Affordable property with access to monkeys

Loved the villa and the location was away from the crowd. Loved seeing so many monkeys. The staff was super kind and helpful.

Next to the monkey forest shortcut that all the motorbikes drive on. It got loud with the motorbikes beeping their horns and driving past.

Ubud

The staff were super friendly and they clean the room and gave us bottle of water every day. The area was quiet and the pool amazing. The room were very comfortable and has everything we need. The location was great because we had several restaurants and coffee shops around.

Is very close to monkey forest and to go to the center of Ubud you have to cross a road next to the forest.

Exceptional

Amazing villa, loved the private pool...used it every day. The bed was really comfy and the shower amazing. The breakfast was ok, the best thing was the pancakes, yummm.

The TV didn't work, but to be honest, we didn't need it much.

Was very private, as it was next to the monkey Forest we could see monkeys everyday in the trees next to the villa. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and nice cozy villa.

fantastic location. Right in between the hustle bustle of Ubud Main Street and the peacefully backalley of Ubud. the outdoor bathrooms were aesthetically done up. Staff were super friendly and attentive.

they had extra charge for payment by credit card. The room flooring is ugly tiles.

A beautiful property with amazing staff and location

We had a really lovely time at this property. The location was excellent, breakfast was lovely, the staff were always very friendly and helpful and the villa itself was very nice! We loved having our own pool and it felt like our own private oasis. Can’t wait to go back there one day!

I would stay here over and over again no problem but the rooms aren’t sealed from the outside so you can hear a bit from the neighbours villa

Fantastic place, awesome location.

The food at the accommodation wasn't great at all. So that needs abit of improvement. But other than that it was great and really enjoyed our 2 nights here

Good value for the money, nice location, very nice staff.

We like the approach of the staff, very nice and kind. The accommodation was always watched by the staff to prevent anyone from outside to come in. The rooms have a nice design. Wifi available with no problems. Pool is very nice with warm water.

The rooms are not much sound proof, you can actually hear what other do in other rooms. The rooms are well connected with the nature. I accidentally got a passenger in my suitcase traveling over a half of world back to Europe with me - a cockroach.

Monkey View

The staff were very friendly and helpful and were always available. The villa felt private, away from the others. The location was right next to the monkey forest... could even see monkeys swinging in the trees every afternoon from our pool area! The housekeeping offered was immaculate.

At some times it felt like the bedroom was semi outdoors too... the room was definitely not fully sealed from outside with 2 frogs crawling into our room during our stay. There would also often be ants crawling on or around the toilet which wasn't super pleasant. However, these things should be expected when staying at a semi-outdoor villa right next to a rainforest! Also, the staff would clean the bathroom completely during daily housekeeping, removing all the ants for a few hours

absolute pleasure to stay, will be back for sure

the spacious outdoor area, the truly authentic villa experience with a plunge pool and fascinating semi-outdoor area shower/toilet and the added bonus of being right near the Monkey Forest with the pleasure of monkeys jumping on your roof (not scary at all, you are 100% safe and secure and it’s only early in mornings for a brief period of time)

the long driveway in to the property, but it really wasn’t much of a problem

Great Value for Money - Staff are Kind

The property had a great location near lots of local little restaurants and 3 minute walk to Ubud busiest streets. the room was cleaned to an immaculate level each day, we even knocked off pool tile by mistake and it was fixed the next day (I didn’t even get around to telling them it had broken) we booked a private villa with a pool - we loved it! we felt completely comfortable inside, the Villa allowed us to double lock it when leaving for extra security I got sick with Bali belly and the hotel arranged for ginger tea to settle my tummy and dry toast. when I tried to pay for this at the end they said it was complimentary due to being unwell

Not an issue for me but be aware that monkeys, ants, bugs are in outdoor area often due to the proximity of the rain forest

wonderful place for a quiet private weekend opposite the monkey Forrest with private pool villa

unique and special from the comfy four poster bed to the monkey on the roof we loved this place.

no satellite channels or smart tv maybe provide a DVD player

Superb

Absolutely loved our stay at Umaya. only there for 2 nights but we could have stayed much longer. our private hills was spectacular. staff were friendly and helpful, massage was amazing. close to many restaurants and bars. right next to monkey forest so it was exciting for the kids. would absolutely recommend this place. we’ll be back for sure.

Great budget stay in good location.

A great budget stay in a good location. Was very clean. Outside bathroom was great and unique. Loved being right next to the monkeys - they were very entertaining.

Mosquito nets didn't cover around the bed, very slippery tiles around the pool due to moss growing on some, food was terrible, intermittent internet, all the doors were difficult to open and shut.

scary (by that dark path and monkeys)

the staff, the pool is really nice

the property itself is really close to the center by fooot only and really far by car. also you have to walk through a really dark path which were full of scooters/ motorcycle. the place is next to the monkey forest and that means the monkeys are jumping around, on the roof, making a lot of noise and these monkeys are not friendly. they are actually quite aggressive.

lovely villas and sensational staff

The staff here are outstanding and my villa with pool was lovely. I liked the location, only a short walk beside the monkey forest and you were in the heart of Ubud. very relaxing and peaceful, I would definitely return and stay here again.

Serene villa with a homestay feel

This was such a convenient location to Ubud Center. The staff here is incredibly kind and helpful. The bedroom was very spacious and we all slept comfortably. Really appreciated that the rooms had AC in them. The “outdoor” shower area was lovely and refreshing. While the food offerings are limited they are very delicious and we did eat a few meals on site although you have plenty restaurants walking distance from the property.

One thing to note is that there is no real hand soap - a tiny tube of hand wash that is not so easy to use so you might need to use the body wash with squeeze function at the sink or do what we did and just buy a cake of soap. Also there is no safe and if you want to hang up clothes there isn’t a hanger but there is plenty room in the cupboard.
