after the incident and no one called me.
