The bamboo huts a beautiful and spacious with a beautiful sea view.
The food tastes really good.
The island is beautiful and has nice snorkeling spots.
Hennel and Ely from the staff are absolute gems!
Almost everything was very disappointing considering the high price you pay! The total costs for the entire stay are a bad joke as you pay extra for every meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner)!
The whole facility appears unkempt and poorly maintained. The toilets and showers are in a dilapidated condition and are cleaned infrequently.
There is only brackish water for showering and washing. Most of the solar lights on the stairs of the huts do not work. The ashtray in the smoking area is apparently only cleaned once a day and is constantly full.
There are not enough deck chairs (only 4 or 6) for all guests. The available deck chairs are permanently occupied. Furthermore, the deck chairs and the cushions are dirty and don't seem to be cleaned at all. Broken items are lying around and will only be repaired after days. The seating in the lounge and dining area is not wiped down very often, so fresh clothes become very dirty in a very short time.
Food orders were forgotten several times. When I asked directly in the kitchen after 45 minutes, I was told that they were already preparing the food, even though they weren't busy cooking... After a total of an hour we had our food.
There are a few pigs on the property that are fed daily on the beach. This is offered to guests as a “fun” highlight. The problem, however, is that one of the pigs keeps breaking out of its stable and searching for food on its own. Sometimes it runs around the lounge area and gnaws on guests' backpacks because there might be something edible in them. I was able to observe it several times behind the kitchen as it searched the used plates in the sink for leftover food. This is pretty disgusting!
Depending on how the wind blows, the entire facility smells of pig feces. This is disgusting!
Almost all employees are very inattentive and constantly busy with their cell phones watching funny videos or making video calls.

One heck of an experience! The team are fantastic and will always have something planned for you if you want to do something other than relax.
A perfect remote place to recharge your batteries and the food in the evening cooked by the island chef was superb!
Kudos to all who help make this experience possible - can’t recommend this enough if you’re looking for something different in El Nido.
Big shout out to whoever is in charge of communications too, transfers and pick ups very very well organised.

Great experience overall. The huts are beautiful and with an incredible view and the beach is great. It is a bit rocky in some areas but they provide free shoes for safety and also a free kayak. The vibe is very relaxed, most people were young-ish couples and we got to know each other during dinner which is shared in a common table. Loved the bonfire at night with live music with guitar.
Food portions could be bigger during lunch but it was very tasty.

Absolutely stunning island on the east coast of El Nido. Very far from everything but still pretty easy to get to. Last little bit on a boat. Reception with a welcome drink. Accommodation was ready for us so could move straight in. Beautiful island/beach style individual palm leaf houses on stilts. We had a large one. 2 singles and one double. Comfortable space. Beautiful view.
Fabulous staff. We were looked after very well. Allot of activities. Also in the evening. There was a full moon party. Camp fire every evening. Karaoke.
The snorkeling by the ship wreck was very beautiful. But go early because at around 11 or so tour boats start to show up and the water becomes less clear.
The village people are lovely. You can visit any time. The children love to interact.
Unfortunately we had the house that was closest to the generator. Very loud all night and also at moments during the day.
I missed a table of some sort to put things on. There is one small shelving unit but not enough for us three. There were only two chairs in a 4 person accommodation of which one I had to use as a table.
The snorkeling gear is all defective. We did not have our own so a bit of a problem.

Enjoyed the activities and the island location. The staff were good, volleyball, workout session and island tour all good fun and the wreck snorkel a highlight.
Access is difficult (don't book an early flight) but we were accommodated well by the staff. No toiletries supplied and four showers to share between everyone. Electricity cut out during the night rendering the fan useless. Two nights is plenty. For the price charged food and drink should be included not extra. No option to pay by card either.

The island Experience penso sia stata la cosa più bella fatta nella mia vacanza nelle Filippine. Il posto è un paradiso terrestre, le ragazze dello staff sono gentili, simpatiche e sorridenti. Si mangia tutto insieme e c’è un bellissimo clima di amicizia tra tutti gli ospiti. Dormire così non ha prezzo, addormentarsi con le onde del mare e risvegliarvi con brezza marina, è stato stupendo. Lo consiglio assolutamente a tutti. Incredibile. Non vi dovete preoccupare per la questione insetti/zanzare perché c’è ne sono pochissimi. Le docce e i bagni sono in comune ma sempre puliti e tutti gli ospiti si comportano bene per mantenerli così

Une expérience totalement hors du temps !! Accueil en musique et avec un verre de bienvenue, on est directement dans l'ambiance de ce lieu paradisiaque !!! Les cabanes sont fantastiques, avec vue imprenable sur l'eau turquoise de la baie !! De nombreuses activités sont proposées et tout le personnel ainsi que les bénévoles sont adorables !! Le repas du soir était juste fantastique avec un énorme thon et pleins d'accompagnements délicieux, bravo à toute l'équipe !! Un endroit à découvrir absolument pour se couper du monde !!

