The location of these villas is fantastic. Only minutes from Central Ubud but surrounded by beautiful rice fields (15 minute downhill walk to the centre). The high-ceilinged rooms were amazing with great air conditioning. Beds and pillows were excellent. The 24/7 moto taxi service to drop guests into town and pick up after was so helpful (this is how you actually arrive there, along with your luggage)! Cars cannot make it up the narrow road to this property. The included breakfast had some simple Indonesian and Western choices but served up in a fantastic setting. The walks through the rice fields that you can start from the villas were some of the best we enjoyed in the Ubud area. Lovely pool area too. We really liked this property and its location - we’d certainly stay there again.

Вилла очень хорошая, находится рядом с рисовыми полями, в тишине, уюте и очень близко к природе. Кому-то не нравятся маленькие муравьи или другая живность, но это не минус, а плюс, в моей комнате жил маленький геккон, иногда он пищал, сидя на окне внутри. Кровать широкая и над ней висит балдахин, поэтому ночью никто не закусает. Вообще комаров и мух я мало видел. Потолки высокие, а ванная комната - это чудо какое-то! из каменной ванной вечером видно звёздное небо и можно делать кучу крутых фоток, потому что она на улице! Но вас никто не увидит. Сделал кучу крутых фото. Кондиционер и Wi-fi прекрасно работают и делают своё дело. Утренние завтраки хороши и есть выбор небольшой. Очень приветливые хозяева и вся локация в целом. Прогулки вдоль полей до отеля и города. Я просто кайфовал находясь там в комфорте так близко к местной природе. Ещё там есть небольшой бассейн) Всю неделю я охотился на местного геккона, размером с ладошку, но их не стоит бояться - они хороший признак.
Добраться можно действительно только на мопеде, но отель поможет вам, просто напишите или скажите им.
Немного тонкие стены могут быть, если ваши соседи шумные, но в целом вечером достаточно тихо вокруг.

As repeat customers before, we have had two wonderful stats at this hotel. It is in a beautiful spot in the paddy fields. Staff were always very friendly and helpful.
Our expectations were high. The place is now rather rundown, especially the pool area. Two broken shabby umbrellas and uneven paving. Never received afternoon tea as described. Building extension to kitchen. Biggest disappointment was the scooter transfers. They used to pick up and drop off at Starbucks but now it's at a car park 10 mins out of centre along a badly lit road. Our last night, they neglected to pick us up un till second attempt to message and we were waiting in the monsoon for nearly an hour. Pitch black and very dangerous for any young girls!

Está situado en el centro, pero para llegar al hotel te van a buscar en moto, ya que los coches no llegan, y eso no lo dice por ningún lado a la hora de reservar. El hotel se encarga del desplazamiento, pero nos resultó bastante incómodo. Le hace falta una lavada de cara a la habitación, mucha humedad en todas las paredes. Las cortinas tanto de la puerta, como la mosquitera, se ven viejas.

The hotel is located on a rice terrace with no car access so hotel staff pick you up from the city centre in motorbikes. This was a really fun and unexpected experience. They provide a 24 hr scooter shuttle service to the city centre upon request and from there you can order a grab or explore shops and restaurants on foot. Rooms are large and have all basic amenities you would need.
Mosquito net around bed needed a clean as we could see dead bugs trapped in there. There is no kettle for tea and coffee in room.

車が通れないのでバイクで送迎することが案内に書いてなかったので驚いた。バスタブが汚くてお風呂に入れなかった‥部屋の前が田んぼで部屋との間隔が狭くそこが通路になっているのですぐ前を人が通るので落ちつかない。一棟２部屋で隣の部屋との間には壁があるけど隣の棟との間に仕切りがないのでお互いのテラスが丸見えになる。部屋は狭くクーラーの冷風がベッドを真横から直撃するので喉を痛めた。レストランの隅が工事中で瓦礫が積んであった

We liked the view and the staff was nice. There's is also a scooter service to take you to and from the center.
The scooter service was supposed to be 24/7, but one night the reception didn't respond so we had to walk all the way back. The sink was broken (water didn't go down). No warm water. A lot of times the staff was not at the reception.

Very cute setting and staff were lovely. They also provided us with a taxi to Canguu and the driver was fantastic.
It is in the rice fields which although is lovely, its just so out of the way. Staff picked us up and dropped us off at the car park which is great but we would have preferred to stay somewhere more central. The rooster that wakes us up at 6am wasn’t ideal and there were so many ants but this is expected in such a setting.

The views from villa are really nice. Own pool is really good and also there is children pool in main area. In the breakfast there were plenty of options too choose from. Room was clean.
Location is pretty remote. We were traveling with kids and the only way to get to the villa is by scooter (street is too narrow for car). If you take this into consideration, the villa is really peaceful.

