1vaut le déplacement pour la chambre.

Chambres très spacieuses, literie confortable. Présence d'u ascenseur.

Salle de petit-déjeuner triste au possible. Manque d'éclairage. Pas de possibilité d'œuf au petit-déjeuner et pain sorti du congélateur. Personnel juste aimable sans plus (problème de règlement). Terrasse décevante.

Most beautiful riad I have stayed in yet

The riad is phenomenal and ornate. The room was beautiful and spacious. The staff were nice and the spa experience was wonderful.

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Mumtaz Mahal and I must say, it was an enchanting experience that transported me to a bygone era. The architecture of this hotel is nothing short of breathtaking, making me feel like I had stepped into a different century altogether. Every corner of the hotel exudes an aura of historical grandeur, from the intricately designed archways to the beautifully adorned domes. The attention to detail in replicating the architectural styles of centuries past is truly commendable. The exquisite carvings, ornate patterns, and delicate motifs adorning the walls and ceilings were a visual feast for the eyes. As I walked through the corridors and lounges, I couldn't help but imagine the lives of those who might have lived in such splendid surroundings. What I found particularly captivating was the seamless blend of modern comfort with timeless elegance. The rooms were luxuriously appointed with all the amenities one could ask for, yet the architectural elements remained true to the historical theme. It was as if I was living in a palace from another era, complete with modern-day conveniences. The courtyard, with its lush gardens and serene water features, was a perfect spot to unwind and soak in the atmosphere. It felt like I was transported back in time, enjoying the tranquility of a distant past while being pampered with the service and hospitality of the present. The staff at Hotel Mumtaz Mahal were warm, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring a memorable stay. They were more than willing to share insights about the history and architecture of the hotel, adding an extra layer of depth to my experience.

Great stay with some points of improvement for that price point.

I really liked the big spacious rooms, with a nice big bad and bathroom. The breakfast was also very delicious and the staff who served us was very helpful and motivated every day. It was a pleasure.

The personnel behind the counter wasn’t very helpful. They didn’t show us the room and they gave off the impression that we bothered them whenever when we asked a question. In addition, we had to pay in cash which was not mentioned before and therefore was a bit of a hassle. A big part of the ATM’s did not work properly. They told us the machine to pay with card was broken, however I can read in many reviews that this has been the case for a while.

the architecture the attention to detail the rooms - the best looking rooms I’ve stayed in. I extended my stay by 10 because I loved it so much

Beautiful environment to enjoy Essaouira.

It’s absolutely gorgeous! Every surface is a visual feast. Friendly staff. A wonderful breakfast on the roof each day.

The Wi-Fi on the second floor was poor or didn’t work at all.

Easy to get there with a 2 minutes walk (parking / drop off is nearby); quiet position, short distance to beach / souk ; huge room. Nice staff , good breakfast on terrace (which was a bit of contrast to the rest of the nice riad) ; Hammam/Spa with friendly staff ;

Some new chairs on the rooftop would be nice;

Location was convenient, could walk everywhere. Very close to Medinah. Riad was beautiful, huge room, generous breakfast and in house spa was amazing! Hamam and massage.

Huge rooms. Massive deep bath,. powerful hot shower. Beautiful Rooftop Terrace and views. Bed was so comfortable .Wonderful Main Meal's and Breakfast. Amazing helpful staff, Spa Fantastic. The location is amazing and easy to navigate. Decor is absolutely stunning. Top Value for money and I will return.

A spectacular hotel with giant comfy beds

The hotel is spectacular, amazing architecture and decoration. The bed is the biggest I've ever seen and so comfy, lovely hot shower and the breakfast is really good, lots of food. The staff are all so lovely and helpful and speak great English as well as French. Location is perfect for everything, two mins to the bech, the port and it's right in the medina so perfect for exploring the souks, city wall, etc.

I was excited for the massive and spectacular looking bathtub, but it would take about four hours to fill, and by the time it's even ankle deep, the water is gone cold already, but the shower was lovely so wasn't a problem and they also have a hammam downstairs so you can just do that instead:)

The decoration of the riad is absolutely incredible, Massive and beautiful bath and great room. The location is PERFECT! Ocean view from the rooftop :)

No possible to pay by card Some smell is definitely coming from plumbing. The rooftop could have better equipment and the breakfast room could be a little bit warmer atmostphere (music or some Nice lights maybe?)

Great location within Medina, yet very close to the sea and beach, very stylish Riad, palace-like, great and spacious rooms, delicious breakfast (mainly sweet options though), great staff.

The rooftop was the only place that lacked some charm, it could become a great place though to relax and enjoy sunsets.

Feel like you are in a palace! Arabian night experience

It was a beautiful decorated riad and the receptionist was soooo lovely. I loved the giant bath tub and 60 min of foot massage. The room was so spacious and the decorations of the tiles were breathtaking.

Initially I got a black and red room and didn’t like the darkness of the room. I asked the lady to change. I got a red and grey room which was better but there was no window to get sunlight.

Riad in perfect location! Stunning decor +biggest bed I’ve ever slept in with a nice firm mattress!

This is probably the best Riad in Essaouira. Perfect location, just inside the median wall so quick walk to the beach but also quick walk into the hustle of the medina. It’s located just off a main walkway but down a slightly quieter street so feels really safe and secure. I’d highly recommend the Hamam at Mumtaz Mahal even if you don’t get a chance to stay.

Nothing we didn’t like! The breakfast was huge and always served with a smile. Same thing everyday though which got a little boring after 4 days.

Gorgeous place, but hospitality could be improved, not much was done to make our stay comfortable

The architecture is beautiful, bathroom was well equipped and water pressure was great. The location was perfect - right in between the beach and the Medina with several great food options nearby.

The room wasn’t ready when we arrived even though we had indicated an accurate time of arrival. We couldn’t pay by card and this had not been mentioned at the time of booking, we had to go to the bank nearby to get cash instead. Pillowcases did not seem cleaned - there were dirt marks on one and the other was ripped. All other places we stayed at in Morocco provided a water bottle and mint tea but we did not receive either here. Finally, there is a city bell that rings throughout the night, although this may be heard in other riads as well.

This is the one of most beautiful hotel i have ever visit ! Is like a museum ! Rooms might be a little dark but i found this was part of the magic. Breakfast is good ,quite similar in fact as those you can have in whole Morocco.

Water in the shower and bath tub does not drain properly.Mind that the hotel only accepts cash.