Es un sitio con magia. Dormir en esas cabañas, ver los mejores amaneceres de Filipinas, hacer snorkel en esas aguas, sin duda el mejor alojamiento para evadirte unos días antes o después del ajetreo del viaje. Destacar el trato de todo el personal y sobre todo de Hennel, que nos hizo sentir como si fuéramos todos familia. Y la comida la mejor que hemos comido en todo el viaje. Of course - this is all about the experience! And what a great experience it is.
Our hut was lovely - overlooking the sea.
Facilities were better than I expected. And everything was clean!
Staff were friendly and helpful - it was nice to see volunteers there, too.
The island itself is beautiful, with Isla offering lots of good activities and chances to join in stuff such as karaoke, having a bonfire on the beach and feeding the pigs in the sea! The shipwreck nearby is definitely worth the short swim - with some of the most amazing fish and coral. And at least 100 starfish on the swim to it.
Think the food was a little overpriced for the portion size and option - but was tasty. And the drinks were also overpriced - compared to other hotels we've stayed at during our visit - being on the island you have no choice but to buy from them.
Think the activities that you had to pay for were a little overpriced also such as renting a kayak and massages.

The whole experience was surreal from start to finish. The island is beautiful and the staff are lovely. We were upgraded to a bigger hut for free as one was available. The facilities on the island are fab - free use of snorkel and mask, good Wi-Fi, amazing fresh food cooked for your everyday, volleyball, books, games etc. The island also looks after some gorgeous pigs that you can take down to the water to feed, Betty was my favourite. The coral reefs surrounding the island are definitely some of the most impressive I experienced in the Philippines and swimming out to the shipwreck to explore the sea life there was amazing. We met some other travellers which was lovely and even saw fireflies one evening. The island experience is bliss and one of my favourite memories from travelling the Philippines. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

The staff were amazing!! They got really involved with us. They played cards with us, took us on tours and did karaoke and dancing in the evenings. They were really welcoming and allowed us to really enjoy our experience. The huts were really cute and the food was enjoyable and reasonably priced. We will 100% be back, we loved our stay!!!

I could not rave more about this incredibly unique and beautiful experience. Everything about it from start to finish was just breathtaking. The food was fresh and delicious, the huts were so serene and beautiful and the staff were beyond accommodating and friendly. Even just 24 hours and I felt like I had made some amazing friends.

the people are very supportive throughout the stay, especially Henel, the manager and the volunteers! it feels like a family there with all the bonding activities. They are also helpful to solving my problems on the road. Pleasant stay!

The island is amazing, you really feel like on a private island. You get free transfer on the boat. The cottage is really basic but the view to clear blue water is worth it. The staff is nice and helpful. It very calm and quiet so you can truly relax.
Two plugs in the house so you are not completely cut from electricity. Comfy beds.
Outside bathrooms- were clean but still uncomfortable to use. Sand literally everywhere- you dont know how annoying that will be, especially when going to bed. House was hot- we thought there will be some breeze at night, but no, fans full on and sweating. No service on your phone. Get cash for food and drinks- they are quite prices as for their standards but its on an island so its understandable.

We loved the Isla experience. The island is amazing and we enjoyed the snorkelling and the beach. You can simply relax and forget everything
The team is trying to make the experience great for you and they organise the way to come and leave the island. They also organise tours around the island or give you advice if you want to explore it by yourself.
Facilities are great and clean. We had a nice sleep and the bathroom facilities were very clean.
At night, they organised a karaoke night. You can join if you want or listen to the talent of some members from the Isla experience. Just to say that if you don't want, you don't have to join or participate.
Night views of the stars and of the moon.
Food is good but as it is a buffet breakfast/lunch and dinner for some people this meant that they didn't have the chance to get as much or their preferred type of food. Also, it is served at specific time of the day. Having said, we asked them to reserve our lunch one day and they did that for us.

overpriced, noisy, local staff working 12 hour shifts while western volunteers do very little, being charged for every meal despite already paying a mark up price for the room, which was not particularly clean or comfortable. Fan didn’t work despite scorching nights.