Location was fabulous, took us by surprise riding scooters through rice fields to get to accommodation, which was a fun experience. Masia pillows on the beds were amazing. The staff were super helpful. Peaceful location. Roosters, chickens, ducks and even fire flies!
Stayed in the end villa, the shower water pressure was very low in the afternoon and outside bath was unusable due to faulty plug and cracks in bath, which was disappointing. Bathroom ceiling cornice repairs required above the master bathroom door (exit to pool).

Prachtig uitzicht over de rijstvelden, heerlijk bed met schone lakens, super lief personeel, ze geven je een drop off in het centrum achterop de scooter als je erom vraagt. Mooi bad en fijne douche buiten.
De drop offs waren zonder helm. De kamer was vies, er lagen hoopjes dode mieren en er zat aanslag op de wc bril. Schone handdoeken kreeg je pas als je erom vroeg. Stel je niet te veel voor bij het ontbijt. Neem oordoppen mee als je niet om 4 uur in de ochtend gewekt wilt worden door de hanen. Er zitten inderdaad wat mieren en gekko's in de kamer, maar dat past bij een locatie in de natuur.

The Villa is situated in a quiet area in the middle
of the rice fields. The surrounding area is beautiful, but hard to access for anyone who is elderly or with mobility issues. You have to take a scooter to get to the property from Ubud town centre (or walk). There are some great walks and little warungs fairly close by. I experienced a nice facial in the room.
The breakfast was average to below average (for the price paid), when compared with other villas/accommodation in Bali. Only the very basics are provided. The restaurant is only open for breakfast. The resort needs some work. It appeared a little ‘tired’ and ‘unloved’. Staff were fairly pleasant, but not friendly like other accommodation options I’ve experienced in Bali. The room was fairly clean but only provided the very basics and very minimum water, which was not resupplied on day 2. We didn’t have any pool towels supplied. The outside pool area was very basic. There was no umbrella and all the pots surrounding the pool had dead plants. The private pool was quite nice and a good size but is very exposed. I felt the price didn’t match what was supplied/experienced. It was a bit disappointing and had appeared a lot better in the advertisements.

My wife and I had the most memorable time staying at Masia. From the staff to the location, everything was perfect. The value for money is ridiculous. The service was also amazing and the lifts to and from the Villa was incredibly helpful.
We will be recommending Masia Villa to all our friends!

Lovely small hotel on the rice field. Very rustic and tranquil
No soundproofing whatsoever. You will hear both the crowing of roosters at 5 am and the neighbours’ conversations.

Staff is always smiled, helpful, take care of you. They give you always a ride by the scooter to reach Ubud center. I recommend when you want to have a place where you do not hear sounds of Ubud main street and close to rice tarraces.
I would clean the bathtube (quick clean up with the pressure washer) and exchange light switches, Look at the photos. I like sitting at the tarrace in the evening, please bare in mind the the tarrace is next to sidewalk which leads to other villas. As a little improvement I would install something between tarrace and sidewalk (fence, smth Green) as people crossing your villa looking at you. The same with the swimming pool.

The setting is really beautiful, quiet, and safe, and I feel like it could be an amazing place with a little more attention to detail. The gardens are gorgeous, and the accommodation is spacious. It's about a 15/ 20 minute walk from the main road, which isn't that far. I requested a cake for my son's birthday the day we arrived which was complementary and a really nice touch. The restaurant only serves breakfast.
I felt it just wasn't that clean. There were water/scum marks on the shower head, taps, shower glass, and toilet. The towels and bed linen were clean but smelled musty. The floors were clean, but only in the central parts. It felt like the cleaning was rushed and not thorough enough. A ball of hair lay in the shower drain for 4 of the 5 days we were there. We stayed in one of the 2 bed villas, and there were gaps around all of the doors, so it was quite open to insects. There were also damp patches on the bedroom walls.
This probably wouldn't be an issue for most people, but there were 5 of us, and the sofa bed on the listing doesn't exist. They tried to charge us for an extra bed, and the response from the staff when shown the listing details was to insist that a sofa bed doesn't mean it's a bed. After 2 days of discussion and eventually contacting Booking.com, they finally agreed not to apply the additional nightly charge, but I thought it shouldn't have taken that much effort on my part to get what was on the listing.

The villa is located outside central Ubud and can only be accessed by a bike, or a very long walk. The staff will drop you in town and pick you up as required. The location is quiet and picturesque, the villa is very comfortable, the staff are helpful and the breakfasts are good.
If the staff are transporting guests to Ubud, there is no staff at reception. Not a big issue but we had to wait around for the staff to return if we need to speak with someone. The only meal available at the villas is breakfast, you need to order other meals and get them delivered to the villas. Our 2 bedroom villa didn't have a lounge area, only a dining room with a table & chairs.

The place was amazing and the staff excellent. The villa is al bit outside the city center, enough to be away from all the noises and traffic but only 10 minutes be walk from city center. The villa is not accessible by car so no noise at all, but the staff members were very polite to drive us with the motorbikes to and from the city any time we needed. One day we needed to have an early start and they drives us at 4:30 to find our driver in the city center. We totally recommend the place and we are definitely coming back.
